Man that's a suggestion! Makes me think what the OP suggested and what others have said, going back and forth, or really back to back its a great concept. I'm sure some one will have my back and agree with me. Back me in to a corner with a sword or gun and I might change my mind though. Back on topic though, does anyone know what the apex of the back is called? 😄

Earth's Embrace heal nerfed too much
Glacier Peak replied to jmdx3's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Not at all. The power isn't meant to be used as an oh shit button. It raises max hp and can easily be perma'd, which makes Rooted's regen work even better. -
Looks like all the regulars have been getting their post count padded in this silly thread, I'mma get mine now too! At least its nice to see some level of passion in this community, even if every day less and less people are on the forums or in game...

Of the three Penelope Yin's in the game, Penelope Yin (Faultline), Penelope Yin (Praetorian), and Penelope Yin (Freedom Phalanx Member) - none are called Penny Yin. I'd say this is just a case of fan parody at least and a bit on the nose at worst. But I'm not a GM, so take it with a grain of salt!

As far as temporary persistent buffs go... Cathedral of Pain Anger Monument temporary power grants (0.08 * Melee_Ones)% Damage (All) Strength (self only) for 10.25s DFB Hydra Chemical Damange Enhancer temporary power grants (0.12 * Melee_Ones)% Damage (All) Strength (self only) for 10.25s Neither appear to apply to Mastermind pets. I think DFB is a comparable example as they both also lasts for one week.

Procs add a lot of flexibility and options to builds at the cost of moving the game away from role based gameplay decisions that rely on team work mechanics. So some discussion - why recruit Scrappers, Brutes, Sentinels, or Stalkers to the team when Blasters have a higher ranged damage modifier that outpaces melee attacks and can be damage proc'd even farther to destroy enemies faster than any other AT? What purpose would the Tank serve if there aren't any mobs to taunt? What about crowd control? Or support? Or HEATs/VEATs? On the other hand, the trade offs for proc builds is the initial investment in time and influence, then the build really only performs its one role very well (outputting damage).

I'd have to check other persistent temporary buffs to see whether they also ignore Mastermind pets. Does anyone know if the DFB buffs apply to MM pets? Or Flames of Promethus? Um... what about the winter themed temp buffs from the Elf in the Pocket D Ski Chalet? If it's not working as intended though, I'd support this fix.

Imagine the skin pruning from staying in the hot tub too long! Dr. Vahz would not approve.

I'm still seeing mine... and I can log in no problem.

I read this at the beginning of the pandemic, it's an really impressive read: https://www.amazon.com/They-Called-Enemy-George-Takei/dp/1603094504 And I've been going back through my Comixology collection of Batman classics (Long Halloween, What Ever Happened to the Caped Crusader, Batman: The Dark Knight trilogy, Killing Joke, Batman: Year One, etc..). And I can't get enough Sherlock Holmes. I loved the original novels and short stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle so I pick up one of those every so often and read through them again.

@macskull Free range organic incarnate powers had me rolling 🤣

You have been defeated X # of times.
Glacier Peak replied to Bill Z Bubba's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Don't the terminals tell us this? -
Yours - and I just rolled a Katana/WP Scrapper that should be fun. Psi Melee hits really hard, I've got a Stalker that uses it. If you're interested in the set mechanics, check out this thread: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/28445-psi-melee-psa-boggled-isnt-confused-why-that-matters-oh-and-insight-chances/#comment-355852

Awesome costume! And I can't say I see too many of them either. That's an interesting King's Row attraction I suppose.

Ah not so much, I was more or less for 'here's some alternatives that don't require reworking the set' Yeah end drain is something that only exists at higher levels. As MT pointed out, not a lot of armor sets get protection from that type of debuff and when they do there are trade offs. I couldn't tell you the thought process behind the set's power choices and its not likely any of the original legacy developers are available to ask that either. Good luck!

How would you rank the MCU works?
Glacier Peak replied to Techwright's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
All the Captain America movies rank 5 for me. Pretty much any that he's in. Except for the Falcon & Winter Soldier show... kind of just a lot of about nothing happening and Cap already gave Falcon the shield. It was fun to watch but anyways back to the ranks. 5 - Cap movies 5 - Iron Man 1 5 - Agents of Shield (when Colson is in it) 3 - every other marvel movie and TV show 1 - Agents of Shield (when the episode is written for the drama, good lord I can't stand the CW/Teen angst non-sense a la The Flash) 1 - Iron Man 2 and 3 because the original set the bar too high -
So the one thing balancing the set needs removed because it requires the knowing the limitations of the powerset and taking appropriate action? I'm not convinced by this suggestion. Carry more blue inspirations. Pick up the Recovery Serum at the P2W vendor. Team with +recovery granting teammates. Add more +recovery slotting to the build. Kill the minion that is cause for concern first. Edit: Activate Strength of Will which grants +recovery.

Nerva has Ballista out the wazoo if you're hankering for some. At the big hero base in the zone they're scattered around.

Can some one link the proc chances spreadsheet already??

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Glacier Peak replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
I liked having The Hobbit read to me when I was young. I enjoyed reading the trilogy before the movies were released and I loved the three movies when they came out. The Hobbit was pretty far off from the book as I could remember, so I felt like it was a different take on the series instead of an exact copy and paste. I remember the books being so long that I'd have to put them down for a while until I had the taste for Middle Earth again. So yeah I'll watch the series since I've got Prime 😄 -
This thread has been collecting geometry errors for a while so this is bound to happen, but the one you posted was already mentioned at the bottom of page 3 a year ago:

Conversion from Quickfoot to Thrust?
Glacier Peak replied to Ukase's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Thrust is a travel power specific IO set. Super Speed and Speed of Sound. Edit: ...and Elude apparently: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=scrapper_defense.super_reflexes.elude -
Debuff Resistance/Status Protection power pool?
Glacier Peak replied to Yomo Kimyata's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Self-mezzed 😆 I can only think of one other power like that still in the game and one recently added: Rest and the new Geode power to a degree. -
Even with the designation as the unofficial pvp shard, there was never a level of population in that gameplay area seen on the live shards, where pvp was already relegated to essentially niche status outside of farming pvp io sets. It was great though in 2019 - lots of community ran pvp, teams, scrims, prizes, gold titles, zone and arena was open to new and returning players to learn, fail, win, and have a good time. While it's not at that level anymore (that I've observed), it would just take some folks with enough interest and passion to start it back up again on this shard. Considering that, and what you've said, coupled with the overall population decline of Homecoming, I see it as a normal progression. At least it's all there still to play and pick up should anyone want to try it out. As for your last point, totally hear ya. I've been on Indom since June 2019 and it's been grand. Then again I've got RL friends to pull in to stuff and don't really have to rely on ingame numbers to get after any content. I suppose results vary by perspective.
