Was enjoying Mechwarrior 5 with all the DLC. First time playing it since the release a few years back when the AI and spawns were a mess. Much better now, and the DLC story missions are surprisingly well-written with attention to lore minutiae. Small dashes of Age of Empires 4, which I got during a summer sale. Very excited for Baldur's Gate 3 in a few days. Don't expect to be back in Paragon for a very long time.

Demons/Dark. The only MM I've enjoyed playing past level 20. Still has rough spots that all MMs deal with but overall matches my predilections very well.

A Macro for using more than 1 inspiration at a time?
twozerofoxtrot replied to Vindicator's topic in Guides
Insp consumption, by which I mean each Insp you consume, is treated like a power activation (hence why you can't consume an insp during a power activation animation). That said each insp consume activates really fast, about half a second or less. So you can't fashion a macro to chomp 3 at once, even if they're different insps. I know this from experience, having used red and yellow combine and consume binds on my characters for years. The best you can hope for is, as stated above, spaming the consume macro or keybind and machinegun them down (it may also drag a few insps above them as well). -
Seeking solo AT advice (for most challenges)

Yup. Even better when your budget is unconstrained and you can slot key IOs ASAP. -

Claws/Bio Scrapper. You'll open the furnace on enemies but never feel heat. Just remember to stance dance as needed until your armor and endurance are at the point you can sit comfortably in Offensive Adaptation all the time. -
/Energy Manipulation - where's it at these days?
twozerofoxtrot replied to Metatheory's topic in Blaster
Monster single target. Check the DPA on proc'd out Energy Punch. Elec/En can with power boost can be nice. Elec on a blaster isn't good for dedicated sapping but that doesn't mean having more End Drain isn't good: you'll get more Shocked crits for it. The melee attacks make up for Elec's limited ST. Having stun protection is really nice. If you're trying to really cover bases you can pick up Acrobatics to be a really slippery Blaster. -
You don't speak for the Tankers, Lorax.

Another vote here for taking a break. Rather than play next time you're able, I recommend checking out the Heathly Gamer youtube channel and checking out his back catalogs where he discusses gaming addiction and burnout. It's relevant to this situation (though I'm not saying you're dealing with either). Understanding how your brain reacts to games and how to manage it helps preserve the feeling of fun you get from them.

I don't know how you're not recommending the movie by posting this clip. I've not seen it but now I feel I must.

Badges: puzzled why teams never seem to go for these ones
twozerofoxtrot replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
There's nothing in the powers data that limits it, but rather the mission itself just won't give you the reward after the first time. If you could jam out a console command to GM-award yourself the power you could get it an unlimited amount of times. And if you could get it after completing Mayhems and Safeguards multiple times, this would easily be exploited and well known by min-maxers, especially the stat-boosts and Summon Teammates, the latter which would render ATT obsolete because it does the same thing but on a 5 minute CD that accepts global recharge reduction (so effectively 2-3 mins) I'll often ensure I run a level 15-20 bank mission just to get this power to have handy during my leveling track. Especially on a character that can stealth to objectives. -
I ran a Sav/SR that absolutely smoked cheddar because between Frenzy stacks, Quickness, and Hasten I was able to heavily proc out AS, Hemo, and Leap without worrying about loss of recharge and to a lesser extent end redux. Plus softcaps to Def with a lot (tho not maxed) DDR. I get where your head is at but Sav/SR is going to unzip exp bags way better than something like Sav/Regen.

Make the game look more modern
twozerofoxtrot replied to The Mighty Paladin's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The game takes place in a fictional version of our world with different geography set in a time circa 2004. It's fine. -
My guess is because if you're looking at it from a content creation pov, TSPY really does offer a lot of wacky options that can be fun to play with and show off. Things like universally attuned IO sets, vet level rewards, and improvements to underperforming powers might not entertain the audience as much.

Confirmed, Everlasting. I have the same problem but other side of another pond. Even then I see a fair share of EU folks in their mid-day play. A fair few are skilled writers and often eager to bounce their characters off yours.

I had a Water/Regen in the pre-buff era that was fine. That's it, just fine. Fun enough. After the buffs I rolled a Water/Bio. Whole different waterpolo game. Do recommend.

I believe that @Michiyo created and managed FBSA (and the HCWiki) and might be the one to talk with.

For @Nyghtmaire, if you're interested in having the best of both worlds (and the build's end can sustain it) consider Speed of Sound + Jaunt instead Combat Teleport. Jaunt animates literally a fraction of a second slower but has twice the range of Combat Teleport. You'd have to drop Spirit Ward from Sorcery to pick up Experimentation but you can use Experimental Injection as a mule for Prev Med just the same, and it's arguably a more versatile buff.

Helpful reminder that because someone else might like the combo, that doesn't mean you will. You can spend a few minutes on Brainstorm and using the built-in freebies menu, jump to any level, max your inf and then via the powers slotting UI fill your powers with recommended SO. From there you can run around a few missions and see if the combo suits you. Very easy! I did this with Fire/Time and found out it was a strong pairing that I actually didn't really enjoy playing, despite that.

Extend Night Ward contact level range to 50
twozerofoxtrot replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I don't think it's this. I don't think it's this at all, because it's no different than any other contact you get. Mistress Ava is hanging out in Talos, her Redside equivalent is in Cap. There are Portals right next to all the big transit hubs. And yeah, they last longer. You're stuck with the First Ward intro contact all through your 20s on your contact roster. Also Hellewise. Also pretty much everyone knows how to get Night Ward these days, as they do it to fast unlock ITFs. No, the issue with Night Ward, and First Ward, and Praetoria, and the Rogue Isles, and Shadow Shard is that they aren't part of a fast leveling track that everyone seems to trundle through. The well-worn path of 2xp through the TFC-gaining 7 TFs that conveniently come available after a DFB run or two. Or Peregrine Island boosting. It's not that it's hard to get to. It just doesn't do anything for the player other than offer new stories. If people don't care about that, they will avoid it. -
With Grey DeLisle as her VA.

Okay so are we trying to get insight from beta or just shoot the shot about what might be in the pipeline? Your verbiage doesn't track. My concern? Not spoilers. I'm not really someone who gets revved up over game changes. My concern is people get their butts to Gold Standard and do good Closed Testing for the devs, rather than undermine the entire process by spilling word here. Again, unless we're just making stuff up. Like how Regen is getting stacking damage resist ala SR baked into its auto powers.
