PvP DR is the only reason the no-crash T9’s are balanced IOW. If you like your tanks getting 90% res to anything ever, go no further, you don’t want no part of this.
I took more than 2 years away on live. This is not something you can ever assume. The devs can draw a line and deal with the repercussions, but at no point can they draw a line AND entirely avoid pissing off some players.
It’s been asked by a dev on one of the last patch note threads about it: “are you willing to take the severe diminishing returns from PvP with that?”
Tankers with Unstoppable on in PvP are far weaker than Tankers that skip Unstoppable in PvE. Sound good to you? Me neither.
I find it hard to believe there are a lot of experienced character builders making characters that rely on Combat Teleport to hit their hit chance cap. I never leave that chance short of perma 95%.
Second point sorta legit but I always run Super Speed or Speed of Sound anyway so irrelevant to me.
So those two points against Jaunt’s double range. I choose the range unless I want Fold Space too.
Meh, if you have a single non-nuke non-cone AoE in your primary and a PBAoE in your secondary, you shouldn’t want for much on the AoE front to begin with.
All of these things are legally true. As Bionic Flea alluded to though, there’s a difference between being legal and not being a scummy thing to do. Getting in a person’s face and recording said person without their consent is legal. It is also a smidge deplorable. Streaming is a little fuzzier than holding a phone in someone’s face, but it still merits the discussion.
Recording (plus publication and distribution of) actions of others without their consent or even awareness, of course.
As for why privacy is suddenly an issue, it always has been.
My Grav/Sonic/Sorcery needed both Cardiac AND Ageless (excessive) to feel ok about running 4 pricy ally toggles on top of the rest, but ultimately Incarnates will render endurance a non-issue on any character. Characters with multiple damage auras, Storm MM’s, any character. So there’s just no reason besides exemplaring for that to be a fun killer anymore.
Imagine if this one change resulted in @Yomo Kimyata squandering all his/her trillions until inevitably being spit out the bottom of the porn industry.
All I know is, when I think about the person running around recording people without their consent, versus the person who wants to be left out of that, I feel sympathy for only the latter. Stream all you want, but accept some responsibility for what you’re willfully doing to others.
