Biaxil Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Is there anything to do with a character after you finish your incarnates?
Call Me Awesome Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Keep playing and running high level TF's, Incarnate Trials, exemp down for lower level content, basically the same as you did on the way up. 1 Guardian Survivor, occasional tanker and player of most AT's. Guides: Invulnerability Tankers, The first 20 levels. Invulnerability Tankers Soft Cap defense Spoiler
Oubliette_Red Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Roll another character. 2 Dislike certain sounds? Silence/Modify specific sounds. Looking for modified whole powerset sfx? Check out Michiyo's modder or Solerverse's thread. Got a punny character? You should share it.
Septipheran Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Once your incarnates and accolades are all done, you can start playing the game! Test your build capabilities, optimize your attack chain, solo TF's, collect badges. The world is now your oyster. Have fun! 😎 4
Bill Z Bubba Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 1000 slots per server. Don't forget to also get the buff accolades.

roleki Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Get accolades, badge it out, tweak your build for maximum X, create an alternate build, Ouro into interesting arcs, run TFs/Raids, explore AE, farm up inf for alts, try your hand at PvP, run PI radio teams like a madman... There's all sorts of stuff to do once you think you've done everything. I don't think anyone can say they have done EVERYTHING CoH has to offer. 1 Anything you can have, we have it. Even got a devil in the attic.

Absolutely this! 👆 Most folks that complain that there is nothing left to do, really mean they have done the things they are familiar with over, and over again, and become bored. But, I would wager most of them typically don't actually explore all that the game actually has to offer. Especially considering that there are three different places (Paragon City, Pretoria, and the Rogue Isles), each with huge amounts of content. The Red side is hardly touched by most, and Pretoria even less so. If one wished, they could explore a combination of those three worlds, and find things they have likely never seen. Now, obviously that doesn't apply across the board. There are those that have literally done it all. But, that is a rarity compared to the numbers that complain about the lack of content. 2 What was no more, is REBORN!

Solo high level Task Forces, including Master runs if possible. I've also found that Silver Mantis, Ghost Widow, and Lord Recluse are good yardsticks to measure a character's abilities if they are AVs and you don't use inspirations. Those Silver Mantis debuffs are no joke. 1 The Trevor Project

Yeah Silver Mantis on the MLTF is a HUGE pain in the backside since I swear Impale and Spine Burst are typed as Toxic and not lethal/toxic. She is honestly the only one out of the villain rookie squad that ever gives my characters trouble. Though I have yet to fight her with my Psi/Bio character...should be interesting.
Shred Monkey Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I mostly just roam the earth punching stuff and looking cool. But I have noticed badge hunting is very popular and requires literally hundreds of hours worth of endgame play. 1 Active on Excelsior: Prismatic Monkey - Seismic / Martial Blaster, Shadow Dragon Monkey - Staff / Dark Brute, Murder Robot Monkey - Arachnos Night Widow

I had to like this post mostly because I run max diff kill most ITFs regardless of the fact that I'm already T4ed, perfectly built and max vet lvl. I do it because I love the killin. 2 1
Without_Pause Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Kill moar Skuls. I'm two characters away from having all of the characters which I want to play after hitting 50 at 50. I'll work on badges and accolades along with planning out builds and incarnate stuff. I fully accept at some point I'll have the few builds I care about "finished" and still play them. I remember back on Live people played their mains simply because they enjoyed doing so so much. After playing so long on Live and figuring out what I like to play, I would just prefer the builds I like the best and just play those. If something else comes along, fine, but I'm not busting my butt to recreate my habit of 40+ characters. Just because a character is set, doesn't mean they are done. 1 Top 10 Most Fun 50s. 1. Without Mercy: Claws/ea Scrapper. 2. Outsmart: Fort 3. Sneakers: Stj/ea Stalker. 4. Emma Strange: Ill/dark Controller. 5. Project Next: Ice/stone Brute. 6. Waterpark: Water/temp Blaster. 6. Mighty Matt: Rad/bio Brute. 7. Without Hesitation: Claws/sr Scrapper. 8. Within Reach: Axe/stone Brute. 9. Without Pause: Claws/wp Brute. 10. Chasing Fireworks: Fire/time Controller. MunkiLord Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I have a goal of destroying Carnies at +4x8 with my Dark/Earth Dom. I can do +2x8, but it's a bit slow. I'll get there eventually. The Trevor Project
