as a very non wise non programmer I wonder if it may be too much work to do a global change retrospectivaly using Null so that Group Fly not affecting me is the default instead of yes Group Fly affects me at this stage. But I wonder if it is an easier option to set it to off for all new alts as I hope that it is a simple 0 or 1 for off on default thing when creating a new alt? Eventually by using Null on existing alts and new alts beginning with it Off we achieve some solution for the unawares. Cheers PS also plus one for a Group Fly only affects my pets option as well 👍

Hi, I do like to have some costumes in a uniform colour but can never seem to get the boots selections to match, even with colours linked set. Am I chasng the rainbow or is this a know limitation of our costume designer system? Thanks for any info or ideas, appreciated 👍

When it is a crafted regular IO. Then Slow becomes Snare! Every other type of regular enhancers of that favour are called Slow, so when a new player ventures into IO’s it is just weird that there is no Slow type in list. Then to compound the confusion, as soon as you investigate Snare the first info you see is that it Slows stuff! Any rational behind the anomaly ? If not please think about changing Snare to Slow. Hi, have a look at the first section of the forums Accounts and Announcements and in that the sub section Getting Started. That should have all you need to get up and running. But for info, you will need a second email to create a second account so have that ready first. Also use the new Homecoming game launcher, makes it real easy.

Hi, during normal game play the system generates and displays various onscreen messages such as “Badge awarded” or change of district as you travel through zone et cetera. These messages always appear at same spot onscreen, in my case mid point across and about one third down from top. Is it possible to change that location on a permanent basis or else to turn them off? Ideally I would like them off to one side at bottom and be in much smaller text. Thanks for any info. 👍

Hi guys, first apologies for a small hijack of this thread but my probs are based on the info given above, thanks. So I have two farmers, not super tricked out but okay as I farm for myself to support new alts. I have a Rad/Fire and a Spines/Fire standard builds. My first problem is same for both alts, when in mish using the examples above and parked up at the indicated spots I miss half the passing patrols as my agro area just seems too small to cover the intersections! I must be doing it wrong somehow as AFK is just not working. I get a few of the mobs but I assumed the point was to get them all? Is there a map that has smaller intersections and patrol paths that take all mobs through the spot or spots? Maybe I should be parking up not in the middle of the junction but to one side? Secondly what power should I have on auto-fire on the two alts. I currently use Burn for that on both. Hovever that leaves the Rad side of the Rad/Fire alt redundant and so much slower to defeat mobs. The other alt, Spines/Fire, has Burn on auto and Spines toggled on so at least both sides are doing some work and it definately defeats the mobs faster. I am assuming that incarnate powers and stuff like hasten et cetera are just not used? Thanks for any/all info guidance you can give me to help me maximise my AFKing.👍

Oh my, the last thing I did ingame and completed just literally before the server went down was to create a lovely new tank. I was stood at the bottom of the steps up to Miss L waiting for the popup countdown to complete when the world went dark. Now I cannot wait to get back in and play my new tank so powerful it beat the whole game by just being there, yippee, this is going to be some journey🥳 Any apologies to to all for its pure awesomness used while not in my control, I shall smack its ankiles when we get back in 😎

Hi, your Global chat handle is just that, Global. Yes, you can change it using the ingame menu option, but as far as I understand it is a once only change unless you have a very persusive reason that will get the Dev’s to help you out further. Cheers

Hi, you can still do this but now with all the free stuff there is no need to! As a lowbie using the tram overhead lines to run along above all those horrid purple baddies when going to the Uni in Steel or for travelling between IP north and south and for getting to the Store in Talos et cetera, mostly just for fun and to usually to collect explore badges. And trying not to get run over by one of the trams and knocked off the rail……..🚃🚃🚂🚂😢🥲😃

Hi guys and thanks for all the info responses 👍 I did go and buy the Raptor Pack and did get the three badges so all good in the end. Disclosure first, I do not PvP, tried it once and was so abysmally bad I even ganked myself, so know nothing about the practicalities or theory of PvPing. So therefore do not know why all temp powers that give vertical movement need to be disabled when I could take fly and use that and that is okay! Just seems weird. Then I get stuck on why a much less powerful power like the free Jump Pack we get at lvl 1 from the P2W vendor is disabled (30 seconds duration then forced shut down) but I can go and buy a temp fly power for 2 minutes! (So not all temp powers are disabled it seems as long as you pay!) Two of the badges in question are in Siren’s Call and the terrain is so smashed up by the ruined tower it is just horrendous to try and get three seconds of SS even if the yellow ring did work. The other badge is right at top of a chimney on top deck of oil rig with no room to SS either. Yes I could use my second build but that just seems total overkill for the task. My initial reaction on entering the PvP zone and seeing all my temps disabled was that that was how it was, and never even considered that there were “Special” PvP temp powers that duplicated my disabled normal temp powers lol! None of this is a game breaker or anything other than a minor inconvenience and all the suggestions above will sort out the high badge location problems so all good. I just wanted this to be a heads up for any other non PvPer badger that may pass that way in the future. Oh and again for info, the Temp Power vendor is the normal looking dude lurking to your left as you enter Siren’s. Cheers 😀

Hi AA, have checked out that Raptor pack, 10k for two minutes flying time. Well that will get thise badges, but I wonder how many badgers that like me never PvP, will get stuck by not knowing about those temp powers. But many thanks for the info and a very helpful solution, it is muchly appreciated. And at least we have flagged this up in our badge thread for future use 👍👏😀 Thanks

Hi, lvl 40 alt (brute) with Super Speed and temp power Small Jet Pack for vertical movement and Jump Pack. No fly or hover, not needed on this build. Recent patch has disabled all temp powers in PvP and by definition the zones. Was a bit short of time so thought I would just go get the hazard zones explore badges. So hit Bloody Bay and did get all 8 with a lot of detours to get the rooftop ones. Hit Warburg, got them all apart from badge number 3 (vidiotmaps number) Triumphant. This badge is on top of a huge globe atop three statues. But my jet pack is disabled and so is the Jump Pack from P2W vendor. How do I get it with no vertical movement? Then hit Sirens and badge 7 is up a tall ruined building, same situation as above. Badge 5 is on the floating rig atop a tall chimney, same situation as above. Any help to aquire these will be apreciated. Is it possible these badges were not checked during beta tests of the disabling temp powers? Thanks PS cannot be bothered to check RV yet till these are sorted out!

Hi, can an alt that already has unlocked the Patrons rerun say Scorpion via flashback, and if teamed with an alt that has not, will the badge drop for the other alt? Basically want to use my lvl 50 tricked out alt to help by alts on second account get their patron unlocked. Thanks

Hello, would it be possible to expand Luna (in Oro) to include converting Emp merits into Trandences and back to Emps? Currently you can convert a bunch of things incarnate wise except that above. To do that you have to leave Oro and go to one of the merit terminals to convert 50 to 1 or vici versa. Most of the incarnate stuff new lvl 50’s probably do first is mainly started in Oro (BAF’s et cetera) and certainly the unlock Alpha arc always ends by talking to Mender in Oro. I mostly have a Trandencense in email ready for the newly alpha slot unlocked alt to claim and to use it to equip Alpha to T3, which is done as soon as the arc is completed. It would be really useful to have the means to convert it back into emp merits right there at Luna. Thanks

Hello everybody, firstly I want to give you all my proper thanks for your responses. Knowlegeable, informed and spot on what I was hoping for. Thank you all. I have a draft plan, not so cunning, but enough for me to be kept busy in the coming weeks. So first phase will be to roll a new Claws/Energy Aura and get a feel how different that helps my Claws. Followed swiftly by, and a complete change for me, to an Ice/Fire/Fire scrappie. (you beguiled me into it Sarge 😀) Will let you know how they develop as I level them up. Hi, from the older(more traditional?) sets I have an SR/Claws tank and my main is a Claws/SR Scrappie. The tank is really good fun and I get a few comments of surprise about using those sets so that is nice. The scrappie is just a buzzsaw dashing about like the puppies full of energy drink. Not very flashy or bang wallop but for the bosses and big bad guys always standing at the end.

Hi guys, well I truly love both my main alt Scrappers (live and HC) both being Claws/SR, both of whom had/have all the available badges and many many hours played totals. But...lately, everything I get involved with when teamed up seems to be run at x/8 and I feel I spend most of my time running round like a headless chicken arresting single target runners and stuff. I just don’t feel I am contributing as much as I feel I should be especially on kill all ITF’s and suchlike 😢 So I want to try a much more AOE damage scrapper but don’t have any experience of them. Am not after specific builds, just AT combo’s I can try for the feel and then I can progress onto a proper build. So help please with combo suggestions for multi target Scrapper damager. Hello UberGuy, absolutely smashed it. 100% correctly diagnosed. Edited the file and problem it go away. 👍👏😀 Now given the expertise you so obviously have, please just have a chuckle if the following is a complete bucket of nonsense.... When I originally installed the game after it returned I put it in a different folder structure to the one above (used CoH\.....) and was using the old NcSoft launcher. So when the new HC launcher came along and I installed it as per their guidance, I seem to remember that the install also downloaded and installed a fresh version of the game complete. We then had to copy paste a few files from old to new. The path above is to the new install and I think that all the alts that were being affected were the ones I have created since using the new launcher. For some reason the older ones made under the other version were still using the old txt file location. I never got round to deleting the old version cause you know “just in case!” 😇 Anyways, many thanks for your help, muchly appreciated. Cheers
