  1. Rad and Spines are very similar in power level, but honestly having played both (32+ not to 50) Rad is much more fun to play. The rotation feels much better IMO. Rad feels a lot like a "fixed" electric melee, only without Lightning Rod. There is a power that looks a lot like Jacob's Ladder and one that looks a lot like Thunder Strike except the animations are MUCH faster to execute. Maybe I just really don't like using Ripper, maybe rad is more fun to me but at the end of the day both will get you there
  2. Windows 10 runs....everything better. Win7 even has an issue, i hear from my friends where it takes minutes to log out to character select, it takes me 2 seconds to do that on Win10.
  3. I got a Regen scrapper to level 32 as one of my first characters. Regen is....lacking. It used to be the most OP defensive set but it got nerfed to oblivion. If you like having a defensive set with lots of clickies, I would suggest you play Bio Armor (make sure you put minimum FX in the builder because its UGLY). It is a very similar set, it does everything regen does but better AND it has a +25% damage boost from it's offensive stance.

    TW/RAD

From what I gather with the FF in kick, it's more of a thing you press when your recharge is debuffed to hope you get a lucky 10% proc to help you get back on your feet, not something you use in your active rotation. Since you are getting the power anyway for tough/weave you might as well try to get a little something out of it

    TW/RAD

Defensive Sweep depends on your secondary really, since it gives +def during the animation it would depend a lot on where you are on your def cap progress and if your secondary is res based or def based. My TW character isn't max level yet so Defensive Sweep is very useful, I mean since i'm going to wind up for momentum, I might as well get +def while it's winding up
  6. I started my rad/fire brute last weekend. I was able to solo 6 player comicon farm at level 28. Basically as soon as you get Burn you are good. I paired it with a Sonic/ Defender bot for the -res aura and it works like a charm. ESPECIALLY now that they changed Invisibility to no longer only affect self, the bot can just sit out of aoe range and provide buffs all night long 😄

    Psi/ Brute

I wish Psi Melee would have mouth noises when the guy executes those over the top arm waves woowoowoowoowoo wawawawawa
  8. All AT combinations are viable, some take a bit more work to get to par on defence caps ( /fire). I think it's more of a question of what do you want to get out of your character. Unless you want to run farms or do mostly single target things, I'm pretty sure it's all at least in the "viable" category
  9. While I haven't played those sets individually, I have played them seperately. I'm currently playing a Rad/Fire brute for fire farm and a TW/Bio scrapper. Rad/ is nice because you get to spread contamination around which makes your single target attacks proc an aoe which spreads MAOR contamination around, yay ! Also boasts a damage aura and some pretty nice AoE attacks in the later part of the set. /Bio is one of my favorite defence sets to play (along with /Shield Defence), but it's not for everyone because it is very clicky heavy. You get a shield clicky which gives +regen (ablative) . Next you have DNA Siphon which drains end and gives you a massive boost to end recovery depending on how many targets you hit. The ult, Parasitic Aura is kind of Ablative Armor and DNA Siphon combined. You also get a damage aura which stacks with the Rad/ one. The best part of /Bio is that you get 3 stances, Adapation, which allow you to do different things better. Until you get your caps sorted out it's best to stay in Defensive Adaptation when soloing, once that is sorted out though you can easily solo with Offensive Form (25% damage, +7% tohit) or Efficient Form (+regen/recovery) depending on your end consumption. Playing as Titan Weapon myself, which is very end hungry (eats about half a bar of end to use all 4 AoEs back to back in momentum), I don't even need to be in efficient form because DNA Siphon gives back so much end. Also unless you like looking like a crablobstermonstermutantthing, you might want to toggle the minimal fx setting in the costume builder
  10. The main difference will be that the blaster has more damage potential than corrupter with aim/build up. But honestly I find the support that the corrupter brings to the table more than makes up for the lack of build up. Especially if you are running secondary that has some good buffs in it
  11. My Scrapper is the ultimate smallest character possible with an edited costume file from the surgeon to set the height to -35. Her name is Tsite and only French Canadians will get it
  12. Very good, I will try that out tonight, thanks !
  13. I really like using this key combination to make my character move forwards but after you hold it for a few seconds it locks into auto-run. Is there a way to disable this function ? In my keymappings my auto-run has only 1 toggle set but it still does it. Thanks

    War Mace?

I have a WM/WP Brute and it does really well. One thing to note from the above post is that War Mace has 3 AoE attacks. Whirling Mace and Crowd Control are tagged as being AoE but Shatter is also a Cone but it's a really narrow cone similar to Jacob's Ladder from Electric Melee or Sands of Mu. As long as you line up the mobs properly you can pretty easily hit 3 targets with Shatter.
  15. No he said "You can skip either Swipe or Strike, but not both. "
  16. I really enjoy playing War Mace/Willpower and my newest is a Titan Weapon/Bio Armor which is real strong too. I like it when it goes POW POW and the enemies fall on their asses XD
  17. Greetings, While I don't have any specifics for you, you can check out the various other AT forums for builds, particularily the Pylon thread in the Scrapper section, there is a particularly strong TW/Bio entry
  18. You can't skip both of the level 1 powers !
  19. I'll stick to eating my blue cookies in those situations instead of hoping on a 10% thing. At least you don't need to spend any powers or slots on this, just a bit of money on an enhancement
  20. But it's a 10% proc, if you are full recharge debuffed, im pretty sure you there are better things to do with your remaining endo than try to proc a 10% thing off a useless move
  21. How does Stalker do with Resist based secondaries ? I recently started a Staff/Rad and I was having a lot of trouble soloing with it. Honestly though I'm pretty sure my problem is being level 15 with no enhancements.... That being said will /rad be a good choice for a stalker ?
  22. Doesn't having a Force Feedback proc in your Kick imply that you want to actually use kick to get that proc off ??
  23. You should pick your travel power earlier in the build, it's not major but when you do lower level content (weekly TF etc) you will not have access to the travel power. Also you might want to reconsider taking Resurgence since the power can literally be replaced by an inspiration
