Do yourself a favor and if only for DFB, go see Null in Pocket D and go blue. Once you are done, go back and be Red to your heart's desire. Unless you want to wait around for hours to find a group that is... I swear I see 25 blue groups for every red DFB

I use it in Titan Sweep as it is my opener, the next 2 powers in sequence are Arc of Destruction and Whirling Smash. I didn't really look at ppm or anything I just wanted to make sure that the crits happen always on Arc and Whirling Smash because Arc is the hardest hitting AoE and Whirling needs an opener anyways so it doesn't make sense that it has the proc. When I translate to single target, it's less optimal but still functional, I use Titan Sweep as the opener there for the proc to benefit Follow Through and Rend Armor

2 things missing from this build : Scrapper's Strike - Recharge/Crit Bonus Critical Strikes - Recharge/50% Crit Proc These 2 frankenslots, while somewhat pricey probably around the 10mil each make SUCH a huge difference in a build. If you would have to choose just 1, I would go with the proc. That thing will skyrocket your damage. Just put it in one of your openers, preferably Titan Sweep and go ham with Whirling Smash and Arc of Destruction and what the crit tree light up ! Also once you hit 50 you will find Enhancement Catalysts as drops so you can upgrade them to purple for even more proc chance and a bigger passive crit bonus

Musculature is where it's at !! Yes there are diminishing returns when you have over 100% damage bonus on your power, but if you read the Musculature core carefully you will see that the diminishing returns are negated more and more as you level it up to T4 in which case 66% of it isn't diminished

Force of Will ? I get hated off the table every time I cast THAT spell....

Just off the cuff - it looks like you are going budget build - you could try dropping a 4 piece of Kinetic Combat into all your single target powers. Crushing Blow, Follow Through, Rend Armor and Boxing/kick (even if you don't use it, it's great to mule an IO set in it). Each 4 piece of this will get you 3.75% s/l and 1.875% melee. The set is very affordable and available on the /ah.

I still have Defensive Sweep at 50 and I don't plan on getting rid of it. 1) It help a ton with defence to help take the Alpha Strikes. 2) It is a Luck of the Gambler def/haste mule. I usually use DS at the start of fights then after the initial volley is over, I switch to Titan Sweep as my momentum builder since it does Knockdown and has a fast-ish out of momentum animation

TW/Rad should be a good choice my buddy runs the exact same thing with barely any IOs it seems to work well for him. /Rad has some good resists and good end recovery but is lacking somewhat in defence. Defence could be what you are missing in your build. Could you post what you are currently running for reference ?

Typically Corruptor will deal more damage but there are some exceptions. Some sets have -def debuffs in them (sonic) and those debuff numbers will be higher on Defender than Corruptor so in those cases the Defender will edge out the Corruptor in damage. The Corr works off a 0.750 damage scale where as the Def works off a 0.650 scale. On top of that the Corr has his crit mechanic that helps him deal more damage. So excluding certain debuff heavy sets, Corruptor in general will deal more damage on top of getting his damage abilities sooner

I still use Titan Sweep in my ST rotation as the momentum builder, probably not optimal in a strict ST sense but it's functional and it makes a good compromise so I can get the best of both worlds

I don't agree that Critical Strikes in Follow Through is a good idea at all The way I do my AoE rotation is: 1st rotation to take the Alphas Defensive Sweep > Titan Sweep > Whirling Smash > Arc of Destruction After the alpha strikes I remove Defensive Sweep from the rotation and use Titan Sweep as my momentum builder. That being said, I have Critical Strikes in Titan Sweep so that when it procs, Whirling Smash and Arc of Destruction will be the powers that benefit the most of the crit bonus When I do a ST rotation I start it with Titan Sweep as momentum builder to proc the crit bonus: Titan Sweep > Rend Armor (for -def/res) > Follow Through > Crushing Blow Not 100% sure if these rotations are THE best optimized, but I find that they work well and make sense

Agreed on this 100%, I was mentioning that ageless solves the problems in the context of the OP using the Agility Core (end mod) in his Alpha Slot !

Here's a few points, nothing major though just what I can see off the top without having access to mids right now: Hasten only needs 2 slots. You can upgrade your enhancements with Enhancement Boosters from the /ah or the merit vendor. You can add +5 to any IO, so 2x 50+5 will be sufficient to get you on the road to perma hasten. You can add that extra slot to Gamma Boost to have an extra Performance Shifter if you need extra endo when you don't have access to ageless in situations when you are exemplared. Your Alpha slot Agility Core isn't that great of a choice. Musculature is a better choice since Ageless pretty much solves any every endo problem you could possibly have Hybrid slot could be changed to Assault for more damage

Salvage from MTX = pay2win "Just Cosmetics" is a terrible idea that has been ingrained over years to be acceptable when it really isn't. Paying for cosmetics in CoH would be blasphemy considering the pride and joy people derive from their costume creations. Creating a haves and haves not situation here would be awful. If you want to charge money, let people donate - tons of people will considering the 5 seconds the donation window stays open each month

I really enjoy playing melee above ranged/support also. Seriously though, my Sonic Defender literally does nothing but follow me around... Her secondary was chosen by a dice roll and if I could have *not* put anything in there I wouldn't have because they will never be pressed one way or another lol I did it with the Sonic Defender, my buddy does it with a Robot/FF Mastermind so that he can turn the bots on aggro when he needs some help DPSing an AV or something, I could also see it being done with some sort of controller Sidenote: Having the guy on autofollow works to a certain extent. If you are fighting mobs that do a lot of aoe, or Freaks that drain endo like there's no tomorrow, the bot will often be in trouble. If you are doing +4/8 content and your second dude is following around with low-med tier enhancements, footstomping left and right, he will draw aggro real fast and die even faster. It's better to have them follow at a short distance or just fly above and out of range of aoe but in range for leadership

I don't know what your setup is like but typically playing 1 character to its fullest is a lot better than playing 2 characters half assed. You won't really be gaining any DPS if you stop playing 1 for a time to go push buttons on the other. To have a pocket that will actually contribute it really needs to do something passively. 30% -res all the time from a sonic def is a good example of something for nothing 😛

What are you planning on 2 boxing this with ? I do this on my Scrapper (tw/bio) with a pocket Sonic Defender. Depending on what you are pocketing your needs will be different: if you have a +res pocket or a +def pocket. I really like having the Sonic Defender, he gives me a ton of +res from his Sonic Barrier and Sonic Haven so it is very, very easy to cap S/L/F/C/E/N. The beauty of this bot though is the Sonic Dispersion toggle that gives a -res 30% aura around my main. I tried having the bot be in a more active role at the beginning but I quickly realized that I am not gaining anything since it ruins the attack chain on the main character so the -res toggle is the best thing I could have him do that helps on damage without drawing any aggro. All the bot does is 3 Leadership toggles and Sonic Dispersion. He also has Victory Rush which I can hit once in a while but I do it less and less now that I can push Ageless. Other than that, he just sits behind his Invisibility and flies over the mobs to provide his leadership auras. Disruption Field is not used much because I try to keep him out of range of collateral damage. As a side note, it's possible to 3 box on one machine (allowed as per the rules page). The 3rd account, in this scenario usually just stays at the entrance of whatever I am doing with his scrren minimized or in longer TFs just comes inside the actual mission on the last part before the rewards. The main purpose of this 3rd wheel is to come along the various TFs that I solo and get me 3x the merit points at the end of them ( This team does Penny Yin for example in 36 mins )

It's a global recharge speed buff, not just for the power it's slotted in and not just when the power is toggled on. Also even though these are budget builds, you can still get 2x Performance Shifter end proc in Inexhaustible and Stamina and Numina's end proc in Health. No reason so forego these IOs for any budget. I would cut basically anything for the build before I cut those out. ESPECIALLY considering the endo hog that TW is
