  1. Yes, this, though I recall in the last thread on this topic, “not simultaneously” was not acceptable to the OP. I don’t want to have to learn and keep track of binds so it’s not an issue to me regardless 🙂
  2. I’m going to try to proc bomb the T5 and maybe T3 next time I revisit a Mastermind build. See if I can’t get the attacks to feel desirable.
  3. I made something like this because of your post. Elec/Dark, has at least both heal procs in Zapping Bolt and Tesla Cage. I think maybe Power Transfer in Ball Lightning or something too. Not a huge difference but its fun to see a constant stream of little green numbers.

  5. Right, and if you actually had to resummon pets so often that normal attacks would be more endurance-efficient, your MM would be a total trainwreck. I don’t see what’s unreasonable about suggesting that maybe this endurance penalty exists because your 6 non-attack primary powers are as endurance-efficient as it gets. I do wish they didn’t suck on the damage front but oh well. I don’t normally take them, though my Necro/Storm did snag Life Drain. My Bots/Cold prefers procced Infrigidate and Shark Jaws for attacks though.

  7. I said they do huge DAMAGE PER ENDURANCE. Which is factually true. I said nothing about raw damage at all.
  8. Your reply doesn’t seem to be about endurance or damage per unit of endurance at all, so not sure how it has anything to do with my point. Yes I have three level 50 Masterminds and none have endurance problems.
  9. We’ve been over this a number of times and casting multiple powers simultaneously seems like a pretty hard no.
  10. My guess is it has something to do with MM’s already having a huge damage per endurance advantage since their pets are doing so much of the work.

  12. I pretty much always calculate DPA manually since there are way too many instances of the in game calculation including unwanted stuff. Also, I am guessing that the in game calculation doesn’t account for arcanatime?
  13. I’m not commenting on the argument about invalidating archetypes. Just saying basically everyone (except... what, Peacebringers?) has the ability to pick up a hold with originally anemic damage that could wind up being their best DPA move.
  14. Every single Blaster/Corruptor/Defender can get a hold. If you’re one of the few that doesn’t get it from a primary or secondary, Char or Dominate are there for you.
  15. Considering the #1 reason the current PvP scene is dysfunctional is population-related, further partitioning the population just to tinker with the mechanics will never really yield anything worthwhile.
  16. And all of the above would need to be done with an open mind from the current veteran PvP community to be successful. I have no interest in PvP anymore if it’s going to be the veteran way or the highway. I actually like the PvP engine in this game, but the tiny Indomitable community with a very narrow agenda has pretty much refused to grow.
  17. Yeah I’m also ofc an advocate of “difficult choices and tradeoffs make games better” and not bulldozing everything that stands in the way of the perfect tankmage.

  20. Sure, but you only see notes you’ve made yourself. This might create situations where players are judged before you’ve ever played with them. Not that any of this goes beyond hypothetical since the idea of XP debt not getting worked off isn’t exactly functional.
  21. I’m not sure I like the implication here. Making it viewable by others could make it into some kind of unofficial player rating. You’d have people kicking teammates over this kind of stuff, even though experience doesn’t necessarily equate to not dying.
  22. Sorry, I don’t support debt becoming any more trivial than it already has become. It’s a complete joke compared to what it used to be and doesn’t deter defeats in the slightest anymore. I actually prefer to play aggressively and risk defeat than play cautiously because debt is gone in seconds nowadays and if you’re in a team it’s usually safe to pop a wakie/bf/blue and speed away.
