  1. I still want Zeus’s lightning (or whatever the name is for what statesman/imperious/tyrant has. I’ve also had reason to want council lore pets at one point, that was before the council buffs, so they would have been pretty weak then, but would be fun to have now.
  2. Attach the Mids file to a post, it is the easiest way to share builds. can’t really comment too much just looking at the screenshot, but you’ve got the Force Feedback proc and Build Up toggled on which are skewing your numbers.
  3. Ok, I don’t know what you’re smoking, but can I have some?
  4. I actually really enjoy my Ice/Spines. The biggest advantage with Stone over Ice IMO is ice only gets 1% defense and 5% resistance to Psi without Energy Absorption stacks and Hoarfrost is significantly harder to perma than Earth’s Embrace for toxic resistance. Energy Absorption can add a chunk of Psi defense, but it’s nothing compared to what Minerals provides. Ice does have Chilling Embrace for extra mitigation via -recharge and -damage though.
  5. Wtf does lore pets have to do with siphon power supposedly being worthless? also, there’s a lot of content post-fulcrum shift but pre-lore, so whatever you might have meant from that comment still doesn’t hold water. If only transfusion did something other than -regen… maybe if it did an AoE heal it’d be more useful? It’s useful for anyone pre-clarion, which I would remind you is a fair bit of the game. Also, since the meta is cycling Barrier, clarion isn’t always a guarantee. Again… lots of game before people are fully IO’d out, and even still, some builds have endurance issues even with IOs, having a kin can mean slotting an alpha other than Cardiac. I’m not going to get into an argument whether FS is too strong or not, but the set *does* provide more than just FS.
  6. I’ve got a stone/spines in the mid 20s, haven’t played it in forever. It will definitely do what you want it to do. just know that as of right now, Spines is getting hurt pretty bad in the next patch. ok, technically it’s all tanker secondaries, but since they’re specifically nerfing AoEs, and that’s kind of Spines’ thing, it’s getting hurt more than other sets.
  7. SOs are a bit of a trap once you hit 22 or 27 (depending on your preference) so I could see *something* changing to make them a little less of a waste.
  8. I mean, Council and CoT have a range of level 5 to level 54, so it's not like there's not precedent for having a group be both low and high level. My only disappointment with Skulls getting bulked up in Kallisti Wharf is that they already have their moment to shine in the Shauna Stockwell and Eagle Eye arcs. Hellions? they get a blip in Matthew Habashy and then? Nothing! *they* should have been the ones to get bumped in the Page 2 content.
  9. Basically you'd only ever have to pay for an enhancement once that way, which I suspect is not going to happen. You slot a level 5 for the level 5 price, then you upgrade to level 10, but you only pay the difference, then you upgrade to level 15, again only paying the difference, and so on. Basically this would mean you'd only ever pay the price of the highest SO you upgrade to and not have any recurring costs.
  10. I was going to suggest Beam Rifle for theme… but then you said no weapons. ice and Psy have the stacking -recharge to go on top of Time’s. Electric has the advantage of not having cones, which works well with time liking melee range. I know it’s not a meta set, but I find Storm blast to be very fun.
  11. I kind of consider Medicine in the same ballpark as Sorcery or Experimentation. Both of those are also kind of original locked due to their animations as well.
  12. Fulcrum shift doesn’t even nullify Siphon Power, the only other power in Kin that does something similar.
  13. I tried to use a slot machine as a reward merit thing, the Merit vendor is so much larger than the slot machines that it looked stupid.
  14. If you want to move before having a second power fire, you have 2 options: 1. Don’t click another power before you actually want to use it 2. hit escape key to prevent your queued up attack from being queued up I don’t want a delay added between the attack I’m doing and the attack I have queued up, that would be a nerf.
  15. @RakaiThwei what Rudra said, go to the costume creator and go into the power customization menu, from there you can choose the alternate animations
  16. Have you checked out the alternate animations for Martial Arts? They’re all punches.
  17. If you insist on having a damage aura, I’d say bio or stone are your best armor choices. Stone is a good balance of defense and offense while Bio leans a Pride more towards offense but can still be built quite tanky. @Sovera has done some amazing things with their Stone/Fire for beginners build. Invul is usually considered one of the best all around defensive sets, but no damaging aura. You could pair it with Rad melee to get 1 damaging aura though.
  18. Doesn’t Enfeebling Lullaby do decent -damage? I haven’t played any of my symphony toons in a while but I seem to remember that, which really makes it worth looking at taking.
  19. I was thinking about this yesterday and I remembered that kinetics has a bit of a higher skill floor than some other support sets. This is because it focuses on increasing offense rather than a mix of offense and defense like other support sets do. I think kinetics in an MM just highlights that focus.
  20. FYI: Power Boost hasn’t affected Knock back in a long time. The rest of your idea is a little more fleshed out and could be interesting, however.
  21. Not only does it stack, but the existing duration refreshes when you re-use the power. So once you have 8+ stacks you only need to hit a couple guys and you’re golden, and with the adaptive recharge, you’re better off hitting fewer enemies.
  22. I’m all for adding APPs, a few things though: 1. melee sets are not going to get a Melee attack in their APP, they get a mix of things, but none of them have a melee attack in them. 2. A “jumping uppercut” already exists in Street Justice’s Crushing Uppercut. 3. All 4 melee ATs get access to Energy Mastery. Energy Torrent isn’t the exact same animation but it’s basically a Hadoukin so, keeping these three things in mind, how do you distinguish Ki/Chi mastery from Energy Mastery?
  23. I really can't speak for proc heavy builds, that's not my forte, but I can give some general build notes: First things first: You have the Chance for Build Up proc turned on in Water Jet, this is skewing your damage and accuracy numbers for all relevant powers. Water Burst (69.36%) and Water Jet (56.64%) have abysmally low accuracy against +3s when this is turned off. In Water Burst I'd replace the Acc/Knockback with a 50+5 Accuracy and do the same with the Chance for Build Up proc in Water Jet, this still only gets the +3 accuracy to 82.02% for both powers, but if you follow my suggestion for Radiation Infection below, you should be good. Unless you're planning on only playing at level 50, you want to fit Enervating Field in much earlier, it does -30% resistance in an AoE, not something you want to miss out on earlier in the game. I'd say take it at 10, push Hover to 18, Evasive Maneuvers to 26, Boxing 32, Tough 35, Weave 38, PBU 41, Temp Invul 44, Force of Nature 47 and Assault to 49. Speaking of Force of Nature, I'd probably skip it for something else. Whirlpool is a great AoE, but I wouldn't want to wait until 47 to get that, would have to try and fit it earlier as well. Force of Nature has a nasty crash that can leave you dead if you're not prepared for it. Hasten doesn't need 3 level 50+5s, 2 gets you to the ED cap, the 3rd shaves 2.6 seconds off the recharge. Geyser, No reason to slot the Acc/Knockback IO, I'd slot a Pacing of the Turtle Acc/End instead. Normally I slot Radiation Infection with 3 Enzymes to boost both the -To-Hit and the -Defense, but I know you're looking at the recharge bonus, so perhaps that 3rd slot in hasten could be put into RI and done as a level 50+5 Defense Debuff? Finally, the Panacea proc (chance for heal/endurance) provides better endurance gains on average than a Miracle +recovery when slotted into health, if you can only have 1 of the two, I'd go for the former.
  24. I know you’re just joking, but at CoV launch, villain ATs were limited to 40. I think Grandville was released in i7
  25. Right there with you, I currently have 4 toons planned Regen/Claws tank Energy/Staff Tank Psi/Energy tank (may go energy/psi brute instead) Pyro/Time controller
