I am concerned that they'll do the typical cost-cutting thing and have most of the movie take place in the "real world", with the escaped program(s) being able to do things like touch an electronic/computerized device to control it or take it over, a la Terminator 3, instead of it being set mostly on the grid. I am further concerned that they may try to bring the larger internet into the mix, (which wouldn't fit with how the grid is presented as its own isolated world)...

Not that I'm against allowing shuriken attacks as an option, but at the same time, the way the Ninja primary is setup implies to me that your character is not, themselves, a ninja, so I can also see why a longer ranged support weapon, like a bow, would be chosen. Maybe MMs could stand to gain some themed APPs, (like a "Ninja" one with some shuriken and katana attacks, any maybe some kind of defense toggle that also grants stealth, (think Shinobi from Blasters' Ninja Training)...

It is weird, considering the Ninja henchmen use shuriken attacks, (though only a single animation, IIRC)...

Here's the problem - no other power set has the kind of interchangeability you are asking for. It's not that I am against the idea, but it doesn't have any precedent and it unlikely to be something that is easily implemented. I think a better approach would be to add a series of MM-primary-inspired APPs with those attacks/powers, (though those might be better suited to other ATs)...

At this point I do not believe you are arguing in good faith. This is a comic book setting, where real science doesn't apply. Radiation in CoH does NOT work like it does in real life, full stop.

Earth Assault has stone spears and fissure, so I guess Claws could work with just the 2 ranged attacks it has as well; focus and shockwave. Nice? Sure. Likely to happen? No.

I wonder how difficult it would be to modify the various prestige pets we have into little shoulder pets...

NP. I would stress that you focus on boosting your absorb from Instant Regeneration and possibly try to fit in some defense, whether via pool powers like weave, maneuvers, and combat jumping, plus from Invention Origin sets, if and when possible. I'd also look into binding reconstruction and possibly second wind to easily accessibly keys, so you can use them in those "Oh sh!t!" moments...

Welcome aboard! To be honest, I don't think you'll enjoy regeneration as an armor set in the late game or in end game/incarnate content. If you are looking for a solid armor set with lots of endurance/recovery to keep all your powers "fueled", may I suggest Radiation Armor or perhaps Ninjitsu, (though the latter does require a bit more attention and responsiveness to fully utilize)...

We can literally call down meteorites from the sky. Inside a building. And don't tell me that tossing around some radiation has greater ramifications than opening a literal portal to an infernal realm and summoning demons. If you can suspend your disbelief for one, then you can do so for the other...

You'd need at least 1 more ranged attack; Maybe use that cone that Widows get, and possibly the single ranged dart attack? As for power boost or the like - maybe tweak follow up so it gave slightly lower +dmg and +tohit, but then add an extra +special effect? It'd give the set its own character, IMHO.

I just want Superman fighting an actually menacing and formidable Lex Luthor - not some goofy comedic version, (as much as I liked the Reeves Superman movies), and not the weird creepy manic version from BvS. Bonus points if they can pull off Luthor's power armor, (again, without it looking too silly)...

But I can't imagine that, even if stolen from Crey, Council, or other sources, that they're using those parts "as intended". Also, none of the parts look like their alleged source groups' tech, so they must be just smashing stuff together and seeing what works, (and if a Freakshow dies mid-transplant, they probably deem them as not strong enough anyway, and just move onto the next "patient")...

More so than launching fireballs, calling forth storms, summoning undead, or even demons? IMHO, it's all about control and how/when/against whom you use your powers, not what those powers are. Now, you could RP that your character does have some issues with containing their powers, so you just toggle them off or otherwise simply don't use them while civilians are nearby...

I thought the thing with the Freakshow is that they stole experimental drugs that allowed them to wire themselves up with second-rate or improvised cybernetics, hence why they're weaker to energy damage, since those parts are basically kludged together...

Given how they dressed-down the women in Spider Woman, I am not confident that they could portray Black Cat adequately, currently...

Sure, and in the comics, Pym created Ultron, not some weird Stark + Banner + Mind Stone conglomeration; Similarly, Captain Mar-Vell, (or however you spell it), was much different than the person who served as Danvers' mentor in the MCU version. Clearly they pick and choose what they adapt from the comics and what they leave behind, so saying "X is canon in the comics" has no relevance - they do w/e they want...

Now I'm picturing someone in a long trench coat trying to lure people into some dark alley, only for them to reveal a pristine and impressive costume underneath...

Yeah - I similarly put a touch of lady grey damage proc in my rad armor's taunt aura, for a bit of damage, but I can certainly see why someone may not want that...
