I am slow levelling a Dark Dark Corruptor. Just finished 1-19 redside content and stepped up to 24, shut off exp. A new power is Life Drain. I put in Theft of essence PROC and Scourging Blast chance for +End. It hits hard, it heals me, and most often it gives me End, sometimes a lot. It's good to be a Vampire!

When I Tank I try to lead the team....where they want to go. That took a loooong time to learn. I play a Brute different, cannonballing where I want to. But over the years I play Brutes more like a Tank....sometimes.

The world does not revolve around you. We have a community. Of people who enjoy the game.

right now it is level 24 and has almost nothing slotted but SOs

I feel this way on Brutes and Blasters. Friends have pointed out that I "tank" on Blasters even when low level and using SOs. But now I am maining a Corruptor. Dark Dark Dark twisted Soul that i am....I judge. Because I am trying to leverage these idiots abilities (thats my job I am learning lol) and they are acting like they have been chewing lead paint figurines in a city college "required" course while snapchatting to people they want to like them.

We love those the most. Tell them to drop over to my crypt. For a bite.

You don't read my posts? A small recognizable portion of the players are incredibly good. A lot of people on alts I do not recognize are really good. Then the other half, and it seems to be about half. A lot of people seem drunk or distracted. They can play....but just doing stuff that makes you wonder if they played the TF before or have a map open or are pouring themselves wine. Then, a small unrecognizable portion that seem to be batshit nuts and unteachable.

Was Running a Dark Dark....Corruptor. So low did not even have Shadow Fall yet. I really thought the game had crashed. It mapserved three times, and each time took forever to sync back up. No problems since.

Right now my little new year project just finished all 1-19 content and that is exactly what he does. The rework on stealth made the stealth proc gold. For combat the shadow fall gets me close enough to be tactical.

Yeah. I needed three enhancers yesterday. All “the special ones” from their sets. It was so much cheaper each time to buy the crap regular one and convert to the one i needed. All three times. I was amazed that the price difference was extreme enough to make me care. A few million?

Dark Regen is not a good spot I think. Personal opinion. Any Dark Armor needs a support. I just talked a friend down from Sup Str Dark. The thought of the Rage crash gave me a sickening feeling.

Well Dark Melee is an oddball set. If they did not do stuff like that with it no one would play it. Because it lurches sideways into a fight and then goes into a Wednesday Addams dance instead of a traditional martial arts plan

Theft of Essence is not good in Dark Regen. Try to slam it into Siphon Life if you are Dark Dark. Dark Regen (and really Siphon Life) are both short recharge. But you should be holding Dark Regen in Reserve for Trouble and you should be spamming Siphon Life. Great attack.

for me it is a significant investment in time and change of play structure to earn. but you may be selling Winter packs you bought two years ago for 10mil a pop for 24 mil a pop. That would make it a lot easier.

A bit. Most of my leisure time is in City of Villains. I do work full time and keep healthy with some other stuff though. Us old vampires have to keep moving or we freeze up. (thats when they put you in a box and say you are in torpor. really just thinking, why you put me in a dam box?

you couldnt tell i think this is all funny as hell? i just hate seeing these same idiots on the freeway cutting off semis. that is less funny

For a greedy organized little vampire like me it is not. If you read through this thread you will see a significant portion of people who log into the game to PLAY the game. With their friends, to relax. Not to work. The people in this thread posting that they do not want to meta game just to be able to have fun....they represent a voting block of real players who FEEL that way. That is completely valid. It is a game. It is fun. it is free. we do it to enjoy life. Well, i also get to kidnap Paragon citizens to give to Dr Vahzilok. Work can be fun. Basically there does need to be a balance to remain true to game theory. But the Winter pack sales, and the subsequent abuse (over enthusiastic and smart use?) of such has lopsided that a bit. I offered up a solution. Lowering Winter packs to 10 Mil permanent, and Hero packs to 5-7. Of course the current Dev staff follow my wisdom diligently. look for that in the next patch....

I see that posting I have been very polite not to crap on it as you recruit. You do you. Stay away from me lol Today I am continuing on with the toon I started 12/27. New toon (dark dark corr) for 2023 to solo all Redside contacts. Have done all 1-14, working at a steady pace on 15-20 today. Also starting the 4 DiBs I need to keep those tasty buffs until level 30. Have badged all winter except lady winter and still need 60 winter horde. Not sure what level lady winter event is. It may open this afternoon when i roll 20-24 content. Or it may be a next winter badge. But I roll easy mode. Well, soloing Redside on a Corruptor is not super difficult, but it is a walk in the park compared to what some of you maniacs do 😆

they only track (and that is a generous F-ing term) the last 5. common moves a lot. so if someone (like me) is crafting and bidding 5k per prices are "rising" if no one is bulk purchasing long term bidders bidding 10 inf get filled "prices are dropping"

pretty sure WO in this context means Winter Origin. the 1.2 per was the clue for me.

I actually really tried to help the one person who could not get to Faultline. I posted the base entry macro fro the cosmic transport base. Five minutes (while I patiently explained the use if the macro near a base portals) later they indicated they did not know how to copy paste anything. So i told them to type the relevant portion to enter base passcode. Ans said explicitly what that portion was. But they somehow went from Steel to Perez Park. I gave up at that point. The team was struggling and my efforts were futile. I went and started doing my part to get the TF done. I seriously try to help on every TF. I am not a speed player and not a great player, but I am not bad if you got nothing else lol.
