Technically the game doesn't "need" any particular AT. That's the beauty of it. You can do pretty much EVERYTHING in the game without requiring a given AT.

I've had, literally, this sort of issue and recently. Was working at GenCon. An old Army buddy I haven't seen in a few years walks into the booth and just stands in front of me. It look my brain like 2 minutes to register "You know this guy!". Had another episode a day later. Went into a talk and pushed past a guy who shook my hand. I was like "Hi! I'm *MY NAME*." As I sit down it registers on me who the guy is. I've known him for 20+ years and he's the guy who runs THE wiki for everything BattleTech. Getting old SUCKS!

Also, if anyone is hoping a M&G goes to a con near them, my best suggestion is to offer to run it YOURSELF. Honestly, making a restaurant reservation isn't terribly expensive (if it costs anything at all). All you need to do is make sure you hit all the usual suspects. All the major forums, FB, Twitter, and whatever other social media you happen to use.

Keep in mind that Resist-based builds have no DDR whatsoever. So depending on a capped Defense in a debuff-rich environment is somewhat futile. You become an eggshell because you've compromised your Resists for Defense. As such I went chasing +Resist with just a light slathering of Defense. And the armor set just works so much better.

Okay, I've learned this lesson. Simply ASKING on the forum is a great way to never know who's coming. I recommend creating an RSVP form on Google Docs. https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/ Then pointing people at the form This way, in the end, you wind up with a mailing list of attendees and know roughly how large of a reservation to make at wherever you're gonna hold the meetup. Then put it here in the forum as well as on Social Media in the various CoH groups. As well as the COHTITAN forums. More coverage and better control that way.

Incorrect. To pick up Acrobatics or Spring Attack, you need TWO powers from the Leaping pool before it can be chosen and your minimum level must be 14.

No, what I'm saying is that the recharge on Spring Attack (2 minutes) is out of whack with similar powers (like Shield Charge or Lightning Rod). And, even given heavy +Recharge and Recharge enhancement, you can STILL knock off Fireball at LEAST 2-3x before SA comes up for it's second use. On your 30 second SA build, you'll see that Fireball is up roughly every 8 seconds. In the end, more DOT with Fireball.

Actually, looking in Stalker build, Spring Attack. The main problem is the recockulous recharge time. Even fully enhanced for Recharge, Fireball is up 3-4x more often than Spring Attack. The problem is, the ATO is "chance to". Not a guarantee.
