I did catch a Citadel later in the day. It was a mediocre run at best lol. But it was a run. Of note: On all the cave maps, every intersection seemed to encourage a team split. No idea why. We were at best two teams, sometimes 6. I am on a Corruptor (prob will be all year, that is the plan) so I followed the half that looked like it was walking into the stupidest thing they could do. I am not the best player, but I know those maps. Many times they found stupid. There were deaths. I think I was down 3 or 4 times. I am leaning heavily into debuffing during the first portion of the fight and blasting in the second portion. When enemy waves are coming in I cycle back and forth. I am more comfortable on a Blaster and know Dark Blast well. But I am starting to learn the tricks of the Dark Dark Corruptor. The AoE stun I used to turn my nose up at? Just enough breathing room to get off 3-4 AoE debuffs! I need to work on my rez. Do I need to be standing on my dead teammate? Damn I suck at healing lol. I do spam the heal, but other than being in close with melee I have no idea if I am healing those that need it. I mostly spam it as a debuff honestly. My ST heal self from Dark Blast hits like a truck. (and has 2 +end procs in it! that may change but it definitely helps at low levels) Also of note: No one had P2W powers like ATT and TT. (except me) They were all damn motivated to get to the next mission and run deep into the map before any other teammates showed up though! I blame sugar. Dont know why, sugar did nothing to me. Honestly they were probably just a dumb group. Sorry sugar. When I was able to take 10 seconds to prep a spawn before they clown car rolled into them (Tar patch, Fear cone, debuff toggle....) the spawn melted fast. It was a 55 minute run. It was not horrid. It was not great. It was the mediocre of times, it was the mediocre of times.

While it is absolutely true it is easy to make cash in CoH…. I too call BS on your earnings. At most you say you gamed 4 hrs for 14 days. It seems like you are saying less, but lets roll with that. That is 56 hours gaming. In which you made 2billion. That is 35 million per hour. With no using the market? So just inf grind and selling common recipes? Someone double check my math. My little phone calc balked at 2 billion lol. But i swear i am calculating this right.

Yeah, shit seem to have gotten heated. I offer the wisdom of a very grumpy old vampire. Do Not Let It Get To You. Get cut off in traffic? Let it go. Someone screams in your face. Let it go. Someone cheats you on a deal? let it go. There is a line....Some fool runs at you with the intent and ability to do harm.....(heres a hint...no words necessary; then clean up real good. And let it go.)

This was a doozy. Thankfully only wasted a few minutes. I need on my little project a Citadel, a Hess, and a Cavern of Transcendence. I see an ad for a Citadel. I switch to Blue side and join. Eating breakfast, grabbing insp from AH. Not paying attention. We form. GO! We load in. to +4s. The lead is lower level that the TF and is set to +1. No idea. We fight for a few minutes, die, plan. Reform! When we reform it hits me. We are standing at Manticore in Bricks. (I am not a bluesider....but somethings seeeems off) I am like "Hey, this was advertised as a Citadel." "It was a mt" QUIT. Not even rage quit. Just laughing into my mug of blood quit.

There is a lot of backstory Redside. It always flummoxes me when people complain about being a Redsider always working for Arachnos. That is literally fully explained In Kalinda and/or Matthew Burke’s arcs beginning contacts. Then faithfully developed through the entire rest of the story arcs. But Redside has Arachnos as a backdrop. That is literally all it is right up until you hand Recluse his own severed head. There are so many complex and beautifully interwoven plots there.

I tried this.... no reflection. So.....it must be the idiots who cannot get the F-ing point I was making.

I had a Blaster based on this meme/character. It was suggested by a friend in Cosmic. I never watched its always sunny in Philadelphia.... The title really put me off for some reason.

Lets talk - The negative part of the Double XP Buff.

The beautiful thing is I do not memorize the trolls names. New or old. I take pretty much everything at face value. You say blue. I acknowledge you see blue. Your ass may be crazy but you say it is blue. The best part is most folks have almost no impact on my headspace. I rent out no room. Shit still dont look blue to me though -

There are players that will give you 20 million. There are players who will give you incredibly simple and easy steps to make millions in minutes. The cash you lose by not earning to 50 is NOTHING. Especially since the drops are most of the earning. Unless you just vendor the recipes and give away rare salvage. *facepalm. Tell me you dont do dat. I am not kidding. You want to make cash? Run a 50. They make cash. Or, if you dont want Yomo’s free 20 mil, and you dont want to learn how to make millions in minutes, turn on the double exp booster and run TFs. Earn merits. Turn these into converters. Sell those Or did you mean you want double exp, and earn cash, while you sit in someone elses farm to fifty and do not play the game? Spoken like someone who played on live when a new player was at the hard end of the fulcrum shift of we have stuff and you cant get it. Homecoming….just raise your freaking arm and it is handed to you. Of course on Homecoming people complain about having to raise their arm -

It is actually not a negative. It is quite beneficial. Listening to you whine about this truly minimal penalty brings absolute joy and amazement to me Thank you. Keep the dream alive man. -
I actually didnt see it was you I responded to until after I posted Ukase. Early morning not enough caffeine heh. I still do not think I walk on eggshells. Maybe because I truly dont give a shot about what most folks say. I thought I might be walking on eggshells once. Then I noticed I was in a china shop. And I may have knocked some things over…..
-
me too. I walk on eggshells. wait. have you read my posts? what do you consider "walking on eggshells?" Not being able to make Superman clones and/or have Xrated chat in game or on the forums? Because I suppose some would consider that "eggshells..."

Redside. Make a villain. Dont just roll a toon. Get a concept. Inspired by some Villain or Rogue. Or your own wildness. Or if a superhero was dark in a different world. Write a paragraph about what makes them tick. Break out if the Zig. Or not. Play the Arachnos game. Or get with Burke and learn how to be independent. Redside is incredible in the nuances if you pay attention. By the time you hit Cap there are huge plots. It gets wilder from there. But only if you care about plot and story. If you just “run missions” and do not read what it is about… it is slightly better than Blue. But the stories…wow….it gets deeeeeeep redside

I have the obligatory storage base. 95%+ of all my toons are in it, and no one else. It is on the biggest footprint and it is howling empty. Except for storage, telepads, and random large sculptures to fill space. Cosmic Council has a few great bases. Its main base is very detailed. But of particular interest to me is the Cosmic Council Revenant Base. Top notch work. I have seen a number of high quality bases, generally during festivities around holidays when people are doing events. There is a lot of real talent in the player base indeed.

Not trying to be Snarky (I do not have to try...) But exactly what do you mean by authenticity? Number of Players. Adherence to original game code? I disagree vehemently with about half of what the Dev staff does here. The other half I like. I wish they did more. They wish they got paid. Homecoming offers me the chance to run CoH, my favorite game, team up when I want. Badge the hardest badges with a team when I want. Is it exact issue 5? 13? 20? Are there as many players as Freedumb had at peak? For me authentic is flavor. The blood I had tonight is not the same as the blood I had 20 years ago. Do I remember it that well? Maybe. But at least I have real blood and am not looking at a drained plastic container lying in a melting igloo cooler. What is your authentic? (Was I Snarky? I can never tell anymore...)

once you learn the game and find a blast set you like on a Sentinel the transition to Blaster is much easier. For instance i have a Beam/Temporal Blaster that is my go to toon for helping on incarnate badge runs. just fly around the edge of the fight giving supporting fire.
-
A Willpower Sentinel is easy to build and easy to run. Pair it with a Power set that is Fully Ranged and F-ing play lazy as heck. Now my opinion: Sentinels SUCK at 50. But I ran a Beam Rifle Willpower Sentinel to 50 and laughed my butt off the whole time...

it doesnt matter cause hes still dead

i ran a lot of ss/will brutes on live. good combo never really bothered by sappers etc. i ran it for a year or two....

This last perf shifter still has not sold. Sales prices at 755k, 2mil, 2,5mil, 2.5mil, 4mil. Now, again, I sold 150? of these for 3.7mil+ a month ago. Now they are not worth converting to.

Thank you! I never thought about that.
