Octogoat Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Which one would it be and why? I think I'd pick Mirage studios and get Eastman and Laird back in good form to run Glow Rat as their art style and storytelling was gritty and out of the box for anthro comics at the time.
Techwright Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'd say whatever studio Rob Leifeld is doing art for now, but only because you caught me flat-footed with that question. 😁 Hmm... That's a hard choice. I don't really get into manga or anime, but I did like the old stuff in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Whatever house did Robotech would probably do a fine job with Major Ray Gunn. I'd love for Jim Lee to cover him, so that might imply DC Comics currently, but I also loved early 1990s Valiant Comics, and X-O Manowar had a style I liked, so their successor, Valiant Entertainment, probably could do a reasonable job. 1 1
Snarky Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Slave Labor Graphics. They did a great job on Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Real depth of feeling for the material. I would have Snarky done, and it would be a bloodsoaked nonsensical waltz through one vignette after another as he chased one whimsical desire after another 1
SeraphimKensai Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Todd McFarlane. Hell he can take a pick of any of my characters. I'm down.

Dorkins art would work great with some of my less serious characters. Hmm. Dark Horse back when they had the Aliens license and were really making good product. Munitions Mistress would fit very well there. Also My really goofy characters would be fun in a Roachmill style world. 1 Girls of Nukem High - Excelsior - Tempus Fabulous, Flattery, Jennifer Chilly, Betty Beatdown, Totally Cali, Two Gun Trixie Babes of War - Excelsior - High Beam (Yay), Di Di Guns, Runeslinger, Munitions Mistress, Tideway, Hard Melody, Blue Aria Many alts and lots of fun. Thank you Name Release For letting me get my OG main back!
Logansan Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Dark Horse Comics for me, purely based on how good the Elf Quest graphic novels where. 2 1 Logansan (aka Body and Soul, Badaxe, Delta Love, Ellendor) Google Photos album with the background stories of some of my characters.
Major_Decoy Posted July 10 Posted July 10 (edited) I would have Ryan North make it and post it on Dinosaur comics. Edit: I am kind of torn between the idea of having it indistinguishable from all the other dinosaur comics or using City of Heroes images in the same poses. Edited July 10 by Major_Decoy 2
Skyhawke Posted July 10 Posted July 10 DC Comics and I'd get Dan Jurgens to write and draw it. Sky-Hawke: Rad/WP Brute Alts galore. So...soooo many alts. Originally Pinnacle Server, then Indomitable and now Excelsior
Go0gleplex Posted July 10 Posted July 10 CrossGen Comics before they went bankrupt and were consumed by the Disney beast or Image Comics (produced the Cyberforce title circa 1992)

You thought of this on the hoof, I can tell! Bendis, Oeming, Dark Horse. A Study in Scarlet - repurposing a very famous title for my main! 1 a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. MrAxe Posted July 10 Posted July 10 (edited) Tbh I have no idea who'd run it. My illusion/storm controller. As much as I love my main (shield/psi tank), tough heroes with a melee focus are so common and boring. Better to have one of my toons with more outlandish powers. Plus in my head cannon she's a wacky, entertaining character. She'd be a nightmare for the artist though. Think a Dr. Strange costume on steroids. Edited July 10 by MrAxe
SirArthurIV Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Image. Most of my characters would fit in with any of Todd McFarlane's creations.
Sakura Tenshi Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Gennedy Tartakovsky or Trigger studios for my characters. Probably the former for Gaia Redeemer and the latter for Tuxedo Cat.
tidge Posted July 10 Posted July 10 I'd want Ernie Bushmiller to handle all of my initial print appearances. Post-Incarnates it would have to be Bill Griffith.
Triumphant Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I'm a chronic alta-holic, so my "main" changes from month to month. Having said that, a lot of my characters probably would fit better as supporting cast, as opposed to starring in their own books. As far as recommending writers, artists, publishers... I'm so far removed from following the industry these days, I really wouldn't know who to suggest. Also, many of my characters are humor-based, and probably only seem funny to me. I'm doubt they would be well-recieved as a commercial product. I guess the OP's question doesn't necessarily assume that the comic would be made for mass consumption, though.
