  1. This is a pretty embarrassingly bad look to a random passerby, battlewraith.
  2. Why is this relevant?
  3. Ok, gotcha. Have not observed zombie xp outside of the context of everything else going on in PI Halloween-wise.
  4. I made about 500 merits and millions of xp last night in PI sooo lol no that’s not true. Not to mention it’s a dinky little holiday event and there’s zero reason it has to have the rewards of serious endgame content, but I digress.
  5. That would be a massive nerf to its damage potential if it were changed to be like Shield Charge, so careful there.
  6. I’m not talking about balance guys. Go ahead and make this buff happen. But you can’t deny it’s missed potential to not consider procs.
  7. A T9 power doing next to nothing seems like a rather significant issue to not be fixed yet... 😞
  8. I hate to do this because it looks like a lot of work but tbh this is super helpful and would be cool to have in single target ❤️
  9. Yes, I probably am. It’s more about the fact that MSR is a ton of +4 Elite Bosses whereas this Halloween stuff is half minion pumpkin heads. And when I said a buttload of merits, I was talking about my ToT league last night, which yielded far more reward merits than I get from a typical league running 2 back to back MSR’s. Also, the ToT league couldn’t have cared less if I was afk eating dinner, whereas MSR leaders usually kick you for running to the bathroom. 🙂
  10. I don’t quite understand how you go from that spreadsheet to conclusions, but does it account for proc DPS? For instance, the fact that Savage Leap doesn’t get shafted by pseudopet proc rules, like Lightning Rod does, is very significant. I mean I’m pretty positive that makes it the best melee damage set AoE proc bomb in the game. My only Savage though is a Rad/Savage Tanker though, so my personal experience is skewed by the fact that the specific combo has three freakin’ mini-nukes. I suggest adding columns for “Average damage per proc” and “Average DPA per proc”. I calculate those in my own spreadsheet every time I build anything nowadays 🙂 That as well as consideration of what sets do the best job of using most/all of the purple/-res/+rech procs are key to me. For instance, not a Savage Melee specific issue, but it’s helpful to remember that small cones allow an entirely different set of procs to be a part of your attack chain (Golden Dragonfly, Cross Punch, etc.)
  11. We’re in fundamental agreement about how to interact with others in game - aka not forcing your playstyle on others except when plainly necessary for success - so that’s perty neat 🙂
  12. That’s less than 80085 so it just won’t do
  13. I think this every time I read a roleplayer thread/request and I’m just bursting to express it: Can I just say that I respect the right of roleplayers to exist and to receive their allotted portion of developer attention.. But why y’all gotta be so damn weird
  14. The threat here isn’t remotely comparable to MSR. More comparable to Rikti zone invasions. Well no not even that dangerous.. Except you can get an absolute buttload of merits. So yeah. I was on one of these last night. Rewards seem about right for the risk (aka basically zero).
  15. They would have to rebalance the damage/effects of every mastermind pet/power stat in the game but sure, maybe that should happen.
  16. Savage Melee ain’t lackluster at all, it’s just AoE leaning. (But yeah sure)
  17. Tankers have higher target caps than everyone else now so.. yeah
  18. Got it. Reasonable. Thank you 🙂
  19. You aren’t seriously implying the nerfs weren’t justified, are you?
  20. Of those combos, Dark and Rad sound best to me. Rad more than Dark I think.
  21. Part A: I don’t consider it problematic in the first place for one’s AoE to not hit everything. Didn’t kill everything? Everyone shoots their single targets at the leftovers and it’s still a matter of a few seconds. I just am not seeing these game circumstances where chasing down a leftover baddy is this supreme frustration. The bickering over the matter seems to last infinitely longer than the problem itself. Maybe in your game modes it’s a far more severe and debilitating problem, but not in mine, so I’m going to give my 0.02 inf when someone comes to the forum to angrily rant about it. Part B: Well of course I will have a different stance on tactics in hard mode if hard mode genuinely makes those necessary. The issue here is not that people are downright unwilling to play tactically, it’s that some forms of playing tactically have proven unnecessary as power creep goes on, and therefore getting lectured about those tactics is just a bit dumb. Side comment about tactics being necessary.. I still get the urge to say “I could switch to some debuffs if necessary” when starting up a tf with 8 pure DPS AT’s. But then I remember, oh yeah, we’re going to be successful no matter what the team makeup, and we just continue as is. Hoping hard mode will result in me thinking a little more like the former without the latter.
  22. I was confused as hell when I came back. You’re going to have to ask what those acronyms mean some day, my best advice is ask sooner rather than later. As for keeping up, learn to (1) stop in your tracks if someone types “tt” and (2) consider packing super speed on every character until you feel comfortable doing otherwise.
  23. 1) Hoping hard mode is refreshing 2) Other than that, I get my experience of freshness and variety from constantly alting and trying a very broad range of powers. I probably play like 30 or so of my alts every week. The game would indeed be very dull if I played this exact way on one character all the time. 3) I wouldn’t say it is “no matter how badly someone is playing”. As I mentioned, some disruptions would warrant serious criticism. See my example of a player jumping into the middle of a group with PBAoE repel. AoE immobilizes? Yes, I consider those disruptions so negligible that the only ass is the one the points them out. 4) Fun half-joking side note: try to see the bright side when teaming with noobs. Had a pugster join us last night and, while he didn’t really help us, he was the most excellent vengeance bait I’ve teamed with in a good while.
  24. I don’t dispute that some powers can slow down team progress. I am merely stating that, if you are complaining about slowdowns of the 1-2 second nature, you look an awful lot more silly/outrageous/bossy/annoying/whatever than the initial perpetrator. I team with relaxed players and yet everything is a total faceroll. Remind me why your compaints are necessary then again?
