  1. Sorry to be a little picky but it does have some, 25% at 50. Same as Willpower (from the same exact power, Fast Healing, lol).
  2. I'm agreeing with you. No need to be needlessly argumentative with everyone. Edit. First time putting someone in ignore and wow this functions so well. Really happy; 10/10.
  3. Might be kinda genius honestly. I leaned into Betty's suggestion of Energize as a fail-safe but obviously that's something that only gets set off on the final AV fight where the crash drops after the mission completes. On the plus side it runs for three minutes straight so you can slap Rage without a care the entire time.
  4. Putting my money where my mouth is (and who doesn't love a little challenge) I'm giving this a shot myself. Meet Power Rig! And my stab at his build. Definitely maybe not a meta-maker, but should at least manage. My bar napkin math tells me he'll squeak out an extra 6%-ish DEF after hitting 10 mobs with Energy Drain.
  5. Thanks for trying to help! I did check that already, but I do sincerely appreciate the walkthrough. Also, I did check my spam folders (after the fact, before posting this so I didn't look too dumb). So no, that's not the case, but if it had been it only sort of reinforces this suggestion to improve the forums because then it has failed to do it's job and notify me!
  6. If you can find it and provide it here, I'll hide this post. I've looked, I can't find any such option. I have received an email for a response to petition before, but it's not been consistent- hence the OP and my frustrations.
  7. Yes I guess I'm asking for more attention to be drawn to that function. I'm going to cop to the fact that I expected there to be some sort of notification and I don't usually come to the boards with the intent on following up something I submitted with a /petition in-game.
  8. This little guy needs a notification symbol when your tickets get responses: I had an outstanding issue on a character that I left idle for a month, only to come back when checking on another ticket to find it with no emails, notifications, nothing. I avoided playing the character cause of a bug I thought could be quickly fixed by the GMs, but they let the issue rot because they though it had just resolved itself since I hadn't responded to their ask to go to the Discord and/or use the boards to report it's still an issue (why it couldn't be fixed the first time I don't know). Had the board lit up on my next visit, I could have followed up that I still needed help. Doesn't it make sense to have the boards provide notifications for Support tickets being worked on, if you're gonna get one every time someone thumbs up a random post of yours?
  9. Yes exactly. I've found that except in specific circumstances (IE solo +4 runs vs AVs) that needing more than 35ish defense is a bit overkill. And when you're grouping, extra protection comes with that (one can generally assume). It's not a perfect solution, but my guess is it should work as a stopgap in the situations where you have the highest amount of incoming damage vectors; which is where you want to increase your chances of taking sequential hits the most. Plus the End gain will offset Rage's End crash.
  10. Without looking at numbers would you be able to dance around it by building for 55 SLFCE Def standing still, and then slot Energy Drain for Def and Recharge and just stay on the ball so you pop ED when Rage crashes?
  11. The only way you will knock something back with Dragon's Tail is if the enemy's KB Protection is less than .67 (or something happy to be corrected on the exact #). In this case, the knockdown is effectively knockback. This happens with every power that has knockdown, and will still happen even if you put a conversion IO in the power. Typically you'll run into this situation if you're fighting mobs that are underleveled (so the 'purple patch' scales their KB prot down vs. you) or if you're fighting an enemy with like, negative KB protection, such as Clockwork.
  12. They do, the folks over at Rebirth have had this set out for about a year now. They had to get creative with the animations but from my understanding it wasn't any more of a leap than using Talons of Vengeance powers for Symphonic Control.
  13. Got here after the right answers were given so I'll say: Plant/Fire Dom Beasts/Cold MM
  14. A bit late so maybe you've already found this out, but on the monstrous hands you can select the blend pattern and tint it so it looks like her fingers are caked in blood.
  15. I hardly qualify as an old timer but I casually played CoV from launch and left a little after inventions were added. My big memory was finding out you could get a jetpack from the Atlas Park Mayhem and a Jump Pack from the Kings Row Mayhem. I was so pumped to do these not only for the sense of chaos but to get travel temp powers before level 10. If I got really sweaty I could snag the KR Mayhem before I burned through the Jetpack usage timer. Also I thought the Tranq Dart temp power was super OP since it usually mezzed the target. This was huge when I was soloing at baby levels! I even made my obviously magical looking characters Science origin just to get it.
  16. It's probably to enhance the Lick Wounds power that Alpha Wolves get from the T9 Tame Beasts buff.
  17. Don't know what the actual reason is but the obvious answer to me is that the attack animations are lifted from Talons of Vengeance Siren attacks and they don't cause that sort reaction animation from the player. But I think it would be cool!
  18. It probably comes down to playstyle and build goals. After watching Kanil's Fort in the trapdoor thread in ages past, and how using AoC saved their run, I replaced Total Domination with AoC and use it similarly. Either as an OS button or to 'Alpha' an enemy group in order to defray their return fire; not damage them. I slot it like Kaizen to get procs for bosses. It's also just good group Mez, for when that's needed. Looking at your build from another thread it seems really tanky, so the defensive utility probably isn't there for you and it doesn't make sense for you to work it in.
  19. Damage and Build-Up procs affect only the pets slotted, but other 'procs' that provide Resist or Defense auras for your pets work as advertised on the tin: all pets get a stat bump if they are within range of the pets emitting the aura. I'm not familiar enough with these IOs to know if they all share the same radii or not.
  20. Have the door underneath Ouroboros open and let you pop out if you log out/base teleport nearby.
  21. The fact that you think I'm talking about you supports my other assertion well enough.
  22. Hilarious to me seeing people shut down the idea of a Homecoming Reddit based on the premise of it being inherently toxic. Go look in a mirror. These boards are as toxic a place as any other for the community. Crapping on people for trying something new is not heroic. u/Acylion is probably hands-down the most helpful person I've ever encountered in the community and the only place I know they're active is on Reddit (though they might be elsewhere under a different name). By contrast most of the personalities around here seem to be wrapped up in their own egos. Honestly wish the best for Lady Vic and the HC Reddit.
