  1. For common salvage, I will frequent list for anywhere from 1 - 100, simply because I want them to sell fast, secondarily to get the badges as GM Impervium mentioned.

  3. Welcome home, Icy Mike. My general advice to everyone is to play the way you want to play and find people that like that same style. If you can't find those teams, make them!
  4. Here's some of what was going on back then, but it seems like your post was before the change to level 49 farming.
  5. Maybe your character was offline so long he/she got auto-demoted from SG leader and that counted as being logged in as the game interacted with the character (and as stated by Impervium).
  6. +0 Council are not the same as +0 Carnies, Malta, Arachnos, Vanguard, etc. Some ATs and powersets perform better or worse against some of those, everyone stomps on Council. I have a feeling the new stuff will be harder than Council at +0.

  13. I like all the teleporting critters. It's true that Porters are the least dangerous of the three, but someone's gotta be on the bottom.
  14. I don’t think - at least I hope - that anyone saying the game is too easy is illogical enough to be saying that because of +0 speed runs. The problem is definitely much worse: that in fact +4 is too easy. It's a little bit of both, I think. There are some people who have made murder-machines optimized to the nth degree that can solo +4/x8 TFs and they feel most things are too easy. There are an even larger group of people that run full teams at +0; a team of random PUGers at just about any level can steamroll through most content. They also find stuff too easy. Both groups of players could increase their challenge in different ways; some already do. But what the devs are proposing with "Hard-Mode" is something that will make those murder machines stop and think, "maybe I should slow down and bring some friends." While the +0 full teams might just think, "woah, these guys are tougher than Council."
  15. Don't forget that you have Meltdown for an additional 20% resist to all, UNSLOTTED, for 60 seconds.
  16. Obviously, I don't think so, or my build would be closer to yours. But you do you! If you prefer the resists to the defense, go for it.

Rad/Dark is one of my favorite tanks - 1000 point perma-absorb, capped to high resists, virtually unlimited endurance, two-personal heals, one team heal, a no-crash T9, pretty high damage with Soul Drain and Meltdown, soft-capped defense - all these can be yours . . . with a good build. I hope that everyone with concerns about this new TF hits the test server when it comes out and tries it with and without hard-mode at least once, if not several times with different ATs, powers, levels, and slotting -- from god-like incarnates to mid-level SO only builds -- and then give their constructive criticism.
