  1. I moved a few things around to get you the defense and resist procs earlier for leveling or exemping, a bit more range and E/N defense, and a bit more damage.
  2. Thanks, bro.
  3. Threads drop like rain in the Amazon, so I doubt they are severely restricted, if restricted at all. Shards, however, I could believe. But I know that a good run on an ITF can generate 4 - 9 shards pretty consistently, probably because there are a ton of EBs in there.
  4. You might find this thread interesting!
  5. I know it's merely anecdotal, but I have noticed that I get better drops on characters that do a variety of things: missions, TFs, Raids, and not just farming. However, this is probably due to the fact that there are some good recipes that drop on mission completion but I don't notice them until much later. So I can't tell the difference from a critter drop and a mission completion drop. Missions and TFs also tend to have EBs and AVs that have higher chance of dropping good stuff. And then my dedicated farmers that rarely leave AE have good days and bad days. Like many superstitious baseball players, I find that leaving AE helps to break a slump or losing streak. Is it coincidence? Probably. But it feels real to me . . . and it works! I swear!
  6. Once upon a time, I decided I wanted to make a character that could HOLD EVERYTHING! So I made this Fire/Rad/Stone Controller. It has 5 holds: Char, Cinders, Choking Cloud, Em Pulse, and Seismic Smash, plus a hold in Cryonic Judgment and Rularuu Lore Pet with a hold. Added to that are "quasi-holds" of stacking stun with immobilize in Fire Cages (with font that stuns), Flashfire (with immob proc) and Fissure that has KD but needs cages for the immob. Finally, it has extra hold procs in Char, Choking Cloud, and +1 Mag from Control Hybrid. On top of all that, it is soft-capped to S/L and to everything under the effect of Radiation Infection with perma AM + perma Hasten. This is an older build and it may not load on the latest Mids.
  7. Have fun on vacation! You've done such a good job on COD, that I nominate you to tackle CIT next!
  8. He wanted Dark Epic, so i gave him Dark Epic. *Shrug*
  9. Yes, that's a Mids DPS calculation. I thought I had turned off Aim, but I had not. Bummer and my bad. I've not played a Dark armor sentinel so I can't comment on Obscure Sustenance. I just slotted what seemed to make sense based on the power description and the build. But those slots could certainly be changed or moved if needed/wanted.
  10. While I am certainly no Sentinel expert, I put something together that has more damage, defense, and resists than your first draft. Suggested Incarnates: Cardiac Core for more endurance, resistance, and range; Reactive Radial for extra damage and -resist to stack with Opportunity; Pyronic Core and color it dark; Ageless Radial for recharge, endurance, and debuff resistance; and Assault Radial for more damage. And with this chain you can do 245 DPS - Abyssal Gaze --> Antumbral Beam --> Soul Storm --> Abyssal Gaze --> Antumbral Beam
  11. LOL. I got nothing then. Sorry, man. I hope you get it sorted out soon.
  12. If you are sure it's not Retsu, I would suggest filing a /petition in game.
  13. Kuji-in Retsu is crashing. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=stalker_defense.ninjitsu.kuji-in_retsu&at=stalker
  14. Moist Fist on Excelsior asked for a cheap build for Water-Time Dark. I concentrated on recharge to get perma-Chrono Shift and Farsight and then a bit of defense spread around so that it has 30ish defense to all vectors and positions such that a team or small purple will get you to softcap. Another excellent feature is that a fully saturated Soul Drain + Tidal Forces with a lucky Gaussian proc will get you just shy of the damage cap for corruptors and a 900 damage Geyser without Scourge.
  15. Don't worry RoboKnight's empty recipes tab, if you work hard you won't be empty for long.
  16. I agree with this EXCEPT I think you should disclose the conditions like the AV, the level, the powersets, and what additional powers or items were used. Then we know when we compare that we take all that into account.
  17. Traps is under-rated. As a solo character, it excels. You can set up your trap pit of doom and then draw critters there to laugh maniacally. It also has a bad rap of "too slow for today's game", but I disagree with that. With a good build and enough recharge you can get there before the tank to plant poison trap and acid mortar. The bombs, however, are a bit dated with a long animation and too easy to interrupt. The bombs are bonus damage, which is nice but not needed on a team. Traps is also great against AVs and GMs with -1000 regen from poison trap and the -20 resist from Acid Mortar that can be doubled with Achilles Heel. Traps now also benefits greatly from Fold Space. Bring them to your Pit of Doom!
  18. I went Core. Although the rule of thumb is to go for Radial unless blaster or scrapper, that doesn't take into account the radius in the proc formula reducing the chance greatly. And someone, Bopper I think, did a study of damage auras and found that they were better off with Core than Radial. I think Oil Slick Arrow, Ignite, and possibly even Full Auto might be better off with Core as well. Bopper's study also showed that the single target attacks, especially long recharge ones, benefited more from radial than core and that the end result after adding all attacks together was that both sides ended up very close to each other.
  19. Thanks for the quick reply. That worked. I added the Client Mod program from Philtotic Knight but I guess I used the wrong folder to stick it in.
  20. Since we came back from the outage yesterday I get the following error trying to start the game on Homecoming (64-bit): "File: bin/clientmessages-en.bin Unable to locate bin/clientmessages-en.bin" However, I can still log in via Homecoming (32-bit). I've tried re-verifying and switching manifests between /manifest.xml and /beta.xml but that didn't work.
  21. That was trying with 64. I'm able to log in with 32. Go figure.
  22. This is the error message I get now trying to log in via Tequila.
  23. I like it! Each zone should have 500% more combat NPCs!
