I simply pointed out among other things that a light show (taking his advice on the ground) slows down that process.

/noparticles is a huge help with that.  I'll be the first person to say that the game is absolutely polluted with way too much VFX vomit in team content, but I don't see it being an issue for clicking buttons to re-summon henchman and buff them.  You could always move off the field of battle to find a clear spot as well.

I see your Spoc and raise you a Picard.  Like Picard, if there is way to let both sides have what they want, that's the correct choice.

Sisko would've just blown them all to bits.  That's why he was more awesome.

There's a fine line between a numerator and a denominator but only a fraction of people understand that.

Team leader kicking fold space users off the team would make my day!

I take fold space sometimes, usually on my MM or my Crabby. When I use it I make sure to plant my butt next to the tank, or look for opportunities to pull more things into the aoe from the dps.

Personally, I consider pulling mobs away from the tanker to be poor form. There are a few neat uses though. I like dropping an Omega Maneuver which taunts, then use fold space to pull more things in.

My biggest gripe about fold space is its random targeting. Sometimes it hits things already on the tank, sometimes it hits things far away. Seems a bit random. I wish there was a bit more control, as in you could select a group or area to affect. That would allow for much more precision and control of what it affects.

I think I agree with Shortguy, at least partially.

Now I want to make a character with Group Fly AND Fold Space, make my team float up with Group Fly then use Fold Space and make them try to hit the enemies as they fall.

Sounds like fun!

Add the Levitate + Telekinesis yo-yo so you can do it more often.

And mod the sounds so there's some Boiyoiyoiyoing.

make sure you have whirlwind and repel active on your energy blast/kin corrupter so you can fold space them into the air and then scatter them as far as possible

I see a lot of tankers trying to scrapper lock off alone in some corner. No way I am foldspacing mobs to them, or expecting someone else to do it.

Frankly, a lot of people seem to have a poor situational awareness of the local map geometry and where the mobs are within it, and it can be frustrating when they act foolishly on this whether they're a tanker or someone with foldspace, or are both, or neither.

If you do this with Forcefields, you can add in Detention Field too, to just to heighten your team's desire to kick you.

You were on their team.
If the team leader asks  you to do something, you might want to consider that you are on their team and that you are not the only person on that team.

The Leader has the "boot" for a reason.

If you want to avoid getting booted, lead teams yourself. Then you can decide to boot or not.

I know for myself, that I give multiple warnings before I boot any one from a team.

I don't think I have booted even 5 players from a team over the years that I have been playing on Homecoming.

Honestly, if your group fly wasn't causing issues to other players, I wouldn't care.

If it was disruptive to me and/or any of the rest of the team, I would have asked you to turn it off and booted you if you didn't.

Yes, your time is important, but so is the time of all the other players on the team.

As I said, if you don't want to get booted, lead teams yourself or listen to the team leader.

its like going into someone elses house and smoking. If they ask you to stop, you had better stop. Yes, it is legal. But it is their house. Yes, they could buy an air filter, but that is not a choice you get to make for them. I have kicked only a couple of people from TFs over the years. One was a storm controller that insisted on standing next to our stone tank using hurricane. Had all sort of "reasons" why he should. He thought it was funny that it was unwelcome. He got upset when he got kicked. Now that was funny.

I go there for what I need. I so rarely ever encounter GF to even be bothered to go get it fixed. I might encounter it once a quarter, but that's vastly because I solo a lot unless I do a TF. I rarely PuG. I know GF is annoying. It is why I am respectful of the players I team with. Odd how this thread wouldn't exists if the OP did the same.

I play with my wife, who has several MMs. I dont want to turn off GF with her. I also never run characters with her that are effected. The null change would effect my gameplay, so the OP solution wont work. Kick on!
