It's your baby, so you can do as you wish and I appreciate you making adjustments and taking the time to explain. However, I do not see why this non-Itrial incarnate content has to be level 54 when all of the DA arcs and repeatables are based at level 50. Why is this incarnate stuff from the past harder than incarnate stuff from the present? Just like the Mender Ramiel arc, many players and ATs can solo it and many can not. But the player still gets to decide at what level to run it and whether he or she wants or needs assistance.

Even if all you do is solo, the TF popmenu could be valuable to see how many missions are left, and hints on what to do on TFs that you may not have memorized. PS - I'm self-employed and also mainly solo as I may have to leave suddenly to take a call, respond to an email, or otherwise step away from the game for a few minutes to a few hours.

Savage ASF or its question time about Honey Badger
Bionic_Flea replied to The_Warpact's topic in Archetypes
Shield is fun on stalkers. You can easily soft-cap, and get some resist and +HP, along with a second tele-attack in Shield Charge to pair with Savage Leap. And that gives you a decent amount of AoE on a ST specialist AT. I thought I had made one, but it was a savage/shield brute. Tons of fun. For what it's worth, here's the build I made for that. -
Local Man! I know that name.

And thus, Pathetic Flea was born! -
If you, @KaizenSoze (or someone), could make a popmenu with nested menus with each TF, that would be truly awesome! Have each TF listed in the order they are in LFG; click on a TF and get the list of missions, click the mission to get one or several hints that get placed in team chat. While I agree with Ukase and others that merely having the tools will not mean people will know how and when to use them, or even want to use them. But I do think it will help some. I would go further to suggest that, once the popmenu is created, you recruit a few people that volunteer to learn, follow you on the TFs to see how and when you use the instructions, and then let those folks recruit their own volunteers. For convincing Ukase, I offer the following:

What to do with Empyrean Merits in the future...
Bionic_Flea replied to Spectral's topic in General Discussion
That makes sense in a rational world. But we don't live in a rational world. Even worse, we live in an irrational fictional world INSIDE an irrational world. In this crazy town you can find items that are not only less than the cost, but a mere 1 influence -- so low that the seller actually gets negative influence because there are minimum transaction fees deducted. You also have some people that purposely (rather than accidentally) pay more in influence than the equivalent "capped" merit cost. I hear there is even a magical rich dog that will send anyone 20 million influence just for sending it correspondence. CRAZY!! -

Crafting costs are also deflationary. -

We still need to get a good look at Praetorian Hammy! A TF or Trial that had us battling the Seed and Avatar as well as Hammy might be pretty epic.

Four mill influence per minute? Maybe including drop sales, but not straight influence from farm kills. -
Hey Ukase, want to play with us?

As a thought experiment, I made a Fire/Rad to HOLD EVERYTHING!! I counted a stun+immob as a hold, since that is functionally equivalent. Four holds, three hold procs, two stun+immob combos, extra +1 Mag with Control Core Hybrid, Extra AoE Hold in Cryonic Radial Judgment, Longer durations with Clarion Radial Destiny, and Rularuu Lore pets also have a hold. All that and soft cap to S/L, perma hasten/perma AM/perma Earth's Embrace.

I ran Aeon on max level when it first come out to try it and get the badges. And then I run it from time to time at lower settings for fun or the rewards, especially if it's the WSF. I expect the same for ITF, although I think I may run that one more than Aeon.

issue 27 Focused Feedback: Symphony Control
Bionic_Flea replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
I disagree. Perhaps giving it a single, standard, non-mez. single-target attack may not be a bad thing or perhaps it needs other tweaks. But I don't think the entire idea should be tossed just because it's not like other pets. The fact that it is different is the reason to keep it! The Rev does indeed "do damage and other stuff" AS LONG AS "YOU ARE BUSY WITH YOUR CONTROLS." This is the only pet that you can dictate what power it uses and that allows you to get stacks of mez that you could not reliably get before with any other pet. It may take a bit for us to get used to it. -

The only problem with asking for help in General chat is that a bunch of helpful people (like me!) don't monitor it at all. But ask away where ever you like.

As I understand it, if you allow trades, they can be sold on the market and I don't think any of that should be sold on the market or even traded. What I do think should be allowed is transfer within accounts. Why can we transfer any kind of merit or salvage within an account EXCEPT for incarnate salvage?
-
It's not that simple. The AFK timer only works in the "outside" environment, not inside any mission or bases, which they call instances. And then, even outside, you are not AFK kicked if you are in TF mode, which happens in TFs, Trials, Ouro, and AE. That code lets people get ridiculous badges by sitting in a fire taking damage, or letting yourself be mezzed, or AoE healing an army. If your suggested change effected badgers, I think they might not be happy. Another side effect would be having to kick a friend from a TF that is almost over because they had an emergency and had to leave. Right now, they can just park outside until the TF is completed. So while it may be possible to do what you are describing, it might effect other areas of the game, and it definitely wouldn't be easy.

Actually, that's a great idea. You can get 2XP for free but 3XP is progressively more expensive and has the same zero influence. Creates a new influence sink.

And yet, he DID take it into account in his analysis.

I think that Rev is particularly "stupid" as it only has attacks after you use yours and only those for a few seconds. It may be having mean thoughts and wanting to attack but does not have any attacks and then gets stuck in that "there's nothing I can do" mindset even after it does have copied powers from you.
