My character, Mara, is a Praetorian. When she reached level 14, Calvin Scott became her active contact. Instead of introducing her to Crow, he gave her his mission arc. It turns out his story arc involves killing Crow. As soon as she accepted Scott's mission, Crow's and Dr. Helix's story arc became inaccessible. I thought I had an easy fix for Mara. I got her level up to 22, ask someone to open Ouroboros Portal. It's not working. The portal said that it rejects her. Come on! I know she has done many dirty/questionable things, but she is level 22. Why would it bar her from entering? Later I realized her supergroup has a Pillar of Ice and Flame. How stupid I am. She ran the story arc, completed her first mission, and then got stuck. Because she is a loyalist, the resistance gate will not open and let her speak with Crow. She didn't have his number at that time. I guess her last option is to ask one of her supergroup members. That member must belong to the resistance group and roughly at the same level as Mara, or higher. Let us imagine this. A loyalist is asking her colleagues if they are a resistance member. If they are, they will bring her into their hideout deep underground. I hope this is going well for her. If anyone has a better solution, please let me know. Thank you.

Out of curiosity, I put my character next to a couple in People's Park. She has a regular build (she is non-athletic). Her height is on par with Trina. And this is her compared to Praetorian men. I think Praetorian male citizens are kinda... huge? edit Ladies of the HC forum, have you ever sit in a public bench that when you lean back, your shoulder hit its backrest?

I love the way she showcases her, uh..... assets.

I wonder how long would it take to reach Lv. 50 by street hunting? Let say 5 Lv.1 toons team up, fight nearest +2/+3 mobs they could find, level up, repeat until they reach Lv.50. Thanks

I think there are old missions from contacts that are not belong to a story arc and do not give badges. (e.g: Azuria's missions in Atlas Park). Those mission are not listed in Ouroboros.

I'm sorry about that novella remark. I made my character's description similar to an NPC contact. I also see a character description as a summary. Therefore it must be succinct. In my opinion, the current limit is more than enough. However, I saw other players use it as their character's origin story or biography. In that case, 2000 characters may or may not suffice. So, the question is how many ways players use that character description and which one is the most common. Then, we use that to decide whether to expand or to keep the limitation.

The limitation is a reminder to keep our bio succinct. Revoking it may cause those bios to grow into a novella. After all, we are one of the most creative communities around.

Requiem is a Latin word. Just because a fascist leader calls himself "Requiem" doesn't mean that a few who use "requiem" in their name is "lost on all of them that in our game world they may as well be using references to stalin or hitler". That is absurd.

I apologize because I may derail this thread. I feel that there is something wrong with this idea. They are not lost. This word may refer to a fascist leader, but "Requiem" is also a Latin word. It is from Requiem Aeternam, a Christian prayer. If the City of Heroes universe mirror ours, then this word has been commonly used for hundreds of years. At least I wish our beloved Requiem (the 5th column one) lives up to his name. May God grants him eternal rest (and perpetual light too)! /rant

I think this minor bug has been in the game since live: Adding an Enhancement Slot while while opening Personal Info window will render a portion of Personal Info in the lower right window.

Is there any slash command to select and copy the whole chat buffer? Ctrl + A only selects a line. I tried to highlight the whole chat using a mouse and then press Ctrl+C. This merely copies 4 or 5 lines.
