  1. I agree, I have very little interest in WoW Classic. The only period I really enjoyed in WoW was the Lich King era. After that they bastardized the game so hard that the game practically plays itself. Cheers to CoH !
  2. Titan Weapon scrapper is so fun, it's not a set for everyone though. It has the whole momentum mechanic that some people can't stand but the damage and AoE that it dishes out is top notch. I personally run it TW/Bio for the +25% damage you get from /Bio. That being said /Bio isn't the most harmonious pairing with TW because you need to be pressing your "don't die" buttons which sometimes makes you waste your momentum window (until you get properly IOd anyway), but it still works very well.
  3. Yeah, two of my buds are already on something else. One is playing the new stuff in monster hunter and another went over to WoW classic
  4. Most of the secondary sets are a lot different on Sentinel than on other ATs, it's not only limited to /SR. One that I have noticed is a lot different on Stalkers is Staff/ it takes away the whole stance switching mechanic and leaves you always in offensive stance (or whatever it's called)
  5. Same feeling here !!! I found this, set it up and played it a bit before telling my other buddies about it (wanted to make sure it was legit) and at first they didn't believe me, but oh boy the fun we are having here together now !!
  6. I can squeeze out 4 attacks when in Momentum. Not 100% sure how long Momentum lasts but I think its 5 seconds so that would make them 1.25sec animations
  7. Jacob's ladder is a very narrow cone, almost more like a line, like when the animation happens and your guy brings his arms up, that's basically the width of the attack. The trick to get it to hit multiple targets is to try and target something behind whatever you were wanting to hit with it. Honestly though, I just treat it like a single target attack that sometimes hits some extra targets as bonus
  8. You're right, he is more of a finesse type, I'll look into maybe making him SR. But Dual-Blades for sure !

    Elec/Sh

Also, if you make it as a Stalker you can telenuke without unstealthing afterwards which is oodles of fun
  10. Every set can shine with the proper IO setup though so that doesn't say much about /regen
  11. I was going to make one as my next character XD But he is not going to be a dark/ or /dark anything since Drizzt is a Ranger. I know he can cast some racial cantrip level darkness orb spell and fairy fire but I don't think it's core to his persona. I was thinking a Dual Blade/Invul or /Willpower Brute would fit in more with his aesthetic, how he becomes "The Hunter" when he goes into his "lets cut up 50 goblins" mode in the books
  12. I'm leaning towards C because I have never seen it proc twice in a row. This is just personal experience and is in no way rigorously tested

    WM/SD

That really only depends on your play style. The thing with Brute is that if you let your fury bar run out, you are severely gimped for a while until you charge it back up. Scrappers have less health and resist caps, but the damage will always be constant
  14. Most of the defensive sets are better than /regen. I would totally go with /WP if you were hesitating between the two
  15. I hope you didn't delete him though. You can rename any character from the character select screen, so just rename the "dead" one and name the new one with the proper name. Also there are 1000 character slots per server so no need to delete from that perspective either
  16. On the bright side, you can get Enhancement Unslotters to pass those IOs onto other characters or flip them on the /ah now !

    /regen

Ok, well since /regen is only better for.... one encounter ? I will stand by my statement and say that regen is lacking and bio does 99% of things better
  18. Seigmoraig

    /regen

Other than the rez which you can get a cookie that does the same thing, what does regen do better then bio ? Only real difference that I can see would be in the Instant Healing clicky which is reflected somewhat in Defensive Adaptation in Bio. Other than that,, you have the same amounts of clickies to stay alive (Ablative Carapace / DNA Siphon for Bio and Dull Pain / Reconstruction for Regen) and a long cooldown clicky for when it hits the fan in both. Just curious as to what Regen does more than Bio and why you would want to forego the offensive and efficient adaptations you can toggle in Bio
  19. The one that is closest up to date is paragonwiki as it is being actively worked on. I can't find the thread right now as I am at work, but one of the mods suggested that we use this one over the wikia one
  20. Same here, I run a TW/Bio and I have more than enough stuff to take care of between all the attacks from TW and the /Bio clickies, there just isn't any room in the rotation to put in an extra AoE considering there are already 3 cones and a PBAoE

    /regen

If you like having buttons to press, I don't even understand why people play /regen over /Bio. Bio Armor does everything Regen does but better. Just turn on the minimum FX to get rid of the lobster legs and it's great

    Staff & Dark

For Knockback protection, a single IO is usually lacking because the mag it offers is middling. It is fine for ranged types, but for melee you really need to pair it with Steadfast Protection to bring that KB protection to a respectable level. I would avoid Acrobatics because not only does it waste a power, it doesn't bring much to the table for the end it costs. Once you get Miracle, Numina's and Performance Shifter you should be good on the end drain department, but if you still are in trouble you would need to add extra slots to stamina or find some set bonuses from IOs that give +recovery as I am not sure scrappers can get Energy Mastery epic pool (maybe they can but on the wiki it's not there but these aren't 100% accurate to the custom changes on homecoming)
  23. I would stay far away from Focused Accuracy, all it does really is drain end for no real gain except in very specific situations where you get debuffed but you could also just pop some yellow candies and have the same result without the massive end drain and a useless power. Superior Conditioning and Physical Perfection are the only 2 powers you need in Energy Mastery. Aid Self is pretty bad because it is not usable in combat since it is interruptible unless you go all the way down the list to get Field Medic
  24. If you want to be super fast all the time even in combat, you should make a /kin character. It won't be a tanker but /kin gives you the speed boost which lasts while in combat
  25. Rad and Spines are very similar in power level, but honestly having played both (32+ not to 50) Rad is much more fun to play. The rotation feels much better IMO. Rad feels a lot like a "fixed" electric melee, only without Lightning Rod. There is a power that looks a lot like Jacob's Ladder and one that looks a lot like Thunder Strike except the animations are MUCH faster to execute. Maybe I just really don't like using Ripper, maybe rad is more fun to me but at the end of the day both will get you there
