  1. Perfect 🙂
  2. Balance is the dev’s job. It is not the player’s duty to self-gimp. A player is allowed to simultaneously (1) want to play a maxed out character and (2) want the game to be more than a faceroll.
  3. Like I said, reactions will be apocalyptic 🙂
  4. Again, games are not designed this way. When something is overpowered, developers don’t respond with, “well clearly all players will gimp themselves or avoid efficient and lucrative content in order to keep something overpowered from existing”. That’s just not reality. Not that radio missions are something I would do. TF’s are easy enough and not over in 5 minutes.
  5. If it wasn’t designed to be used in that content, why would you have any problem with it... no longer being used in that content?? You’re kind of arguing for this change here.
  6. The way players talk about Everlasting Pocket D on the forum, it does sound like it’s overrun with furries, yes 🙂
  7. If the analogy were a good one and Hellions actually gave worthwhile rewards to level 50’s, that would indeed be a problem worth asking the devs to reconsider.
  8. On another note, this whole “as long as the player technically has a choice to not be overpowered, all overpowered-ness is ok and good” argument is bizarre. Like that’s ever been how game design works...
  9. I’d be fine with this suggestion, but this is about as likely to happen as a government program being discontinued. Reactions will be akin to “millions will die”.
  10. If anything, I’d rather it get more damage than have a lower recharge. Hands off my precious perfect proc rates 🙂 Not sure it’s hurting for either, but, if you insist something must be done.
  11. ITF is such a streamlined faceroll that your only job as a tank or any other AT is to be one of any eight players and to keep smashing Romans. Any AT with IO’s and a couple of inspirations can take the alphas.
  12. Guilty on multiple counts 😕
  13. Apologies if I missed this - I could’ve sworn this was covered in this thread but my search is failing me... @Sir Myshkin or anyone else: was there testing done on Shadow Field to assess its proc behavior? I vaguely recall maybe reading that it was not good with procs but would like to confirm.
  14. I think it must be my love of procs that makes me incapable of enjoying sets that have all their decent DPA/DPS wrapped up in T1-T3 attacks. Now my Kin Melee tank can unleash a buttload of procs... but those are all tied to bad animations found after level 4.
  15. 1) It’s clearly not implied to everyone or this thread wouldn’t exist. Consider being explicit. 2) Skipping mobs lowers the TF’s total XP yield. That does not mean it lowers the XP/time rate. Fighting fewer mobs in fewer minutes can easily mean your XP/time rate is not lowered, or is even increased. Some people care more about the rate than the grand total.
  16. If your only decent animation time powers being acquired by levels 1-4 earns a powerset a rep for fast animation times, please don’t recommend me any sets with said rep... And procced Irradiated Ground afk might be better DPS than the entirety of KM, so let’s not go there 🙂
  17. Lol kheldians aren’t bad unless your koolaid has a dangerously high concentration of min maxer powder. There’s more to the game than Claws, Titan Weapons, Bio Armor, Fire Blast, etc, jesus...
  18. Question: by not a speed run, do you mean you explicitly advertised it as a kill most? Speed tf’s are so common that I don’t think you can blame anyone unless you yourself were explicit about it. Also, one could easily argue that the lowbies’ xp isn’t diminished unless the xp/hour is diminished, which is not a problem in a speed tf.
  19. Yeah I build for 50+5 and only attune enhancements that hurt my proc rates. Don’t exemp often enough for it to be a problem.
  20. Some people can’t have mids because of its compatibility requirements 😉 If I posted one of my Google spreadsheet builds everyone would laugh at me 😞
  21. Keep in mind endurance problems are only relevant to level 44 and below. There isn’t a powerset combo in the game Incarnates can’t fix end-wise. So unless you exemp a lot, just cast that thought from your mind. Other than that, they’re both going to be great. Rad will do more damage, Dark will be tougher, but Rad will usually be tough enough. Both of your builds in particular will have no sturdiness issues though, because you’ve slotted for bonuses an awful lot. My tankers prefer more proc bombin offensive power 🙂
  22. I’ve been running ITF’s in a team setting nearly every day since this whole story came out and I have barely noticed a thing outside of a couple of occasional and very minor inconveniences. It isn’t clear at all at this point that this is an issue for teams. Considering how easy ITF’s are for the community, I think you need a little more than “I miss a certain type of enemy a little more sometimes I guess” to argue that this is a bad bug fix. I genuinely can’t see that teams are hurting in a material way from this.
  23. These people that don’t understand how spread-out players can result in more xp/time because they’re so hung up on how 1 person performs vs 8 against a singular spawn... really something else.
  24. Alternative to the OP: team with people you know are competent and do whatever you want. A decent group won’t care about an extra cyst ambush or an entire tower being pulled down to the bridge.
  25. Not really. If I’m running a stealth power it’s first and foremost because I want run speed or defense 🙂 If I Super Speed into a mob, I still want my damage aura to aggro them. You can just detoggle yours if you don’t want the same.
