  1. No, they are not. The new contacts (Habashy, Stockwell, Adair, etc.) are OK. It is the old contacts that need fixing. They randomly assign players to different city zones every time said player accepts the mission. Is it possible to reduce those mission entries into a single city zone? Quoting Lines: Travelling to advance the story arc is good, random hopping is not.
  2. Selecting Back/Cancel after loading a costume will not reset/cancel its back detail. This only happens if your current attire has no back detail. Customize your appearance (no back detail). Click the load button. Select any costume with back detail. Click Back/Cancel instead of Next The back detail will attach itself to your attire in black and white. Remedy this situation by clicking the reset button next to the back detail section. Otherwise, you may have to spend additional inf* to repair your attire. *I tested this for mantle and backpack. I didn't test this for wings.
  3. It seems the game randomly selects the city zone anytime you accept a mission. Unless it specifically mentioned the place. I multi boxed three characters. They phoned the contact from Atlas Park. (It was Clockwork Captive story arc.) Each character received the same task from the contact but had to go to different locations. Andre's mission was in Atlas, while Gina's and Luigi's were in Steel Canyon. I never knew Lou had so many wives. I didn't want to run this same mission twice, so I made Gina and Luigi abandoned their mission. They keep calling (and abandoning) their mission until the contact assigned them to Atlas Park. I still had multiple entry points at Atlas Park. I have questions. Multiple. How many wives this mechanic has? How did he feed them? Why did he house them in the same city zone? What happened to those women I abandoned?
  4. Whenever I make a new character, suddenly this game temporarily turns into a dress up game. Fighting crimes can wait until I have proper costumes! Description Detail + Weapon Front Back Rookie - Mara equips herself with a pair of shoulder pads, an old beam rifle, and a few power cartridges. Her superior thinks these additional ammunitions will suffice against those pesky ghouls. Light Armor - Mara's friend repurposed an IDF armor for her. It has an internal power generator and a gas mask. This armor is Mara's favorite, although she seldom uses the gas mask. Firepower - The Firepower variant is a step up. It replaces the rifle with a beam cannon. Another feature is a rebreather that allows Mara to work in a toxic environment. A few minor faults lie in its cooling system. Social - According to Mara, this is how a regular Jane in backward Primal Earth looks. She frequently wears these to infiltrate socialize with her friends in Pocket D or Studio 55. She put them on any occasion that doesn't require violent approaches. Cimerora(?) - Mara went back in time in a rescue mission once. She chose this getup to draw less attention from the local population. At least nobody would notice her rifle and call the authorities. She regretted her decision when she realized that the year is 53 CE, not 1953 CE.
  5. How did I miss this one? Equip dancer shoes, dancer ring, select Perky Step and let her rip! Whack! Whack! Whack!
  6. I inspected those image. The first seven are from https://mail.google.com/mail/. They are all gone. The last five are from https://forums.homecomingservers.com/uploads/monthly_2020_08/. Maybe Player2 copy pasted those images straight into the forum and something went wrong?
  7. Meet Mara aka Athanasia, a proud daughter of Praetoria: She is your friendly (fascist) chatterbox, simply steer away from talking politics and you'll be fine.
  8. "Lost connection to mapserver" while fighting mobs. Yay for necroposting!
  9. I thought MLTF is a Danish rock band? Oh, wait...
  10. Meet Athanasia, another Power Division rookie. Not suspicious at all, except: She is wearing a Resistance armor. She equips herself with Vanguard technology. Guess where did she get those things. She regularly enlists her friends to help complete her mission. One of them is reading "Paragon City Times".
  11. An XP Debt badge is still a badge. Gotta catch 'em all!
  12. I wonder when a remade is still a remade, if : I change their AT because I want to play another type. Then, I alter their costume because the old ones are outdated. Including their body proportions because 8 years ago I made my heroine broad shouldered and very long legged. I rewrite their origin story because this happens in alternate universe (Reunion vs. Union). I rename them too. (but I promise these people are my old characters' counterparts from Union Universe)
  13. It seems this crate is no longer an objective for this mission, although it shows up in navigation map. However, has anyone clicked this crate before meeting Leon? Clicking this crate after finishing the mission will return "You Can't Complete This Objective Yet".
  14. My limitation: Play for fun. If playing this game generates rage, despair, and/or boredom then stop playing immediately. Do not play this game more than 2 hours a day. Maximum difficulty level is (-1/0), time invested to play the game must be greater than calculating def, tohit, res, proc, acc, fbi, etc. This is a good candidate for another limitation: PS I'm still trying to obey my own limitation.
  15. Whenever I start combat with a group of Circle of Thorns, sometime their victim will utter a single quote ('). Michel is one of Circle of Thorn victims.
  16. IMO a bright clashing colored player characters is unfavorable because that particular player has to look at them while s/he is playing the game. Imagine staring at the backside of a bright yellow/blue spandex for hours. --edit-- This is based from personal experience back then. I designed a complementary color (blue/yellow) on my character. It seemed OK at first. I changed my mind after staring her running around for several hours. Maybe it's just me.
  17. Priorities. I could not understand them
  18. My math teacher taught me that we could rotate a vector by multiplying it with a rotation matrix. On the other hand, we could calculate angle between two vectors using trigonometry. This "orientation matrix" is weird.
  19. Today I was playing a "defeat all" mission and then this happened to me: I didn't do anything, this guy simply spawned up there. I could not hit him because the ceiling blocked my attack. Outsmarted by an outcast chilling in the ceiling.
  20. A random hero deliberately positions himself a few hundred feet above a group of angry Skulls while floating 40 feet away from the nearest rooftop ledge. "I am quite sure those cultists know how to fly. Everybody said so." 😈
  21. An additional finding: I keep my character who owns safeguard mission out of the map and the completed side missions do not reset. The key mobs don't respawn, so the rest of my team can not farm the side missions. Anyone else can replicate this? Does it mean that we can reset only failed side mission? Is farming side missions impossible? Thanks.
  22. Today I played hide and seek with several Hellions. The lower right and lower left part of this map has several floors. Also, it is an unmarked defeat all map. 30 minutes wasted😡
  23. Intoxicated Heroics - Drunken Master - Forgot Pants
  24. I read this in https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Safeguard_Mission "If the mission owner enters the map, completed side missions will not reset when the mission is reset. If the mission owner does not enter the map, then the side missions will reset with the mission resets." Does it mean that I can only farm main mission but not the side missions?
  25. The Operator A straight man spends most of his time babysitting his boss and "his best friend". Especially the latter because he knows she is plotting something.
