I expect that since I have Overload as a LOTG mule I could have limped through for a time using that to buff my def up over 90 and hp up.
But it would have taken forever. Energy drain was not enough though.
I think every MMO will have a segment of the playerbase and ex-playerbase that hates the "Devs" or the Company that runs the game.
the Irony of course is that without them there is no game.
It makes sense that that would also exist here, even if its not a MMO product in the more traditional sense.
So just out of curiosity I took my STJ/EA stalker, which is built mainly for damage and tried this. I got smoked really quickly.
And this stalker generally can laugh at almost all content, including going Leeroy Jenikins in the non-buffed 54 ITF on teams.
And I think this game is too easy. No idea how easy BZBs Tank sees normal opposition >.<
This is good advice for everyone.
Hit by a Sapper? Stab yourself with Recovery Serum.
Exemped down below your End Powers? Stab yourself with Recovery Serum.
Dumb enough to use a End Crashing T9? Stab yourself with Recovery Serum.
Amazing.
Guess this kind of answers some of the questions in that difficulty thread though >.<.
It shouldn't really be possible to do this solo in relatively reasonable time frames.
And seems like you could fairly easy build a team to steamroll this.
Still awesome job to everyone that pulled it off.
I've done claws/wp and claws/sr brutes.
Both are awesome.
SR on brutes has the perfect progression and balance IMO.
WP on brutes has this sort of unique aspect that any buffs from the team will make you much harder to kill
Claws vs Savage is sort of a performance vs Style thing. Claws feels OG City of Heroes Style. Savage feels a lot fresher (animations/sound effects and so on).
I expect Ice could do it.
Fire seems like a big question, same with Electric.
A granite tank could survive I'm sure, but it would take a longggggg time.
It does!
Its plainly obvious that it does.
It won't be though.
You seem worried someone will go and run with that idea though. Or now evidently your afraid someone in the audience is afraid that the Devs will go off and run with it and you are safeguarding them from these libelous ideas.
And thus protecting the world from 40 years of the Devs being locked in the basement.
The funny thing is that I'm actually a pretty casual player.
I just figured out that if I play one character at a time instead of 10, that character starts to have a pretty decent build after a few weeks.
I only have one billion+ influence build character. But that character laughs at everything I can throw at it.
I have a fair number of 300 mil characters now, and with even a little support they aren't far behind.
And I don't have any real COH playing skill. I just jump into the spawns and mash buttons.
So for the actual hardcore players this game must really seem easy.
Okay then. So not even on teams.
This where we mention some Stalker combos can OD some Scrapper combos lol
Also Widows get terrific scale numbers on their claws. But their damage cap is so low ..
