It was a big drop so I appreciate somethings can fall through the cracks. tidge Posted June 26 Posted June 26 The only unexpected thing I noticed immediately after i28p2 was that something was seriously wrong with the Maintenance Drone from Robotics, but this appears to have been an introduced bug that has since been addressed. It was so bad, and so unexpected that it certainly felt like a 'nerf'. For a while there I thought it was an unannounced change to give that one user (who missed seeing his Protector Bots cast heals) what they wanted. 1

In general, no matter how few people may be impacted by a change, I don't see why it shouldn't be in the patch notes. My guess is this was accidentally left out of the patch notes, but I hope it (and any other changes like it that were made) are amended to the patch notes now even though it does mean the player base didn't have the opportunity to provide feedback on it during the beta period. Go0gleplex Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I've noticed a distinct lack of being able to hit mobs; as in I'm whiffing a lot more than what I was last month across all 30 some toons. In some cases this is despite having ACC SO's slotted. Dunno if it's a result of a nerf or the mobs getting boosted, but it's certainly annoying. Nothing like going up against a white tag mob and then missing the next dozen strikes rather than two or three that was my old normal. lol 1 2

Solo i run on easy mode, as i am doing every mission. I use a kismet +to hit and standard +acc of 15-80, with most powers havein 35 or so

I felt like I was missing a lot yesterday, but my Last Hit Chance never dropped below 95%. 1 1 1
Go0gleplex Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I don't know all the fun little tricks the numbers guys do. I'm just a casual player and an old fogey to boot that barely understands computers to begin with. (chuckles) So Last Chance...or all of that stuff is like speaking Greek to a Martian. 😉 All I know is that I've been whiffing with all my toons far more than what I had been doing (which had been less than 50% or so) which is more impression based than numbers based...but noticeable enough to be visible while playing. (shrug) 1

Yeah, the CoH rng has always been extremely finicky. The reason the streakbreaker got put in place originally is because we complained so much about streaks of misses with 95% to hit. Nothing like having 95% to hit and missing ten attacks in a row. These days I still see stuff like "Miss, streakbreaker forced a hit, miss, streakbreaker, miss, streakbreaker, miss, streakbreaker, miss, streakbreaker." 1
