  1. Ouch. I always try to remember to save my costume and power customization during creation in case something like that happens. I do find that if for some reason it gets aborted, my choices are still there waiting for me to complete, so you might not have to redo stuff.
  2. I'm constantly jumping over to the other side, etc... The only way I constantly hit them is to go to the side and jump into the flipped up grate.
  3. It's only via the Oro crystal to do Sister Solaris, that you do not get awarded the Midnight Squad badge. You get the badge when introduced to Sister Solaris as a contact. And you have to teleport to Cimerora via the crystal. Then if you want to, you can do the repeatable mission from <dude next to fountain>, get his phone number. And if you want to port to Cimerora without the badge later, you can do a mission TP
  4. Another low priority, but possible easy fix for consistency sake. You can get to Cimerora without the Midnight Squad Badge and even do the ITF, or enter the Midnight Club. However, it's probably rare that you would, or even want to. Steps to recreate: Hit level 50. Go to Oro Crystal and select Sister Solaris Arc Teleport to contact Quit flashback Do ITF You can do the repeatable missions as well and get the day job, and you can enter the Midnight Club via the entrance from Cimerora, and get that day job. If you do Sister Solaris via Dark Astoria and being introduced to her, you are awarded the Midnight Badge.
  5. We're never more dangerous than when we're dead! #yellowbeard
  6. I'd prefer the MT to refuse to activate if a mission is not selected. I certainly don't want a mission auto-selected unless it's the only one in the team leaders list.
  7. My SR didn't. 😄 darn eyeballs.
  8. Beta here too. It happened enough and not just vs Kins. Maybe it was more prevalent on Justice. And at some point, people seemed to have more experience with the different powersets and got more flexible. Nowadays, most pugs seem to figure things out with what winds up joining though an occasional AT swap will happen.
  9. Yea, this wasn't a challenge mode, but since there are usually a stream of them starting, I wasn't too put off at the time. And I have taken advantage of the leveling up via ITF enough that I did run +4/x8 for others with my tougher characters. Need to start those up again
  10. Somewhere in the ancient past, Empathy was king and if you were a Kinetic, you were looked down on and sometimes wouldn't be picked up for a team.
  11. Not so much #1, #2 occasionally, #3 rarely, #4 just me muttering to myself when I misclick... On commenting on other player's characters, I did get booted from consideration on an ITF with a level 50 since I didn't have any set bonuses... One time joined a TF with a char that had a ton of dayjob buffs going. (I had just finished their dayjobs, but hadn't really played them for awhile) Occasional vet levels and badges are remarked on. However, I agree that grumpy pants are a rare breed.
  12. I have blasters that have a pretty good survivability rating though I've seen others being run like tanks. That being said, my favorite blaster tactics are mass destruction since the best way to survive, is kill everything first. Or have enough recharge that "Rise of the Phoenix" is just a part of the attack chain...
  13. I'm pretty sure the difficulty is +0/x1 as default when someone else enters. At least that's been my experience. On TFs, if you look at difficulty, it's just going to show your own. Yes, it's annoying and one reason I don't like leading TFs if we're going to run at plus difficulty since my comp zones slowly. (As a plus, I miss out on a lot of cut scenes...)
  14. I have occasionally edited, but it takes a bit of oomph for me to do so. It's a handy reference, but with the caveat in that not everything is there. I'm very grateful it exists though.
  15. I don't think you can leave Dr. Kane normally, so it was easier to just quit and reform. I think that may be true of most of the trials. I have often used Pocket D P2W during TFs though.
  16. So far, in a dozen runs, once had to quit and reform after picking up envenomed daggers. Every other time, we've worn him down. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower.
  17. I don't know if the developers here do what I used to do when I was developing for a different game. I'd read the forums and see what people were talking about and even if something was technically not possible, or some discussion went off in a different direction, I could get an idea of what might be a neat thing to put into the game.
  18. Duplicates just make the counter go up, but it's often the last badge gotten. Odd thing is, a char I decided to get the Halloween badges on actually got all the different costumes save one after finishing Dr. Kane which was the final bit of badging for him
  19. Ah. We had so much area effect including a blaster nuke that his pets were never up long enough to do much. And the merits were a nice surprise since I was just in it for the badge.
  20. I did note that I could have Stealth on and a costume now. They used to be non-compatible.
  21. Yep. I'll have to run a non tricked to the gill char thru it, but he mainly just took more time to take down. His damage seems lower than the AV at the end though. (Single data point, so wildly different results most likely)

    Max bug?

You can do the other Max missions via Oro, but you're stuck with him in your contact list. It's a bug, annoying but low priority
  23. We're 1/2 right. ToT works in First Ward, not Night Ward. So all the way up to level 29...
  24. Note: Oro via a base and you can do First Ward and Night Ward missions as well. (For that matter, you could join some appropriate level chars and exemplar down to them)
  25. A few of my characters have split off from the main to do a quick stress test of my build. Though normally I won't do that until I have a feel for the team and never with a char with support powers. And that's not an option with most of the iTrials or other events where one needs to follow protocols to succeed. All in all, if the leader puts down some rules, then follow them. If no stated rules, then just don't be a jerk.
