  1. Doesn't Fold Space have a cap of 16 enemies and 100 foot radius? How can you cluster a whole map with it?
  2. I did a Fire/Traps build without Fighting last week and managed to stretch S/L & Ranged caps. On a Defender I think you could take Fighting and an Epic, still fit in Fold Space and end up with rather silly Def numbers. Here's a NoPurples (well, 1 Purp) / NoWinters build which doesn't even bother with Scorpion Shield and still manages capped Melee, Ranged, NRG & Neg and damn close to capped S/L Defense AND resistances. Single target damage might be a bit low though This Hero build was built using Mids Reborn 3.0.4.7 https://github.com/Reborn-Team/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. Plant/Storm/Ice is SO much fun in the last area of Market Crash, as I discovered last night. "Hello 50,000 Sky Raiders. I have a Tentacle for each and every one of you"
  4. Don't think that's possible (300 second recharge against 30 second duration). In any case this isn't a Purpled out build, just a decent mid-priced IO build.
  5. Mine is in my sig. I used Cross Punch to get around the crappiness of Frozen Fists and Greater Ice Sword (it isn't). Obviously pick whichever Epic you like the most. I went Mako cos I needed a cone for my rogue icecream vendor. Something with a snipe would be a saner choice.
  6. As a very quick tweak to what you have here's what I'd quickly change about. No procs in your tornados, cos they won't. Also I don't like the payback from Procs in Chain Fences (or any AOE Immob). They just don't go off often enough.
  7. Can you post the data block / link so others can open it in Mids? I wouldn't put a Damage proc into a Confuse which doesn't alert things by the way. Also damage procs in Tornado are a waste. They won't go off often. My Plant/Storm build is in my sig if you want to see how I slotted Tornado & LS, but if you post the build data link I'll happily poke yours.
  8. Thanks. Yep, I've considered corruptor vs defender over and over. Decided I liked Scourging RoF too much. I've played Nature on a Mastermind and I know how much mez can mess them up. So decided a RoP build might be fun / less frustrating. I've been debating Fire Breath vs Entangling. It's pretty much a straight swap IO bonus-wise. As my recharge gets better (level 40 now) I find myself using Breath less. Things running out of RoF, especially solo is getting really annoying so something to at least help makes sense.
  9. This. Control is the key for dealing with MoG. Controllers and Domis (or anyone else with a Mez) should focus on locking them down Failing that my Fire/Nature was popping aim and Rain of Firing them. Things like Freezing Rain can help too.
  10. I'll second Plant / Storm. Plant is a great primary for Storm. I'll also second the End issues. Yeah it can be rough.
  11. If you're happy with TP anyway AND you have something like Soul Drain or another useful PBAOE with a killer buff or damage then it may be worthwhile. Those stupid Praetorian bots in Marias arc for example won't run into melee automatically (ditto quite a lot of Praetorians actually). Also to counter those who seem incapable of sticking KB2KD into their AOE Nukes for some reason. Combat TP will take the Universal Travel spots too so not a totally awful spot for Winters Gift or Knockback Protection.
  12. Honestly can't see how or why you'd want to "tank" with a Fire / Storm, especially not with this build. Your defenses are very low to the point of nonexistent. With all the recharge this looks more like a "stand back and rapid blast" build to be honest. RoF has a 40% RunSpeed debuff. Snow Storm has a 50% RunSpeed debuff. No more scatter (or rather incredibly slow scatter).
  13. Hi folks So I'm working through Fire / Nature and quite enjoying it. But probably not enough to go all out Purples and Winters. Pointers / alt builds welcome! I skipped Entangling Aura. Honestly at the moment I don't feel like I need it, I've a couple of cones (heal and Fire Breath) and I've no real need to be in close combat (say unlike a Fire/Nature Controller). Downside is a lack of the lovely Basiliks Gaze +recharge but I can't see how I'd fit it in. 15. Mine is a garden gnome. So I went with the Watchdog Legions explanation with Sweepers / Living Statues. "No-one is going to suspect the harmless pottery gnome in the corner. Better move on... *Urrgh*"
  16. Other stuff : Sentinels. Still stuck mid 20s with a Beam/Elec. I don't see the point. Yay. I have an armour set I don't really need, at the cost of meh damage. Why don't I just run a Corruptor with nice buffs I can apply to myself? Pity cos I love the Cossie I made for him. Peacebringer : I have a level 50-but-not-played-much Warshade but never even started a PB. Ive also never played the final arcs of Villainside. Might be worth trying.
  17. Inv can be made very tough, has few clickies and has decent NoFX options. That's what my natural Staff/Inv runs as. Because it's a bit of a hybrid it gives you a nice all-round base to layer Pool powers and IO bonuses on top of. It especially likes the Typed defenses and the resistances the Winters sets offers.
  18. I'd never done it til my SG ran it as a speed run practice about two weeks ago. We were obviously all IOed out etc and the Hounds are excellent at letting you know what to do. Think it took us 8 minutes 😂 Not sure much of that had anything to do with me though. I just chased people and Fulc Shifted as much as I could.
  19. Combat TP is probably way more useful than Spring Attack (it is for my Staff/Inv anyway). It won't break hide or alert them so you can TP in and do whatever you like quite happily. I use a /macro TP "powexec_location target Combat Teleport" macro to ping myself to my current target, BU then Assassinate (solo), Sky Splitter or Guarded Strike them (team). Can't help with Ninjitsu (I'm Inv) but Staff is hella-annoying in that there's no No Redraw setting for it. So for Ancillaries I went for things that don't need clicks to avoid redraw. So I'd probably skip Laser Beam Eyes sadly (if there was a No Redraw I'd be going for a Snipe personally). The Assassins Mark Chance to recharge BU is global (once you've triggered the attack once on a map for some reason it'll try and trigger on all attacks) so I just bunged the set into Precise Strike. Eye of the Storm I went with 5 of the Stalkers Guile (chance for Hide goes into Assassinate, everything else goes here) and a Forced Feedback Proc cos a spurt of Recharge is a nice thing. Here's my planned build. Level 42 at the moment and following it pretty closely (without the Winters yet) and it's pretty beastly. And here's the currently live version (SOs as Placeholders and Touch of Death and Oblits in place of Winter sets)
  20. This is why Artillery is so nice for Cones. Ranged Defense as a set bonus AND range enhancement in two of the IOs. If you're cone-heavy then 2 Bombardment also give you a +Range set bonus. So you could slot Artillery into the cones and 2 Bombardments (Damage and the proc for example) into "normal" AOEs to further boost your cones.
  21. I'd quite like some 4 or 5 man SBB style trials and mini-TFs with unique rewards. Some new sets or whatever. They don't have to be OMGSOGUD, just something interesting. I quite liked the new Targetted AOE and End Mod sets when they were added. Something like that in some way. Doesn't have to be in the same tone as SBB but something more suited to a 4 or 5 man team (on an 8 man everyone is ~3/8ths obsolete anyway).
  22. No Redraw Justice for Staff, Mace Mastery and Soldiers of Arachnos!!!
  23. As a Corruptor Scourging Rains + a -Resist patch is always good. Ice/Cold (which you don't want), Ice/Dark, Ice/Storm: All of these have a Slow+Resist patch to go with your rains. Ice/Trick Arrow, Ice/Time : Both of these have a Slow patch and a -resist power to dump on top of the rains. Blaster-wise I'm fond of my Ice/Fire blapper. There's nothing stopping you crafting macros to drop Ice Storm and Blizzard as PBAoEs and you end up with a nice DoT blapper with lots of AOE. Whittle things down while you use Ices excellent single target attacks on the biggest thing in the spawn. For scary content you can still drop Blizzard from range while the Tank grabs their attention.
  24. Since the Fold Space changes the best Teleporter I've played with recently was actually a Warshade. Ran an ITF with them (I was a Kin) and they were so good the entire team was commenting on it. Obviously they were a IOed up WS and I've no idea what sort of build they went for overall but they were awesome (and looked cool too with gold-coloured WS powers).
  25. Grav / Traps with the Teleport pool for Fold Space? Traps so you have some toys ready for them to play with when you Fold them. Mind you Traps is slow to deploy so on fast moving teams you may be struggling. Time, as Warpact says, works well with Grav; you'll have excellent defenses + FS will be up more often and Fold Space will essentially pull them into your -ToHit aura. Kinetics also loves having big clusters of enemies so if Time doesn't appeal a Grav/Kin may. FS1 -> FS2. Mmmmmmm. Stick KB2KDs in Repel AND Singy and everyone can be treated to the Music of Your People (wooOOMwooOOMwooOOMwooOOMwooOOMwooOOMwooOOM) 1 : Fold Space 2 : Fulcrum Shift
