I'd been playing in private WoW servers since 2015 and so was in a few mmo pserver subreddits. The massively OP article wafted it's way into my feed from there. I wasn't aware CoH had shut down In 2012. The story about SCoRE was just juicy reading until HC opened. I figured I'd pop in and see what it was like, as my last foray into the Rogue Isles ended in early 2009. Never expected I'd get as obsessed about it as I am today.

This is what I run. No room for travel powers so use temps/prestige (this backfires on certain modes of play). I stay in Off Adapt 95% of the time. Plenty of survival redundancy via clicks. View This Build In MRB

You have the right of it. People are within their rights to feel however they want about EB but it's not a bad power for what it's there to do. You can get it at or very near perma and that's a lot of ToHit to have. Especially on a control AT, where landing every AoE mez (with their accuracy penalties) matters. Now if people want it to be a Build Up and think it's bad because it's not.... well sorry.

I never played stone before the buffs. I have a stone/fire I've been very slowly leveling over the last few months. I'm sitting at 43 now. Has just been rock solid the entire way through. 👌 For my final build I'm planning on Musc Radial for the Endmod and Runspeed boosts as well as damage. Probably Ageless Radial as a Debuff-Begone panic button. No Granite Armor, period. Shouldn't need it. Whatever it was before, it's a top teir set now, along with Fire Melee.

I've seen WP/DM tankers be very effective. It's a great setup to be tanky without worrying about survival via click powers. I would take WP over Invul because DM synergizes better with DM (e.g.: stacking -ToHit from attacks and RTTC, Siphon Life as a heal to cover damage spikes, Recovery help to offset DM costs). Rad is just really, really good. I'm not gonna push a brag list, but it basically pairs fair-to-excellent with everything. Dark already creates a lot of fluffy particle effects so tinting your rad powers to match allows you go with seemless theme as well.

Pass based on concept alone. I'm still largely ignorant on the mechanics. None of it really stood out as interesting to me. I don't hate it or anything, I just don't care. The only thing Storm Blast did for me was remind me that there's a Wind Control concept out there that's been requested for years. Noone asked for Storm Blast. We already had 14 blast sets. But even with HC proliferating Illusion to Doms and adding Symph Control, we're still at 10 control sets. I dunno. Seemed to miss the plot a bit.

Not that I disagree with your opinion, but this precedent has already been set with things like Nictus-Rommy's shield and sword being available.

Mission Teleport: During the cast, female tanker using SD will stutter back and forth between the casting animation and neutral pose. Only Mission Teleport power, that I've noticed. Does not affect Assemble the Team. Tough "Flex" alternate Animation: No longer activates on female tanker using SD, but instead uses the default chest-thump and roar animation. Confirmed twice that the alternate animation was chosen for the costume in use. When SD powers are off (IE: no shield 'equipped') then the alternate animation plays as expected. Never noticed this before page 6, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the redraw changes. But that's just a guess.

SC on melee ATs is really important for a host of reasons that don't carry as much weight with Sentinels. I agree that adjusting it to be a sustainment tool (give it the Rebuild DNA treatment) would be the optimal fix. On the flip side, powers like Phalanx Fighting and Grant Cover would help /SD sents stand out as backline battle buddies, encouraging positioning close to the ranged support players.

I've done this with two of my older characters. The ATs are totally different. Names as well. The Prae versions have played through the relevant arcs, and are kept on my alt account so if I ever want to pair them together, I can. The bios between the characters are written nearly identically as the only clue that one is a Prae version of the other.

Top of my mind: Nike, for Victory, of going blue. Apate, for Deceit, if going red. Though I always hesitate to draw from the Greco-Roman mythos in this game.

You probably have Ageless toggled on. Or FF+ procs active (click the yellow toggle button off).

I feel instinctively that 🇧🇬 represents confusion when you encounter something unexpected. Like the first time a Bulgarian person nods "no" to you. Maybe Ramen for when you're feeling salty? That's all I've got. I would love to hear the inside joke on Domingator. And when we're getting Gator Control sets.

While I absolutely agree with your basic premise, the issue in the scenario you're describing as your example is that if you rush over to tickle-taunt whatever is threatening your backline, you bring everything else with you. Besides the obvious threat implications, it also potentially affects any location based powers that had been used. Controls can mitigate this as an issue but then you have to assume they're present in your planning. Thus I'd rather maintain my situational awareness and have a tool that allows me to maintain better enemy positioning in the field. Fortunately for me I've yet to make a tank that couldn't fit taunt in the kit.

Any 1h weapon paired with SD Edit: Psi is fun too, if you like to RP the Psi aspect of the set.

I'm probably a broken record at this point but I'm here once again to tell you about BA/Regen on Brutes. Slot FF+ first before anything else in your attack powers. Feel the synergies wash over you like a regen tick from Instant Healing. Upsides: Actual MinFX! (seems like OP wants this) Great for End Management while leveling Downsides: Leveling Regen (unless you're an experienced hand, then it's fine)
