  1. I'm not asking to be able to write a novel, but maybe something just a bit longer than the 32 characters allowed now. Maybe 50 or 60 characters would be about right...
  2. The movie was abysmal as far as I'm concerned. Cornball comedy, lame villains, mixed with a lot of blood and gore - just not my thing. The Eyeball Starfish GM was terrible - makes early Godzilla movies/Ultraman/etc feel like masterpieces.
  3. Shrug. I do something similar when forming ITFs, to please broadcast in zone. For a couple reasons: 1. Filters out people who don't have the badge, have no clue how to get the badge, and/or have no clue how to get to the zone. 2. Prevents the problem with forming mixed villain/hero teams. If someone on the team is out of zone, it prevents me from inviting villains actually in the zone. Do most people follow my instructions? No. I'm guessing most people read the "LFM ITF", and stop there. However, I don't let it outrage me as it apparently does to the OP. My advice is ignore the tells and let it slide. Not important enough to grow grey hairs over.
  4. Shrug, I try not to get too emotionally worked up over the results of a cc. Everyone has different tastes, and based on past cc's, the devs and I are 180 degrees apart in terms of taste. :) Best to just let it go.
  5. Well, not really talking about pvp. Shared zones would still be pve - you'd just have different contacts. PVP, imo, should be restricted to zones built specifically for it.
  6. For ranged soloing: 1. Plant/Storm Troller - can be a bit slow at low levels, but comes into its own. 2. Ice/Ice Blaster - great damage with slows, and knockdowns. 3. Fire/Kin Troller - haven't played one since live, but used to be the defacto top farmer. 4. Fortunata - like a psych blaster, but with great survivability.
  7. 1. Better graphics - both character and environmental 2. Weather 3. Voice acting for all npcs and cutscenes 4. Much better base builder. Personal lairs. 5. Much better mission creator, more intuitive, and allows me to create missions with all the capabilities of the devs. Allow me to place said missions out in the world, not inside an AE building. 6. More power sets 7. More character progression after 50 ( continual if possible ) 8. Better music 9. Destructible environments 10. Combined world used by both heroes and villains. Separate zones was a bad decision.
  8. I'm against nerfs in general. If you want to buff lower level scraps, fine, but no to any level 50 nerfs.
  9. Yes, as long as you leave the character in that spot. Any movement, and the character reverts to the crouch pose.
  10. No, try using an inspiration with any SD toon. It puts you into a standard pose, with no arm crossing. I'd just prefer that being the default, without having to burn an inspiration.
  11. While you're at it, can you can change the SD toggles so they don't have you hunched over?
  12. Just checked.... it appears to be "Evasive Manuevers" that is the culprit. Toggling that off restores the old physics. Would be nice if I could that could be toggled without losing the normal feel of Fly.
  13. Not sure which release this happened, probably when they started changing the flight secondary powers, but... I really don't care for the new physics. Before, when coming to a stop, there was just a bit of drift at the end, now it's an immediate complete stop. Before, turning off flight resulted in an immediate drop, now there's a 1 to 2 second delay. The old drift made it feel more natural... now it feels very stiff and mechanical. I used to enjoy flying around the city just for the fun of flight - not anymore. Please revert the physics.
  14. An "incarnate" setting for any current TF that can be run at level 50. This setting could do all/any of the following: 1. Add +1 or +2 to the level of all the mobs. 2. Add additional powers to any AV encountered in the arc, although an alternative might just be for the "end game" AV. Some ideas for the additional powers: - debuffs - ability to summon more allies periodically - more DPS - an additional level above all the other mobs - additional specialized attacks ( perhaps something from the Judgement area ) 3. More mobs
  15. Kind of what turned me off about red side in this game... Everyone is under Recluse's thumb, and near the end you have to pick one of his henchman to be your "mentor".
  16. The Easter Egg room in Faultline, but everyone probably already knows that one.
  17. Hidden room that I found in Peregrine Isle back on live, seems like you had to work your way through some bugged geometry to get to it though. I don't remember exactly where it was or how to replicate it.
  18. I'm not talking about ITF, I do that frequently - drops are ok. I'm talking about the zone - drop rates are abysmal.
  19. Just curious what the logic is for Cimerora - seems like the Devs back on live went on a crusade against farming, and completely stopped IO drops in that zone. I used to enjoy farming the wall before that happened.
  20. I don't think it has anything to do with the vet level, but I think it has a lot to do with the amount of time spent on any particular character. There is definitely some kind of drop suppression going on, and it becomes fairly obvious on my farmers. Play them long enough and the drops taper down to almost nothing. You have to shelf said character for some time before it resets.
  21. I think the biggest argument for this is the fact that you have to switch to redside to acquire the villain power pools. An alternative would be to have hero side arcs where you work AGAINST the same villains, and as a result of defeating the villain you take their powers. Probably a bit less work than having to create new arcs + new pools.
  22. I only have a few blasters, but of them I think I prefer the Ice/Ice. Feels like I'm playing a very high dps controller.
  23. I would definitely like it if this could be implemented.
  24. I had someone use it on my ITF the other day... I'm not that familiar with the power, what exactly does it do? I thought it was one of those powers that protected me at the expense of doing anything to the enemy. It actually had no effect on what I was doing, I was still able to attack the enemy.
  25. I could see fixing or replacing some specific missions where it's awful to find that last glowie. Definitely. Orenbega maps spring to mind, as well as outdoor factory maps. But I don't agree with removing the mechanic completely - the game needs at least some minimal challenge. They already changed the game to show that final glowie - they just need to make it work consistently across all missions.
