I don't watch people play computer game.  But we started watching Tabletop and watched people playing board games.  It's pretty fun to watch.

Then I started watching people play RPGs.  Relics and Rarities is a great D&D campaign.  We've watched several others.

I’ve never watched people play video games. Never really had any interest in doing so.

I did however discover Critical Role a couple months ago and have been watching that. Despite being into fantasy and sci-fi my whole life I never explored Dungeons & Dragons. This show however is amazing and makes me really interested in the age old RPG. Best way I can describe it like watching an audio book.

I watch some Video game that are turned into a sort of Cutscene/important gameplay movie

Saves me money for games / I don't own any consoles / my computer isn't the newest / etc.

A really good one I watched recently ..

I highly recommend Relics and Rarities.  Same thing as Critical Role but only 12 hours long.

I only have a few channels I watch but yes. Cinemassacre (wish they'd start playing games again), Neebs Gaming and SNESDrunk mostly. I don't watch Twitch streams.

 Usually, once a week, I'll hunt COH on YouTube and filter by "within the last week".  I'll watch COH videos that way, which I presume are with the other COH efforts out there, though I do occasionally stumble across one which clearly violates Homecoming's posting policy.  I find them mildly entertaining, or often frustrating as I watch some that should be a well-oiled machine by now stumble along well into their 20s.    I sometimes get inspiration or a new tactic from watching these.

A Link to the Past: Randomizer races. A new spin on a loved classic. I have also rolled a few seeds and played them myself. No where near as fast as the runners beat them, but puzzles solved, nonetheless.

Mostly on Torchbearer, but if you ever see me on, feel free to say hello!

Astral.Kai - Peacebringer; Dark.Enforcer - Dark/Shield Scrapper; Spark.Enforcer - Electrical/Shield Scrapper; Shadow.Reign - Dark/Regen Brute;

Glitter - Warshade;

And others to be added as I get them up to snuff, lol!

I can't watch more than a few minutes of any particular game. My YouTube viewing is limited mostly to mechanical repair guides (auto and appliance) or techie/gadget reviews. Occasionally I watch people repair handheld consoles. But I'm not really into watching someone stream live gaming or posting of gameplay after the fact. Just not for me.

I do not like to watch other people playing games, computer or otherwise.

I usually watch a person play a bit of a game before I buy it myself.

I also watch some Youtubers/Twich streamers off and on, whenever they are playing a game that interest me, or there is a new release/DLC. These are usually people much more skilled at the game than I am, where I hope to learn something, get some inspiration, or find the way they tell stories/play the game interesting.

A few examples:

DDRJake: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8b4hCq0aHQbl0v2il0tR_A  Especially his Paradox content. He also has unwatchable stuff, but some of his games are the best strategy gameplay I have ever seen. A quarter of a million people have watched his world conquest as Ryukyu/Okinawa, all 68 hours of it.

Etho: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFKDEp9si4RmHFWJW1vYsMA  Because he is just the best Canadian in the world.

The Mighty Jingles:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpnjlvS2zxhbNJuGNo_TxkQ  For his humour.

Quill18:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbx1TZgxfIauUZyPuBzEwZg  For the hats, inspiration and variation.

I am not sure if Kruggsmash counts: https://www.youtube.com/user/kruggsmash   But his stories in Dwarf Fortress are very good.

The only games I watch are Minecraft builders for ideas and the other is to support Stream Raiders since I worked in the past with several of the devs that created it. If you've not heard of it, Stream Raiders allows viewers to play in a browser-based game alongside the streamer they're watching, for streamers (Stream Captains) they can play quest maps or PvP with their followers lending a hand in the fight and is intended to be played in just a few minutes, so during loading screens or down time.
