  1. I like to use the Critical Strikes proc in my opening move or the move I use the most often in my rotation. Basically you put it in a move you use a lot but that you don't mind if it crits less, it's the ones after that move that will get the crit benefits Unless you plan on doing exclusively post level 50 content you should try to get your basics (soft cap def, cap resist and perma haste) without relying on Alphas
  2. The only skippable power in /FA is the self rez Rise of the Phoenix as you can just eat some inspirations (rez/break free) or you can buy a self rez power for 1,000,000 inf from the P2W vendor. Temperature protection is one of the powers that will organically get you to the 90% fire resist cap. Never skip any toggles or auto powers from defensive sets except if you have a super end game billion inf build. In the leadership pool, Maneuvers is very important for a /FA character because you don't naturally have any +Def powers and you will need this power to mule a Luck of the Gambler at minimum if not slot in some other 5/6 piece Defence sets. I would even say that Maneuvers is a must have an ANY character as these Def bonuses stack up together across the whole team. Other power pools that are good to get are Tough and Weave from the Fighting pool, most builds across all archtypes will use these 2 powers. Haste from the Speed pool is another all star that almost everyone gets at some point in their build, with the aforementioned Luck of the Gambler IO ( Defence/Global Recharge Speed ) slotted everywhere it will fit in your build will get your Haste power permanent. Your last power pool could be for your Travel Power if you choose to use one, I get by just fine with the free travel powers available at the P2W Vendor: Ninja/Beast run + Sprint with the 5000 inf jetpacks. Once you get to epic power pool levels (35) the Mu Patron pool for Spines/FA builds (and mostly all farming builds) is very good, you get an AoE root and AoE nuke powers that have short animation times.
  3. Looks like you need to roll 2 new toons XD My first pick when the tanker changes hit will be a DM/SD for sure !
  4. Dark Melee is a great pairing for SD because it offers some healing ability. SD's only problem IMO is it's lack of healing and endurance, DM covers both of these. Both sets also offer some +dmg which is always nice to have on a Tanker
  5. I'm rolling it because I don't like to play Spines and I already have a Rad Melee, I just wanted to try something different and at the same time it seems to do well in farms !
  6. Ahh thanks I was looking for this thread in the brute forums, no wonder I couldn't find it !
  7. What would be a good attack rotation to use for a Savage Melee / Fire farmer ?
  8. /Nature is really fun on Masterminds. Only thing of note is to try and keep your pets in your garden patch spell, make sure you herd them back in if they wander off
  9. Redside is so much better IMO than blue. However since EVERYBODY plays blue, that's where I am. Thankfully it's easy to switch from one side to the other with Null the Gull in Pocket D for when I want to go to the dark side
  10. Ahh my Arch nemesis. This battle has been won, but the War still rages, I shall return for my vengeance !!! *Geodood ponderously waddles away shaking his fist*
  11. It's possible to stack every movespeed IO set bonus possible and get to a "manageable" level when in boulder mode. Problem is you still need to use teleport if you want to move up a small ledge
  12. The changes are noted here. Nothing final yet but you can log onto the test server right now and see it for yourself Here is the original (now locked) thread with the first wave of changes
  13. Now you can has toast pillow too ! https://thepurrshop.com/products/toast-bread-cat-bed
  14. Have a look at this page here: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Controller On the right side of the page you can see a Modifiers (At level 50) section where you can see the various modifiers for the Controller class. You can compare those to the ones on the Defender page. Also Dominators can't have the Radiation Emission set. It is only available to Defenders, Corruptors, Controllers and Masterminds
  15. Just try it and see if it works for you. If not just go back to the costume lady and change it back !
  16. You can try running HP's software for updating called HP Image Assistant. It works a lot better than HP Support Assistant that comes bundled with most systems. I use this to update laptops at work and it does the Intel Graphics drivers. Just install it, click Analyze and it will auto detect the hardware you are using. Then select all the drivers you want to install from the Recommendations Tab After you have selected the desired drivers click Download and in the popup box that will appear choose the "Download Softpaq(s), extract files, and install" option and it will auto install the drivers for you. If the leave it at the first option it will only download them and you need to install everything manually https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HPIA.html Hope this helps !!
  17. Sorry I shouldn't have tagged you in that it was uncalled for, I'm just feeling dickish today i guess
  18. But..but...but what about MEEEEE 99% of people hate KB powers and it annoys them to play with people who abuse them. The solution is making a KD to KB enhancement. Every power that is currently Knockback should be changed to Knockdown and Sudden Acceleration should give powers Knockback, not the other way around
  19. Wow for some reason I read too fast and misread DM as MA ! disregard my above post hehe, DM has great AoE capabilities !!
  20. I would highly recommend looking into an AoE capable set if this is your first experience and come back to the Single Target builds later. 95% of what you will be doing in this game is AoE. ST is mostly in the end game when/if you want to solo Arch Villians and such, in group play it is rarely relevant to have exceptionally good single target. If you are set on the single target route, I would recommend switching to Stalker as they have by far the most capacity to completely obliterate boss class enemies in a single hit with their assassin strike, and stealth mechanics
  21. The main difference is that Spines has the aura (quills), the pbaoe (spine burst), and 2 cones (ripper and throw spines) compared to SS having only one pbaoe attack. Not that it's not doable with SS, just that it's not as efficient
  22. The full Superior Scrapper Strikes set bonuses are really good though
  23. Depending on how many tokens you want to include in your system, the simplest form of this could be playing cards of the Poker variety, you have 4 different types with numerical values 1 to 13. If you need 5 types of tokens, you can turn instead to Magic: The Gathering's 5 land types, these don't have numerical values but dice can be used for that. If you need more than 5 types, you can instead turn to the Pokémon TCG which has 9 Energy type cards. The Pokémon cards are possibly best suited for this as the cards don't have any text on them and are mostly uniform from set to set and they all have an element pictured on them.
  24. Have you considered making this with GURPS, the "Generic Universal Roleplaying System" ? Seems to me that you would have a much easier time translating the game to that system than to try to hammer it into a DnD 5e mold Just my 2 inf though !
  25. In case you didn't know, the amount of debris you can see is tied to your graphics settings. If you want MORE STUFF crank up the Particle Physics sliders to max !
