  1. I have been watching the mind good/bad debate for more than a year. Now, that we can stream again. Maybe a video of Mind Control is action would help clear the air. Someone could run the Trapdoor test and post their video. One of the runs recorded is a fire/fire/fire dom with a good sub 6 min run.
  2. Alas, I did not sorry. It something I hope the devs get around too with the give VEATs no-redraw.
  3. Use a friend or pocket kinetics to put Inertial Reduction and Speed Boost on you. You should be able to get the badges with that and a bit a practice. Not 32 seconds though. 🙂
  4. I guess the thing I was most surprised was that Night Widow and Fortunata single target was very close. Just thought Slash would make more of a difference.
  5. Thought while watching them. Rad melee is a monster. I wish I liked the animations more. Fire is also a monster. I feel alt-ist coming on. 🙂 The balance of single vs AOE is very nice on Battle Axe. You 6 shot Trapdoor with Axe, where Energy Melee took 5 shots. As for the widows. I underestimated the damage potential of dominate. The AOE difference is, as expected, is huge with Forts and Night Widows. The single target parity was disappointing. I thought Night Widow would have a noticeable advantage due to slash. Lovely videos, much to learn. Savage/Fire/Axe looked like fun. Side note, when trapdoor runs. If you run in front of him, he'll stop for a bit before running another direction. It helps keep him on the platform.
  6. I am surprised @Saint Nick did come here to post that we beat 801.F on Thursday the 13th. I do think his tanking was a great part of it. Can't wait till your next tweak or 801.G @Linea
  7. First this is not my work. @Kanil has put a lot of effort testing lots of builds. He should get the credit. There is this thread in the scrapper forum. The second best time was a Fortunta build. Better than a lot of scrapper builds. The build is there in the thread. Even more interesting, now that streaming is allowed again. Here is the complete playlist of @Kanil run. Includes both the Fort and Night Widow runs. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRcxfxypPPGjsGMnEwDzswMxGqKDniZcl A few notes, Obvious, these builds are optimized for 50 incarnate content. A was surprised by the lack of melee attacks on the Fort. It's basically, Follow up, Lunge, Dominate, Gloom, with AOE. Considering the folks complaining about ranged damage, this should be interesting to watch. Not surprisingly, the lack of a nuke really hurts the Night Widow times.
  8. Now, that we can stream again. It would be great is from folks to record their runs. I must confess, my times suck compared to the good times. My Fort is no near as fast @Kanil I love to see the difference. Or any sub 6 mins build.
  9. I have been trying to decide on a build that uses dark armor. I thought I would try this one, because of the end reduction power in staff. I pieced this together by looking at separate staff and dark armor power. So, there's bound to be some weirdness. Softcapped melee/lethal with one Guardian Spin. Good resists exception energy/toxic as expected. High level staff folks, are you enjoying the set? What are the pluses and minuses?
  10. My understanding and I have not seen different playing. Sleep does not have any negative effect on your other status protection. As long as the power is running you get the full protection even if you are slept. You can get hit with 2 holds while sleeping and as long as they don't exceed the protection value you're fine. Damage resistance is applied to each attack, if you have 20% resistance across the board any and all attacks will have 20% subtracted from the total before they land. It does not matter if the attacks come in quickly. The resistance value will be subtracted from each hit. To be clear, sonic resonance doesn't have psi resists. Just trying to give an example.
  11. Your status does not drop if you get slept. Status defense toggles to do not drop unless you run out of endurance. I am sure there is an exception somewhere, but not in Sonic Resonance. Now, disruption field, enflame, and spirit ward will drop if you are slept.
  12. I would also suggest this method. You have to do quite a few safeguard and mayhem missions for all the necessary badges. Just make a stop by the police station each run. In Mayhem missions you get a ally for a bit from one of the cells. These missions are also a good way to work on the sapper badge. At least, with the PI map.
  13. Arcane Bolt wasn't too hard on my Bane build. I even have it on a Night Widow build on the beta server. I wanted to test Enflame out as extra AOE. AB is good for tagging runners and provides from energy damage for lethal, smash, or psi resistant targets. Now, slotted out spirit ward on my defender is amazing protection. A full Preventative Medicine set will give the target a 40% absorb shield that constantly rebuilds itself.
  14. Enflame causes an fire damage patch to drop from the target every few seconds. Any -resist power that hits mobs in the patch will cause the take more damage due to lower fire resists. As for Liquefy, I was just trying to get it up as often as possible. My slotting is just a guess.
  15. One psychological benefit of Enflame is seeing a direct benefit to my debuffs. Flame ticking along at 8 points. Howl, now they are ticking at 10 points. Resist debuff is really helpful, but hard to see the result directly.
  16. Thank you @UberGuy and @Bionic_Flea. I think I figured it out. Arachnos have the base modifier of 1.0 melee and 1.0 range. Blasters have the base modifier of 1.125 range. 5.561 * 1.125 = 6.2561 So, the pseudo base damage for Enflame is 5.561. At least, that is a way to think of it. Another example, controller range damage is .55. 5.561 * .55 = 3.0586
  17. Ignore, reading comp issues by me.
  18. I tried with team tp a few days ago and it didn't work. I had hopes of moving my mortars long with the team.
  19. We were discussing Enflame in a thread and @Carnifax provided this link. You have to pull up the pet version of the power to get the base damage. Blasters get the most damage, MM and controllers the worst. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=pets.enflame.enflame&at=minion_pets
  20. This is a NOT a perfect solution, but you can use binds to keep switching the auto fire between hasten and dom.
  21. I agree as long as it's optional. The new Sorcery:Arcane Bolt puts a big red message in the middle of the screen when the build up proc fires. So, the mechanic is there in the code.
  22. You might want to open a bug. The last patch might have broken something or they didn't fix all the use cases. From the patch notes: Fixed a bug that would cause some oddities while running various stance-setting powers (like Ninja Run + Power Slide)
  23. Also, there is a inherent walk power that the devs have been modifying in recent patches. That might be too slow, but mentioning it.
