The best fix would be to make the ambushes timed vs having the next one happen after you kill off the prior ambush. Eliminates the cheese factor of keeping one mob alive while you go have lunch.
-
We already have asymmetric arms, boots, and gloves.... hope they can someday expand that to include legs.
-
Nothing wrong with asking for new costume options, I'm always in favor. I personally want a Bear head option.
-
I support this. It would actually give me an incentive to work on low level arcs vs doing dfb to lev 13. I never did like Atlas for doing low level missions. As for the other comments about other areas have to be rebuilt first ... no, cities have the ability to work on more than one area at a time.

The fabled nude look has been achieved many times with normal skin tone... so, I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be done.
-
I think creating a Heraclea npc in Cimerora should be sufficient, just to be consistent with past user memorials like Coyote in the starter zone.
-
Yeah, the npc pushing always annoyed me, though as far as I know it has always been that way since issue 1.

Blimps and Trucks, allowing us to stand on them.

I've wanted this for some time... however, to be devil's advocate: 1. You'd have to identify WHEN a person is on top of another object vs just being nearby. I suppose you could identify all of the "magnet" points in the mesh, but that would be a lot of work. Potentially, create standing points on the object, similar to the little star objects for exploration badges? Not ideal, but probably more doable. 2. You'd have to identify the center mass points of two objects and keep them equidistant as one of the objects moves, at the same time accounting for the rider object potentially also moving around. Probably not that easy. 3. You'd have to account for other objects getting in the way, or when the vehicle disappears. (i.e., the train going into the station) Most MMOs I've seen where you ride other objects (i.e., WoW with the flying mounts), make your character part of the mesh, and you're stuck unmoving until you land. Not viable in this MMO if you want multiple people riding on the object or want to move around a bit or pose. -
Edit: Changed my reply after re-reading the original post. I could see changing current arcs with a generic boss to be named. But yeah, having every arc be the same could get boring.

Load last 15 minutes of LFG chat on character entry
krj12 replied to Oklahoman's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Yeah, but you're not thinking about the overall load on the server, which would impact everyone, which would make individual settings irrelevant. -
Load last 15 minutes of LFG chat on character entry
krj12 replied to Oklahoman's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
That could be a large amount of increased data being sent to clients for this feature. I would say yes only if the devs could ensure zero effect on performance. -
One more change: fix the terrain issue where people who use TT sometimes get embedded in the ground in front of the 2nd mission entrance.
-
While I like the fact that more of the zone has been opened up, I don't care that the door for the (I believe) 2nd mission has been changed to be in a constant position in a remote part of the map, vs the old randomization. I've also had a couple runs where this particular door is guarded by a group of level 54s. Not a big deal for most of my runs, but it could be an issue for a level 35 team. Suggestions: Bring back the randomization. No level 54 door guards.

1. With the introduction of the secondary travel powers, we got a new travel power tray that pops up with just that one power. Waste of space for just one power imo. Suggestions: a. Open up that tray for other powers and keep it open . If a user doesn't want to see it, it can be collapsed just like the other three. or b. Barring that, move the option to disable it from Null the Gull to Menu/Options/Windows. Seems very odd to have a gui setting controlled that way. -------------------------- 2. I like the option for my controllers to always see the Pets window. I do not like having to enable an option under Options /Windows - to display yet another option under Teams. It's redundant and a little annoying. Lose the Options/Windows item, and just always show that option under Team.

I'd like to expand this to having random atmospheric effects: rain, snow, fog, high winds, etc - snow dependent on the time of year of course. But not so often that it becomes passe or annoying. Maybe 95% of the time have "normal" weather.

I'm finding too often that I'm forced to take powers that will not be used, or of marginal use, simply because there is no better option. Or unable to get powers I want due to build constraints. Examples: - Having to take kick or boxing to get access to Tough and Weave. - Being forced to take only one travel power, since there is no room in many builds to allow access to another. I usually like to have both flight/SS, since they're both of use in different types of maps. Suggestions: 1. Allow selection of one more power pool than currently allowed. 2. Remove the requirement to pick a lower level power to get to the actual needed one in a power pool.

/Leviathan /Mu or /Psionic Mastery for my Plant/Storm build?
krj12 replied to Qabal's topic in Controller
I went Mu for the charged armor, but an extra tornado could be entertaining as well. Whatever you find the most fun. -
P2W Vendor: Level 50 Ticket (Cost: 20 Million Influence)
krj12 replied to LightningDrone's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Considering how easy it is to get a character to 50, playing normally, I really don't see the need for this. Next request will be a "give me all the incarnate tier 4 powers" for 20m influence. :) -
I Love One Aspect of the Game, But Sometimes, I Hate It.

Somone in WoW had a real thing for ... crap. Don't know how many missions I had where the objective was to pick up piles. I'll take CoH over that any day. -
Wow, thought I was doing well with the speed ITF at just under 12 minutes, must have been a monster team.
-
I think it would be interesting to have a "Paladin" type AT, where the buffs and/or abilities are limited to a circular area around the character.
-
Always in favor of more costume pieces. HC team really needs to recruit a few people just for doing costume pieces and weapons.
-
I got most of the names I had on live with the exception of "Hercules" and "NorthStar". I really wasn't expecting to get old Herc back, but it still hurt. :)
-
Indiana Jones is definitely a scrapper. "Dirty" melee first. :)
