  1. Regardless of what happens on day 1, on day 2 somebody would post the farm strategy that they abused to get to max level.
  2. I've recently dropped infiltration for combat teleport on a toon (and just use athletic run for travel). This suggestion may covers that itch really well. Gonna give it a try.
  3. I was going to say, I suspect 100 will be too much in that it'd constantly run into walls and other junk off screen. That said, how do you guys like this teleporting play style? I've only used combat teleport to TP to a target, which I love on my melee toons. I've not used it on any ranged toons.
  4. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only player in the whole game that realizes how exploitable Disrupt is. I suspect most people don't even know where to look to find it in that list.
  5. I could be remembering the wrong game, but wasn't there some real world backlash about portraying Nazi's in a game that proceeded the council takeover?
  6. I recognize that video content about a game is absolutely how games grow these days. Having a big influencer cover your game is more powerful then getting a spotlight in a big gamer magazine used to be. But speaking as a 50 year old who's trying to find min-max data... well I'd rather spend 3 days parsing my own data then sit through 3 minutes of "content."
  7. Quick Survival tip #1 - if you are ranged, take hover. Fly back and away from the enemy. Stay back and away from those enemies. They will waste time trying to get to melee with you, and when they do get to melee they will use more attacks that hit harder. So avoid melee and you live much much longer. Quick Survival tip #2 - if you're melee, take air superiority and slot 2 SO recharges in it (plus other stuff.. with some accuracy). This power does knockdown 100% of the time and with that much recharge you can knock down a target before it gets back up. For low to mid-game this is the best power available to any and all classes. Quick Survival tip #3 - as you level up focus on +defense. 45% defense is the soft cap where having more no longer helps in most normal situations. But even getting defenses up into the 25-35 range makes an enormous difference. You'll probably be in your 20s-30s before this really kicks in, but when you do it, it'll be game changing.
  8. Or worse yet, you have to suffer through a video of some outrageous personality talking about the game with quick-cuts to memes, dorky sound effects, and repeated thankyous to sponsors and subscribers.
  9. the smallest? "No History Available" ... it's a lie... we all know it's a lie. We just have to put in a bid and then click find and it'll give us the history.... but yet here we are.
  10. Yeah... so if what you're looking for is a constantly evolving game with new updates and features constantly being released, you can probably rule out all games/servers that were originally released 20 years ago, then shutdown 10 years ago, and are only being kept alive by volunteer GMs. But that's just common sense. I mean we all knew that already, right? So, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, the desire for a constantly evolving game is probably not why we're all here.
  11. I predict this will be the most popular TF (sorry, Trial) in the game.
  12. I just went through my spreadsheets quick and plugged in +300 damage bonus to see what was jumping out. Energy Stalker jumped up there for sure. But Street Justice Stalker jumped out ahead. I think that set leverages the procs and critical hits better than any other. My spreedsheets have actual attack chains I've run in game, so it's possible that sacrificing some survivability for recharge could push something else up there. I do think that that mention of mastermind is interesting in this scenario... achieving a condition where your pets actually have capped levels of damage, tohit, and recharge is more difficult to achieve then on a player character, but if you could do it... it seems likely that's a good option.
  13. Just going to add, that even with may entirely maxed out 50s that can handle +4x8, I often run at +4x4 just to speed up the pacing to achieve a better flow state.
  14. I've haven't found a way that leverages it into a strong build, but mixing dual pistols with dark powers to make a "necro gunner" is on my to do list.
  15. I'm not sure how my suggestion creates power creep. Is there something available in what I said that isn't available now for the same price?
  16. Lots of words posted in these threads to convert into numbers. Pretty easy to make errors in that process. Easy solution: Set mid's to use level 15 enhancements and just look at your build.
  17. The result I see from having both attuned and non-attuned versions of IOs is that they cause confusion. I think if we made attunable recipes boostable we could just do away with non-attuned versions and simply the system. As is, it's just an unneeded complication. I realize originally attuned enhancements were implemented as an upgrade from regular enhancements to use if you were going to exemplar often. However, I think in the current state of the game it's better to just simplify the game by doing away with the leveled set IOs and just make them all attuned only. (but do make them boostable. That's still of value.)
  18. I see this question a lot. It just occurred to me that if they just made attuned enhancements boostable, it would (ALMOST) get rid of any reason we have to use non-attuned versions and they could remove them and the confusion from the game. I am going to post this in suggestions. I'm posting this here so if you like this idea you can go comment/like there.
  19. You're right. I just went and fought him. I couldn't find it in the battle log, but he healed at around 25% back up to around 50%, maybe a little under, so that sounds like reconstruction. He also has life drain and spams it pretty frequently. [15:46] Schadenfreude MISSES! Life Drain power had a 7.50% chance to hit, but rolled a 41.57.
  20. I buy/sell ultimate inspirations. They sell faster then I earn threads, so demand is there. Also, there's a lot of incarnate pet options. Make them all just for flavor and/or testing purposes. Similarly, all of the destiny incarnate have value and might be worth taking for situational purposes.
  21. I don't know if there's a limit on the number of macros a character can have. But you can do anything, not just change costume. I wouldn't use it to cycle powers because you can easily get out of sync if you press the key faster then powers activate and/or come off cooldown. I also wouldn't use it to say something every time you use a power because as cool as it sounds, it eventually gets annoying (I've done this in other games... even with 10 different really cool phrases, it gets old).
  22. I'd roll up 2 sentinels. Whatever powers sound like fun to have.
