  1. My understanding is that the Galaxy City zone of yore is still in game, but there are not any accessible routes (at least not after the HC team patched the only route I knew). Edit: Yep, its listed as Zone 29.
  2. When a player loses all of the health points, they are defeated. Period. That is how this game works. So no feelings necessary, or whatever you are claiming your opinion is.
  3. Echo right? Yeah that is a tough one I haven't found yet either. But if you mean Galaxy City, it is still in game via tutorial...
  4. Yeah, I can agree to this when it concerns new players, especially if they've never done a Hamidon raid - adding something that indicates potential strategy concerns to the mission initiation dialog would be a nice warning (as opposed to learning from trial and error). That seems reasonable. I don't see this warning as needed for the rest of the player base though - if you are fighting Hamidon, even in a weakened state, it needs to be held. That is a pretty well understood strategy that dates back to Issue 0 on legacy, as far as raiding goes. Even for the folks who have never done a Lady Grey Task Force before, odds are they are going to team up with someone who has.
  5. I think there are already enough inspiration in this game. Adding more would further trivialize the game's mechanics. But if you're trying to have a fire sale and bring everything down to the level of ease that would pose no threat or challenge I recommend running Mender Ramiel's arc where the player gets the freeeeeeeem power and all their attributes maxed out. It's actually really boring playing this way.
  6. The powers are there already for players to use. The HC team doesn't need to make this change. I don't support giving a player a temporary hold power in the LGTF. Why give a player a hold when that would defeat the purpose of teaming with a controller, corruptor, defender, or dominator - in fact, any AT can have a hold if they select the right Epic or Patron power pool. Any AT can purchase the temp power I noted above and any AT can grab the day job power as well. It would also make this task force easier than it already is. Leave the onus on the players to solve the challenge using the means given to them.
  7. Yep there's been a gapping hole in Siren's Call geometry since live, and while an attempted fix was made by the HC Team, it actually made the hole bigger and easier to get though in order to get below the zone.
  8. You get the device to Penny, who in turn uses her psychic powers to destroy it. From the souvenir: "...if a powerful enough psychic were to order it to alter it's own history so that it would never work again, the threat could be neutralized, permanently. As Agent G explained, the amount of psychic power that would take would be beyond Aurora Borealis, but would be well within the limits of the most powerful known psychic on the planet: A girl named Penelope Yin..."
  9. Thank you for putting in all that work and sharing it with the community.
  10. Yeah, I hear ya. I love seeing the almost defeated Council enemy break out in to a giant werewolf. That's a story I'm interested in! Just like seeing Void Hunters in missions!
  11. Interesting question. Technically, I think the system in place lets things like this go up to whatever level it wants. Then again, I've never seen or made it happen. 50+5 is as far as I've seen - but it used to be 50+3 as the cap, so I guess it could conceivably go higher.
  12. I like that these pieces are easily destroyed. Makes me think of a bull in an antique store where everything is destroyed easily because the bull is so powerful. I just can't suspend disbelief if a canvas painting or clay pottery doesn't shatter instantly. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME REALISM IN THIS MAKE BELIEVE WORLD!!! 🤣
  13. I guess I never stopped and thought about it. Now that I have, I don't care one way or the other. This is a fictional game based on bits and pieces of real world history to provide just enough level of realism. At the end of the day, in this fictional world, I am a superpowered being that completes missions to gain influence and infamy (or in another dimension, information).
  14. They are just patch notes. They'll get around to posting them when they have time. There wasn't an official list of the patch notes on the HC Discord, just mentioned in conversation. That's how Discord is. I'm confident the patch notes will be posted on these forums when they can.
  15. First Ward and Night Ward are on my list of zones I haven't yet conducted a search of any geometry errors or holes in the zone to pass through. It's a fun hobby, but it's time consuming!
  16. Perhaps, but it's the only answer that has been provided to the problem the OP is describing. If the OP were willing to reform the team at a later date with someone who had holds or obtain the Security Chief Day Job Accolade and log out near a bank or police station to gain charges for the Tear Gas AoE Hold, their options would expand. COD entry: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=temporary_powers.day_job_powers.security_guard_tear_gas
  17. I remembered correctly! There was an old post that linked to an image of the event triggering, and this is what is seen when it happens:
  18. Just barely beat the Archetype sub forum.
  19. Yeah, COH is definitely operational over virtualization. I think I ran 10 instances over my own server using less than 16GBs of RAM and maaaaaaaybe 2 cores of my CPU? Maybe? Virtualization is the future man, just tell the program you got what it needs and the program doesn't know any difference between a physical system and a virtual one. I dunno how that works on modern stuff, but it works pretty universally (with the right software supporting) over virtualization.
  20. I think I will add some context to @Without_Pause comments and try to steer it back to the topic of the thread. The HC team has been outputting awesome content for the past two years with fewer than a dozen developers (at least according those publicly stated on their Staff page). This makes me think of two things: 1) Wow, that is a really productive and creative bunch of volunteers, and 2) They care enough about this community to make sure the content they create is of the highest standard. That standard is secured through a combination of time and effort on behalf of the developer team, but also from the players in the community who choose to play test, break, and find exploitive or unintended behavior - so that when the goodies hit the shelves (costumes, powersets, missions, etc.), the community can be confident the content is true to the spirit of the game.
  21. Right! I mean I took breaks because it cost money and sometimes I just didn't have enough to justify the sub, but now that it's back and FREE I'm picking up what you're putting down.
