  1. Ok, so you clearly have a fixation that -regen needs to stay on the Bots because you don't want to take the personal attacks. I get it. Personal attacks suck a lot of END out of your rotation/budget for other powers. But you are taking it really personal it seems. I am playing around with the Mercs/Necros/Ninjas seeing if I want/need to take all the attacks or just a couple and if it'll make a difference. I already know that I can't take all of them so in the case of Mercs I could be losing out on a 3-10% damage buff. Necros I'll probably lose more with the extra summons that their personal attacks bring (not sure about Ninjas as I didn't see a bunch of extra crits). But I did see all those Pets doing a lot more then right now in live even Bots. So right now I consider what the Devs are doing a Gain for MM's all around (and not as you say for Petless MM's "desires"). What the Devs are trying to do is promote a Base line enjoyment for all MM's by making sure the pets are all on a mostly equal footing. And in doing so promote more build variety then ever before.
  2. Wow. I am sorry, but what AV needs that much -regen when facing a team? What is one tick of regen going to do against a bunch of people wailing on it? Unless it is a team full of Controllers pure damage will always mean more then -regen. And how many teams have a Bots MM in them and they do fine. Yes people are going to have to change builds. Heck the Power re-Ordering is going to make that a given across the board. But for Merc/Ninja/Bots/Necros we will have to rethink our entire outlook and playstyle. It's the first start in making MM's more streamlined with other AT's.
  3. The one thing I am finding is that the personal attacks need to be a bit cheaper Endurance-wise. The M30 Grenade is still 18 End which is almost a 1/5 of my blue bar. I do realize that you don't have to spam all these powers, but with a bunch of toggles running, even a mistimed shot could drop everything (including you). Since it is a good idea to take at least one attack (if not all) slots are at a all time premium. Using them for End Reduction for a simple attack seems wasteful. Hopefully those Endurance costs could come down at least by 25-30% for a AOE power (like M30) if not 50% for say the T1 single shots.
  4. So I transferred over my Ninja/Kin MM. She is only has basic IO's slotted and not even Alpha unlocked. When leveling her it was ok, but the survivability was low due to a lack of buffs and only a simple heal. The only way to keep them all alive was to defeat everything first. In groups it was tough. Now, without even doing anything or slotting anything extra the changes have made her and her team a lot more deadly. Time to Defeat is a down a lot and even with a big group (didn't try Malta, crazy not stupid) I didn't have to spam the heal all the time. These changes are making want to run to Live and start to re-build her (maybe add TP and Fold Space), and this was my weakest Ninja paring. I can see my Ninja/Storm being even more powerful. Now a silly question. Slotting a Recharge enhancement doesn't effect the Ninja's self heal timer, does it? Also side Note - Have you had a chance to fix EA's T9 power to work on pets yet? Because all my EA MM's would really like to know 😉
  5. I guess it's time to port my Ninja/EA over to test. Start spamming that juicy END boost.
  6. The only TF that needs to be done faster (heck maybe even a re-work) is Synapse. All those Defeat All missions against Clockwork with only up to level 20 powers? There is a reason I only do that when it's WST. All the other ones you can (for the most part) stealth and skip all the fights to get to the glowie/boss and ATT your team. And aside from Synapse I enjoy doing the TF's. But I can see that having T9 Nukes in the midgame TF's Yin, Moonfire) are going to make a lot of people just sit at the entrance and wait for the Blaster/Corr/Def (maybe a MM now) to run through and clear in like 2 mins. I think that needs to be addressed.
  7. Got my $15 CAD in...more like $21 USD. Man my country's dollar sucks, Thanks Trudeau!
  8. And Done! Finally got a chance to after a few lean months and bad timing.

    Stay!

So as others have said, once you get a certain distance from your pets they will automatically teleport. So if you are stealth running a mission it's best to just dismiss them. Another reason why pets don't stay a lot of times is based on their stance. If you have them set to Aggressive they will seek out anything in like 20ft of the area you told them to stay. In Defensive the moment you take damage they will attack that target, due to Bodyguard mode (it works on both Follow and Goto). So setting your pets to Passive & Stay/Go To will make them not do anything even if attacked.
  10. That is why you place a KB to KD in Tornado (even Gale). But if you pair Storm up with a power that prevents KB while held or immobilized (like Earth) then Tornado is really good.
  11. /EA is really good (outside of the T9 not affecting pets...lets go Devs!). I made almost every combo of pets/ea and found Demons, Necros and Bots paired very well with it. This is in part to stacking their resistances with Faraday Cage. Plus you can almost have UNLIMITED POWE...err heals, absorb shields and Endurance. For pure laughs you can always try Ninja/Kin. With Speed Boost your ninjas break the sound barrier and the AI just can't handle them. But due to the fragile nature of Ninjas it isn't a top tier pairing. Ninja/Storm is both fun AND competitive. With all the potential KB and KD in both sets you can keep your Ninjas alive by having everything else on their backs. Thugs/Traps was my first lv 50 on Live. It just has all the tools to take down everything including AV's. Thugs/Poison is also really strong.
  12. Lord Nemesis went to Extreme Makeover to get buffed! Now who would want to hit someone looking that Shiny and Chrome (well Brass)!
  13. Earth/Poison is one of the best debuffers in the game. It can floor anyone's Defense and To-Hit. Damage is a bit light, but you can proc out Poison trap and pick up Water Spout to help out with that.
  14. Yeah those are my two favorite controllers. I have almost all the combos of Earth control made. /Rad, Poison and Traps are also really nice.
  15. Add Repair and Smoke to that as well.

    Props to MMs

I love my MM's and Controllers. I am not looking at a single fight. I am looking at the battlefield. Using my Pets and debuffs in the most effective way possible. Like someone once said "Thank God I'm only watching the game controlling it.".
  17. Ill/Traps should also be on your radar. Lots of AOE debuffs and damage to offset Illusions more single target nature.
  18. If you go into your powers tab and then scroll through your Temp Powers/Buffs just right click it and delete it.
  19. After the Tuesday maintenance. Y'all .....got some of that 10xp around.... Getting several levels and/or unlocking Hybrid from like 50% Interface in one Invasion is quite addicting.
  20. I am having a fun time with Rad. The buffs are pretty good as you have to be in range of mobs and you do have a few options for CC to keep them busy.
  21. I want to make sure I can make my Sephiroth gender bent clone with the name Sephirotha!! Or just XSephirothX! (Yes I am kidding on that. But I know many will try and do that.)
  22. Pretty much all of what Carnifax said. But since you are playing Necro taking Entangling Aura should be on the table. The reason is that you can build yourself as a more Tankermind as most of your pets are melee and your T3 pet is basically a Controller. So he will be throwing out holds that will stack with your Aura. The thing about Necro is that it isn't a High Damage pet class, it is more a control and whittle away set. So your job as "the Boss" is to give them the time to do it.
  23. Thanks for posting that.
  24. I don't use those amplifiers often, but when I do it's for my new lv 1's (mostly non-MM's and controllers) to help with the early levels. That or lower the amount you can buy from 8 hours to like 4-6 hours. Please just let them run down no matter what. If you are using them at high levels then you have money to burn. That or lower the amount you can buy from 8 hours to like 4-6 hours.
  25. Control Primaries Mastermind Primaries Dominator Secondaries Basically anything that isn't a Blaster(Corr,Def)/Scrapper/Brute/Tanker please.
