  1. I run the hollows a lot, I've never been sent to the tunnels for Atta... It's always just a door mission inside the hollows itself. Are you thinking about Karsis and the Cavern of Transcendence trial?
  2. You've got my vote.
  3. This sounds like a lot of fun... And I've been thinking of rolling a new Rad tank anyway...
  4. /Electric is a good go-to for AoE damage.
  5. Early solo Mind is a great set, as your tier 1-3 powers are your attack chain. That being said, empathy as a secondary won't help you much. Later in the game soloing will go a lot slower, but is still functional. As for teaming, your main control is Terrify, which, as a fear, has limitations, but is decent at what it does. Empathy brings a lot to a team with 4 key powers... Fortitude, the two RAs, and adrenaline boost. Fortitude should be used on Squishies first and tanks last, unless your tank is the one dying... In which case your team has bigger problems.
  6. Since we're talking clean up, I'd say something single target oriented, maybe an Energy Melee scrapper? Alternately you could do a reverse on the traditional thinking and go a Gravity controller and wormhole stragglers back on to the tank that ran ahead.
  7. Short answer, yes. New stuff is being worked on. Long answer, the dev in charge of compiling all of the code changes took a break due to some real life issues. My understanding is he was just recently able to start working on HC again, so hopefully within the next little while we should see new stuff. What that new stuff is... I don't know.
  8. Recovery serum would help the endurance issues, allowing you to attack more. But really, just teaming would be the best advice I can give.
  9. The same way hook hands do?
  10. I say new, but they are already in game. It's been asked for before, but I'm asking for it again... Can we please get Raptor Pack and Zero-G pack as back options?
  11. Bio is still a very strong choice. Especially if you have a Sonic toon to back you up. I've been soloing my bio/spines tank at +4x8 and she chews through most content. /Rad may be a better choice than spines though because it has better single target damage for hard enemies.
  12. The in-set stealth powers usually have higher non-suppressing defense values and/or lower end cost than stealth.
  13. Scaling up would require almost every enemy group (bar Arachnos, CoT and Council) to be reworked so that they are actually able to be fought at higher levels.
  14. All of my Radiation emission characters use the battle cry "Die somewhere useful!"
  15. 1. In before the lock 2. Can I have your stuff?
  16. I guess the question boils down to "are any of the attacks real stinkers?" Right now both of my very old planned builds have all 9 powers from DB, which causes issues with eating up slots where they could be better put.
  17. Hey there, so I have a pair of DB/Invulnerable toons in their 20s (a brute and a tank) and I'm stuck on their builds. I have been told to "ignore combos and just go for the best attacks". However, I don't know what those attacks are. So, my question is simple, for these toons, what Dual Blades attacks are considered skippable? Thanks!
  18. You're going to want to fill in that attack chain a little bit. Gauntlet is an AoE taunt to all of your single target attacks, so by attacking you are tanking. As for the best Adaptation... Defensive will keep you alive best, Efficient will help your endurance and with some Regen. So those are the two I'd stick with if you don't care at all about damage. Offensive has a -resist penalty, so you end up slightly less durable. That being said, things will sure fastest in offensive, and dead things deal no damage.
  19. I was going to suggest Martial Arts specifically for Storm Kick, but then you said you aren't trying to test a primary's defensive capabilities. That really limits your options a lot, as most sets get something pretty good in terms of extra mitigation. Have you thought about a "gobbledygook 2.0" claws/Regen?
  20. Stealth alone makes you "effectively" as invisible as a stalker. You've got boss level invisibility, so nothing will see you without +perception. Usually the things with extra perception can see through everything.
  21. Yes, I'd say it was working as intended because catalyzing am enhancement makes it work at your level, not the level of the un-catalyzed io. So your level 29 character should get slightly better results from a catalyzed enhancement than it would a level 28 enhancement. To confirm this, if you looked at the value for a level 29 enhancement it should be the same as your catalyzed one.
  22. Ice arrow doesn't lower resistance to resistance debuffs, it lowers the (de)buffs the enemy does. So this means that any -to-hit they do will be weaker, alternately, it also affects any +to-hit they have. You can see this in CoD as -Special as apposed to Acid Arrow which is -Res(Special) Similarly, EMP Arrow does not do -Res(Special). It lists it as -Boost... which I have no idea what that means, but looking at the child effect, it seems to be the same as the -Special that Ice Arrow does (just greater magnitude). I loaded up a power analyzer and jumped into game to confirm this. Acid Arrow shows up as the Resistances being debuffed, EMP Arrow does not show these.
  23. I had that combo as a tanker and just found it boring because of how safe it was, what AT were you that had so much end issues?

the numbers you see in the info tab include Scourge, which shouldn't be included in base damage calculations.
