  1. 1) The bind I use for BOS is: powexec_location target Burst of Speed 2) I'm toying with rebuilding to give up Eagle's Claw and slot up Reaction Time a bit more w/o losing too much def.   5. Here's version of Nemu's build I'm testing (from above) with Repel. I kind of like it but basically you just stand in mobs and refil your end every time Transference is up. I'm debating whether to use Power Boost for the final lvl 50 slot vs. Siphon Power ... Power Boost would basically be there to hit before Fortify Pack, to boost the def numbers even higher. I'm also struggling on what Alpha and other incarnates to use - especially since with Kin, theoretically in big groups you won't need the damage boost from Musc for your pets (though I suppose it's good to have when FS isn't up or misses or only has one AV-type target). Thought maybe Spiritual for recharge rate, healing, and to-hit buff. Probably will go Clarion for Destiny, and use Support Core for Hybrid -though it could go Barrier and then use Melee Core for mezz protect (though it's not up full time like Clarion, which makes it less interesting a choice). Running +3/+8 Council at 50 (no alpha) things are OK but kind of slow-feeling and there's a chance to die a lot if you get mezzed or if your pets pull too many mobs from adjacent groups. The damage isn't what I thought it would be - you definitely have to keep the doggies focused on one target at a time. It seems to have built for overcap S/L/R def, and more pet -Res and procs. Might be able to swap in Repel if you give up super jump, and still get defs >45.   7. Given comment above, you could pull the Kismet and use the slot to put a Theft of Essence +End into Transfusion if you want/need more end when you're exemp'd down and don't have transference.
  8. you need about 80% global recharge (in addition to the 70% from Hasten and the 30% from Accelerate Metabolism) to perma them both. You'll also need to ED cap Hasten's recharge which you can do with two generic recharge IO's boosted to +5 using enhancement boosters (you save a slot this way). This is all not factoring in any recharge you might get from your alpha incarnate slot choice. easisest ways are to look for IO sets that give recharge % increases, and to slot as many Luck of the Gambler 7.5% recharge IOs as you can fit (hover, weave, maneuvers, vengeance, etc.)
  9. Plant is pretty good for ranged. Just skip the melee attacks.
  10. Fair point. I wanted to make sure that I could rely on it triggering more so that I could hit Fireball after it, more than anything else (turns out, as far as I can tell, that GZ and RadTherapy won't crit). I typically go TF(running up to mobs) -> Fireball -> BS -> ET for normal mobs as ET doesn't seem to benefit that much from crit damage, as far as I can see in combat logs. For a Pylon, I suppose you're chain is likely better or put TF->BS-[filler]->ET ? I just felt that I got more consistent crits with the proc in TF than BS. And getting that crit on Fireball in groups makes me giddy.
  11. I've got my CS in TF and it *feels* like it goes off more there -- which give a crit to EM and let me fit in 1-2 more quick attacks that benefit from higher crit %, such as BS and FireBlast or Fireball and BS. Curious if you test it with TF.
  12. I think there's a hidden benefit to Cross Punch in that it ups your Recharge Rate after using it, if you've also taken Kick and Boxing? Someone better than me can say for sure. @Bopper?
  13. Yeh, slot out Radiation Therapy and Ground Zero with procs/dmg. They are both very very nice added AOE. This is how I did it on my /Rad scrapper.   14. Also people are proccing the AOE immobs for damage which, while it pales in a team setting, they get used to solo. So they spam the immobs.

  17. This is my Dark/Savage/Ice dom. The end-game build I use above 40. I had to have a switchable lower-level build for TFs and (I'd assume) leveling. Both below. Note that a petless build is totally viable at 40+ and the key (IMHO) to Savage is stacking FF +recharge buffs (Call Hawk, Savage Leap) and procs. Also Heart of Darkness is your delicious proc-nuke - under domination it has plenty of mez without including mez. The high-level build effectively soft-caps Def (S/L/R) with the -to hit debuffs from Dark powers. Note the high-level build (with the recharge procs and general recharge) can do just fine with Savage Leap, Vicious Slash, Call Hawk, Rending Flurry and dark powers. I found the cone (Unkindness) underwhelming at 40+ whereas at low levels it can be nice.   18. Ah OK cool. I didn't realize you were meleeing on a blaster. Do you build for melee/ranged def soft-cap or just chug purples and greens? I wouldn't have thought a blaster could stand up to the hits that inevitably get through, even soft-capped. I've taken other blasters into farms that only have S/L/R def softcapped and they have a hard time surviving (esp fire farms). If you have a build, just curious to see it. Cheers.
  19. Out of curiosity, don't enemies still reach you if you fly at ceiling cap? Even if you soft-cap range? I imagine Ice for Blizzard being targetable and having a much bigger target cap. Why Fire if you're flying?

I'm enjoying my EM/Rad/Fire which I put together to try to offset EM's single-targe with AOE from Rad (slotting Ground Zero and also Rad Therapy for damage) and for getting the crit on Fireball. I'm using Meltdown with high uptime for the +45% dmg buff which is highest on scrappers. Tore through a bunch of speed TFs last night (TinPex, ITF, Dr. Kahn) and it really felt like I was making a difference. It may not be the most damage vs. Bio Armor or the best EM on melee (maybe Stalker) but it's a fun combo and surely worth a shot if you have never tried Rad. The Scrapper +crit in TF seems to go off a lot, and I usually follow it up with Fireball or BS / Firebast for the crits vs ET which doesn't seem to get as much benefit from the crit (I think it's crit damage is capped?).   21. I can't overemphasize the benefits of +rchrg procs for DP, due to recharge time on Hail of Bullets. Also proccing is very effective in upping your damage.
  22. This is my DP/Martial. Soft-cap to S/L/E. Couple points: 1) Suppressive Fire if procc'd out is a great fast-animating attack. 2) At 50 my ST-chain is basically Executioner's, Storm Kick, and Suppressive. WIth sprinklings of AOE for +rchrg. I keep Eagle's Claw for style. 3) I would have dumped Eagle's Claw if not for style points - this is not my most min-max blaster. It would be better to slot up Reaction Time, if you're looking for slot use. 4) FF +rchrg procs in Storm Kick, Dragon's Tail and Bullet Rain are the bomb. 5) I like the -res chance in Burst of Speed for groups. But losing slots here wouldn't be the end of the world. 6) and oh yeah, I keep Inner Will on autofire and manually click hasten.   23. Fun fact - decimation chance of build up in Thunderstorm should proc basically every time you summon it, giving you 5 secs of build-up to blast/nuke afterwards.   24. I did a pretty unoptimized run on my EM/Rad/Fire scrapper in 6min. Rad Armor seems pretty well built for these mobs. Being blinded was the biggest inconvenience. The AOE of Rad (the way I slotted Rad Therapy and GZ) helps (with Fireball) take out the minions/Lts, while EM basically destroys the bosses. Especially Trapdoor. I'm sure I could get the time down if I wasn't on my laptop and got a few more runs in to get a better feel for the mish. The key thing though is I never really felt I was in danger of dying at all - just no fears on that front.
