  1. Yin stance wouldn't work well with defense based sets.
  2. *runs to make an ice/ corruptor*
  3. So, this is my Bio/Spines tank, with the exception of the ATO in Ripper and obviously when powers become available, it should give you a start. She solos at +3x8 no problem. 4. Sure, and I've got plenty of defenders/controllers/corruptors that have soft capped defense meaning they can handle it as well... the issue is the game isn't balanced around IOs.
  5. Regen tankers would probably get me to finally be able to play a set that I want to enjoy but dont, however, I think the set is far too reactive for a tanker's "Jump in and get all the aggro" playstyle. Long and short, Resilience's minor +Resist is not enough to keep a tank alive when Reconstruction/Dull Pain are on cool down.
  6. Can someone please tell me how to do this? I miss having glue arrow as a targeted aoe
  7. Honestly, the KB->KD is a trade-off. you have to use a slot to get it, meaning you can't 6 slot. There are advantages to it, but there are also disadvantages. I don't think it's a good idea to just have a global KB->KD without some sort of trade-off.
  8. what "problem"?
  9. Ok, I opted for Plant/Icy from the comments above, here is a build I came up with should I get her far enough... any recommendations would be appreciated. 10. I'm not sure what the image is called, but here is where you can find out how to do it https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Macro_image_(Slash_Command)
  11. How's Mind/Dark? It turns out I have one that is 25 (probably the highest I've ever gotten a Dom) I know Mind Control pretty well from a Controller perspective, I know once I get terrify she'll be a lot stronger, but right now she just feels very "meh". Edit: Also, if I were to go Electric, what powers can I skip from there?
  12. You skipped Dominate, Confuse, Terrify, and Adrenalin Boost, which are all powers that I'd say fit into "the most powerful powers" in the combo. You also don't have a travel power, which, while not strictly necessary, is a nice have. This build isn't necessarily Top-Tier (Mind/Emp is a combo I haven't run) but it gives a lot more survivability than your current build and it fits in powers that I think will be more helpful. Note: I generally recommend Mesmerize as well, but I couldn't fit it in with decent slotting. 13. I've been playing a long time and one of the ATs that I just can't really get into is Dominators... I want to like them, but compared to Controllers they just feel really weak, I guess if I were to get one to Perma-Dom level that would change, but so far I just cant play them that much. I always read Doms and think "this would be good Team AND Solo" but then it never feels that way. SO I come looking for suggestions on what Dominator may get me interested in the AT I was thinking Electric Control because it's one of the sets that I've not gotten very high, but I also know Plant control is considered one of the best for Dominators, so I'm not against that either. but what secondary should I go with? Can I enjoy a Dominator without Perma-Dom, or do I just have to suck it up and play the build until I can get there (which I doubt I'd do)?
  14. Lady Grey likes flight because But really that's the only TF I can think of that has something special like that. This is also easily overcome with the P2W jetpack you can buy.
  15. Here are a few of my favorites: Al Chemist (Poison/Water Defender) Broot Force (Kin/EnA Brute) Cinder Crawford (Fire/Thermal Controller) Cold Dark Knight (Ice/Dark Corruptor) Elefftee (Electric/Devices Blaster) - a play on LFT Family Matters (Assault Rifle/WP Sentinel) - from the old TV show/The Family enemy group Greenpiece (Rad/DP Defender) Hypocritic Oath (Assault Rifle/Pain Corruptor) Miss D'Mee (Super Reflexes/Martial Arts Tanker) Rouge Angle of Satin (TA/Dark Defender) Santa-Claws (Ice/Claws Tanker) Tankerbelle (Super Reflexes/Axe Tanker) Thyme Bandit (DP/Nature Corruptor)
  16. I guess the big question is (and someone said it before) what level are you? Single Origin enhancements make a world of difference. Also, 3 slotting End Redux in attacks means you're not 3 slotting Damage, which is a big trade-off. I generally go 1 accuracy, 1 End-redux, 3 Damage, 1 Recharge if just looking at SOs/Common IOs
  17. I'm concerned by your lack of Acid Arrow, but it's an interesting build. One thing you could always do is load the character onto the test server and do a respec there, then you aren't "wasting" any inf.
  18. Hey! What's wrong with my Rouge Angle of Satin?
  19. On point 2: You should be able to put the power in your bar just like you used to be able to, unless this got changed.
  20. I just found a major bug (I'll post it wherever it needs to go). When creating a build, slot levels change depending on where a power is slotted. IE: I slot my a power at level 7, but because that power was taken at a lower level it shows as being slotted at level 3
  21. Thanks @Bopper! Quick bug I noticed now that I just installed it... my Poison/Water defender is showing Momentum in the inherent power selection (I've deselected all Prestige powers and that didn't fix it)
  22. Back to the original thread, what would this do to something like a build compensating for Granite's debuffs? If those debuffs aren't changed, suddenly it becomes a lot harder to overcome the -recharge in Granite.
  23. Apparently that link doesn't work anymore, here's a direct link to the forums https://www.repeat-offenders.net/forum/
  24. check out https://www.repeat-offenders.net/ That's where Green Machines was conceptualized and where you're most likely to be able to find people who want to play them. Of note: There are more requirements than just being empathy. Also, RO runs mostly on Everlasting, so that's where you'd best get a team together. I'm working on finishing up my GM's build so he can solo (almost) as well as he teams, but it's expensive.
  25. There's no such thing as a "Knockdown" set. If you were to slot "Knockback" sets into it, anything other than procs would have mobs being knocked out of the patch.
