Fellow heroes and villains that are being discouraged playing due to dwindling numbers. I am NEVER leaving. This game as old as it is stands far in front as my go to for gaming at core. Yes I try new games and old CoH still is my go to when the dust settles. To get to the point I'm working 3x harder to pay my bills so less time to game. My bank account was hacked n Robbed by Door Dash, set me back. I'm just playing catch-up atm. I noticed folks complaining even my SG is breaking apart not believing in folks have real villains outside the isp. I love our game just believe I am truly devoted. I can't abandon this team of Devs they are the greatest, or my community on CoH I have had since Live who are awesome. 3 2 1 1 1 1 1

My multiplayer batteries wear down, and then I have to go into seclusion to recharge them. 3 2

Though I do solo a lot in HC I like to chat in global while I'm doing it. But hc is always here so that's a relief!
Snarky Posted November 22 Posted November 22 I too am working a lot. But CoH is my only game. Not that i play much now. But i do game twice a week with Justice Superteamers on Excelsior and that is awesome time. I wish I could blame villains but i think someone else is responsible. 2

I only play about 4-5 hours a week, but I still enjoy it. My eyes just can't take staring at a screen for too long with that many bright flashy colors. I miss being young and dumb. 3 1

MoonSheep Posted November 23 Posted November 23 i play on excelsior and haven’t noticed much of a population change, like a lot of long term players i’ll have periods where the amount i play goes up or down several hundred people is enough to have a good time on CoH, there was more than that during the SCoRE days from what i understand, so i think we’ll be fine for the foreseeable If you're not dying you're not living

Right now I'll occasionally log in, do a mish solo(like I just did a few moments ago), log out and then not play for a few months. That's what works for me right now. I am sure nostalgia and playing with the fam will at least keep me doing the occasional TF here and there for a time though. And the winter event. It's the only one I like. I will tell you though that CoH is not only not the only game I play(it's pretty interesting to see for how many people this is true though), it's not a priority game for me. That probably won't change. I want to stick to modern games to enjoy the advancements in gaming that have and will continue to occur, plus it's easier to boot up the Series S or PS5 than this PC to play games. This makes it preferable during the work week to just game on console.
