  1. I think you're right about that.
  2. Well, you're wrong again. It wasn't 3 seconds and yes I did read your post. The problem with your explanation is that you're about halfway to the truth. The truth is that recent shows and movies, woke details aside, suck. This isn't because they're woke, the quality of Hollywood's writing has been deteriorating since the 90s, but adding arrogant "this isn't for you fans" woke BS on top of the suck makes it worse. And then, after releasing a woke show with garbage writing, the show runners will take to Twitter, and do interviews, and attack the fans and call us all of the -ists and -phobes. Which is weird because we loved Wonder Woman (2017 - staring a WoC), we loved Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, and most us were unhappy when Gina Carano (a WoC) was fired by Disney. And it's happened so many times in the last 10 years that now fans are just starting to knee jerk react and backlash against anything that appears woke whether it is or not. You can get angry and call us all of the insults, but ultimately the fault lies with the woke weirdos who keep making woke shows and then attacking the customers who refuse to watch their shows.
  3. They've done this over and over again starting with Ghostbusters 2016, did you just notice that this has been happening?
  4. I think it's all the freakin banjos that make you look guilty. 🤪
  5. Die Schild und Schwert der Entwickler. 😁
  6. Googly's followed a ton of people over the last couple of days. Since there's currently a closed beta test happening I'm going to guess that ole' Googly is preparing for the next set of focused feedback threads. I suspect it's not just me that's in danger.
  7. I'd be an EA/EM Tanker. With Fly & Laser Beam Eyes.
  8. I'll try to remember that. 😁
  9. You're criticizing the devs for leaving that glitch in the game for this long, not disagreeing with them. And no it's not malpractice. Nice try, but it's far too early on a nice sunny Saturday morning for me to get into it with you. Try again on Monday.
  10. Only 15th? Given that he's been creating threads like this for around 3 years now I'm pretty sure it's way more than 15. I've been complaining almost since he started posting that he's either a troll or ... [DIRECTIVE 4]
  11. In the Energy Melee focused feedback thread no one wanted a combo/gimmick system added to EM. But the devs wouldn't listen and added it anyway. (But I'm the jerk for saying the devs don't listen to feedback, ok.) So yeah, if they ever decide to add some gimmick to Super Strength it's going to get added no matter how hot the forum flames get. Remember, "There's no guarantee, but past actions are the best indicator of future performance." Credit reports and criminal background checks are a thing for a reason.
  12. That's what I used to love about Energy Melee. Simple and straightforward. But the devs had to go and add that Energy Focus gimmick. Oh well, at least I got fast ET back. You just know that if they ever work on Super Strength they're going to add their wack-a-mole yellow ring thing, or an Energy Focus, or something. They seem obsessed with adding gimmicks to any powerset they touch.
  13. You know, so many people now days constantly talk about wanting to "punch a Nazi", but a lot of them will suddenly go all "Gehen sie an die arbeit, Kamareden!!!" the moment they see anyone doing anything in anyway that they don't like. Why do so many of you want to control how people are allowed to play a video game? Do you get a percentage of the monthly sub fees? If you do then I definitely understand why you want to control how people play. But, if you don't get a percentage of Homecoming's monthly income then what is your motivation, beyond simple petty power-tripping, in wanting to control how other people are allowed to play a free game?
  14. Can confirm! 😁 I agree with you on this. And, after checking my guidelines and rewriting my post about 5 times, I've realized that's probably all that I can say on this. Yeah, I really don't understand why so many people spend so much time trying to control what other people are doing. So many suggestion threads essentially boil down to the OP wanting the devs to create a system to force other players to play the way the OP wants them to.
  15. I used to recruit and run PuGs all the time. The last time I kicked someone it was because they joined my team and then didn't enter the mission. I asked once if they were going to join us and then, once the mission was over I kicked them. The right answer is: be a leader. Let people know right up front "No leaches on my team. You join the fight or I kick you." And then, if they still sit there leaching kick them. The kick button is there for a reason, use it whenever necessary. No one can solve your ability to deal with other people except you. And it's curb not curve. This. This right here. This is the mistake that's behind 90% of the problems in any relationship. Whether it's a teammate, a boss, or a spouse, stop thinking people already know. They don't. Tell them. Succinctly. No one wants to hear your 20 minute long story about how your neighbor killed a squirrel and how that made you feel. Just say "I don't like it when you do that. Please do this instead." If something bothers you, and you don't say anything, then it's your fault not theirs.
  16. I'd say that the Gravity Jets need to be fixed (many of them don't work or don't send you to the right place) and then it'd be fine. Of course there'd also need to be a content revamp, like increasing the variety of the repeatable missions, and revamp the mobs so they'll be suitable to challenge Incarnates.
  17. Yes. I made a thread myself about this, a few years ago. I'm sure that I'm not the only one, and I seem to remember suggestions about fixing up the Shadow Shards and making them co-op, back on the retail forums. It's one of those suggestions that's been made a zillion times and has never been acted on, by any of the dev teams.
  18. No, it means YOU won't play it. I, and many other people, play Storm characters all the time. Please don't make the mistake of believing that the entire playerbase shares your outlook.
  19. Because they don't want to make the same mistake the Paragon devs made, where the new powersets are OP compared to the older ones. This game has enough powercreep as is. Clearly many of you think the devs have gone too far in the opposite direction and made Storm underpowered. It's certainly possible that you're right, the devs have buffed the set once or twice since it went live. That's part of their plan too.
  20. This sounds like it would be a great powerset for PvP only, especially if each of these powers places Containment on the target. In PvE I can't see it having much effect unless the entire powers system is rewritten. For example, how would #1 just deactivate an auto power? It's my understanding that NPC auto powers can't just be shut off, they have to be countered by debuffs, which are affected by the Purple Patch. If #1 just ignores the Purple Patch and shuts off the power entirely, especially if that power is otherwise not affected by debuffs, that would make this far and away the most powerful debuffing powerset in the entire game. /powercreep
  21. Ok, fair enough. Note that I'm going to hold you to this, I've always wanted a flamethrower.
