Can you get fire armor capped to most resists?

I'm dusting off an old Fire/Fire scrapper (lvl 26) and it needs a respec and some IOs. Playing in Mids I can only get most resists up to about 50% (except Fire which is way beyond cap).

Anyone have a Fire/Fire build that gets most types closer to 75%?

Would require some exchange over to Fire Melee, but it can translate. Bit short on E/N, but there's a few spots that can quickly be rotated to get it, so it's not impossible, just wasn't part of this attached build's goal.

Here's a fairly "brute force" setup.
I make no warranties that this will be a truly PLAYABLE setup.

Just, mathematically, it's fairly close to "good as it gets" if you basic premise is a WORKABLE high-Resist Scrapper
It may not be "totally maxed"

But it gets you truly respectable numbers in regular play with a pair of crashless "God Mode" powers to kick you into OMGWTFBBQ! territory.

Just remember that Scrappers don't have the HP or higher Resist limits of Tanks, so there are constraints on top-end performance.

That's how I live on my Electric Armor Scrapper, I'm sure a Fire Armor would do it better, seeing as you have not only Healing Flames, but Phoenix Rising to use as a heal...it's not just a self rez anymore.

I took your build to see what else I could squeeze out of it. I was able to get S/L/E/N to 75% (you already had Fire easily to that mark).  Also buffed up the Toxic and Psi resistance a little bit. When RoP is on, you will be capped at Cold and Psi, with Toxic being really close at 72%. I also removed Assault and Cremate for Build Up and Energy Torrent. Below I'll share a screenshot of the tweaks as well as a comparison of the totals.


EDIT: I didn't realize the toxic resistance in healing flames stacks, so you can easily get Toxic resistance to 75% as well.

If you want a fire scrapper that's good, take the bopper build above, shave resists down to 70% (the amount of slot-efficiency it costs to go from 70% to 75% resists on scraps is pretty heavy), rely on barrier for the last 5%, and take a better epic with actually good attacks - say one of the meta standbys, like soul. This will produce more dps and more survivability due to things like barrier and shadowmeld's defense bonuses synergizing effectively with your resists as alpha absorbers.
