  1. No one ever dies in COH anyhow. Or almost never. In a team setting, survivability is a bit overrated.
  2. /mental was one of those traditional ranged blaster secondaries also. Obviously you give up a lot of good powers if you stay at range, but there are some really good ranged powers too.

  4. Which one is weaker? That said, ANY armor set is potentially awesome once IOs are added in. And Regen does have a really good Status Protection and T9, which helps
  5. Everquest 2 also had some awesome Staff fighting animations.

Since only some Primaries are actually competitive with Scrappers due to the AOE shenanigans I'd suggest one of those So Staff, Electric, Street Justice, Kinetic Melee, Savage Melee The Two Swords are okay since they get the big Cone too if you want to go with them. I'd avoid any of the ST only sets. If feeling fast is a requirement, Both Street Justice and Savage Melee feel fast generally. (Well Street Justice does have Crushing Uppercut which is Slow AF, but it hits like a 10 ton Hammer. So its more fast fast fast SLOW BAM.. repeat)

  8. Never saw Sents as all that good, to be honest. Blasters seem to be miles ahead. More targets affected, and of course most Blaster Secondaries ALSO do big damage. Also I don't that Damage vs Survivability is the only Axis You also have Control and Support to consider. Defenders and Corruptors tend to be pretty high on Support and sometimes decent on Control. Blasters have some Control depending on Secondary A Defender can increase Survibility for the Entire team, not just themselves.
  9. Hmmm. Yeah. Its hopeless. Daredevil makes no sense. Still I liked the Netflix take on him. Which is saying something since I had gradually started hating Daredevil over the years.

  13. Yeah. There is a difference between shade and shadow. You'd have to assume his radar sense gives him enough of a 3D overview of his surroundings he can predict where the Shadows are. It would however give him an advantage in LOS perhaps since its usually stated to be 360 degrees. Of course the way its presented in the Netflix show would be problematic for this idea ..
  14. bleah. I always forget PVP exists in this game.
  15. The Stun isn't really all that important. Melee ATs have so much survivability they can usually ignore anything short of an Elite Boss. And usually don't even need to worry about those much.
  16. Can you get the radioactive symbol on your shield? Cause that would be kind of cool.
  17. Dark is the least resisted damage type I believe. And you really don't see a lot of them. Should be fun. For that kind of Budget Id concentrate on the Def Uniques, Guassian's Proc, Performance Shifter+Panecea proc, and the Blaster ATO proc that adds status protection. I'd probably go Scorpion patron pool to get Scorpion shield, then 4-slot a few of the Kinetic combat sets into the melee attacks to get S/L defense up (I'd go with The T1, then Energy Punch, and Bone Smasher) With what/any money I had left I'd grab some LOTG +7.5 Recharges
  18. The chance for Stun Proc worked pretty good in Energy Drain in EA so I do wonder how it would do if you intentionally set up to stack stuns in something like and Electric/Electric blaster.
  19. Doesn't Thunderstrike have a BIG Aoe radius for blasters?
  20. I never have problems with Energy Aura either. Course that is on a stalker that get AOE with hide .. IDK.

  22. My other thoughts on Regen is that it should be nerfed.
