The point of this thread was one of discovery, I have zero experience with tanks, during live and now I have only ever made brutes. I finally got around recently to making a stalker and a scrapper. I prefer to quantify ATs through comic explanations ie Wolverine is a scrapper, Superman is a tank, etc. Through my eyes "last man standing" equates to everyone in the JLA is beaten and Supes is the one who saves the day. I did not think of the purpose of the tanker while starting this thread, which in the end is to control aggro. So I have a Elec/SD broot that destroys mobs, a rad/fire and spines/fire broots that run fire farms no sweat. I have an elec/SD stalker and an EM/EA stalker that can handle anything thrown at them. Everything I'm used to is eliminating mobs as fast as possible, so running a tank to be the center of attention is different, but, considering how fast mobs are steam rolled these days does the tank still fill that spot? On a side note, I'm going to look at a "fear tank" you piqued my curiosity on this.

I second this, talking to a rock garners better results and.....comprehension.

Nope, Sentinel holds that spot 😉 WS aren't that bad, they are good on a team, they aren't Uber by any means, so your not going to be soloing AV's. I have a human form, that is geared towards eliminating enemies just to harvest them for pets, so its like a multiple negative nrg blaster. Roll one, make a build on Mids, figure out if you want to be a tri/duo or human only and lvl it up. That's the best way to determine if you like it.

At the bottom level of the ski chalet in Pocket D, there is a door that leads to the Winter Forest.

Make a farmer, rad/fa or spines/fa broot, farm the inf and drops. Play the market with those drops, right now is a great time to buy winter sets, sit on for a few months then sell for profit. I have 2 farmers, billions of inf, enhancement tables in my VG full of purples, ATOs, pvp, procs, etc. The reason was back on live I was always broke, tried farming as much as possible but never got anywhere. Now I can make any AT I want, have all the inf and materials to slot them, pl all the time. Is it alot of work, yes, but it has paid off. Good luck!

I figured I was going to try to make a dom one day, and this is build I'm going to try. I like to get into a more tactical approach instead of just steam rolling mobs. That being said how does this work in a fast moving team? Do you just TP mobs to the current group and keep it going? Instead of trying to set up on the groups, which isn't practical if everything is moving quick.

@Player2 i was on a fire farm where it looked like the enemies in another mob where carrying baseball bats. I got closer and indeed they were but, when I got within perception range they disappeared. It seemed pretty strange to me like that would occur. I've also flown up to the P2W woman and she has had no skirt on. Just weird lil bugs 🐛.

I'm on Everlasting so there's that....however the wife is on the channels and occasionally she does Help someone but, most of the time its just a bs or bitchfest especially General. The only reason I still hang on to LFG is because of the constant MSR or Hami raids being conducted. All the rest is just an annoyance or ((I'm a hero here to save the day look at my fancy new tights)) stuff....

When I make a new toon Help and General are the first thing edited. Not sorry, Help is useless most of the time, General is just bs, and half the time LFG is anything but what it is for. Solves alot of issues when they don't exist. 😉

Omfg if the tf/sf scaled to lvl, that would be fantastic. I would love to do a Task Force Commander run at Incarnate lvls. Having Dr. Vahz at lvl 54 would be a nice challenge for example.

I look at it this way, I started this game along time ago, how long I dont know, but, a long time. I made friends back then that I still run with now. I have played many games over the years and other mmo's and not one of them have I made the long standing friends I have today. Plus, its real friendship where we talk about our personal lives, know our spouses and children's names, and actually are invested in our friendship. What other game can do that?

I'd rather do Bio on a scrapper or brute instead so no sweat. Rad was my secondary choice anyways so now I want to try it. I make and delete toons like grains of sands through a looking glass these are the alts of my life. 😉

I took mace as the secondary as a frost giant concept.

For concept I took Bio and claws, it's a humanoid T-rex, I could fit Rad in instead, I've heard good things and I've never tried it so why not?

I rolled Ice/ just because i wanted to see what it is like, since it seems to be a red headed step child of a set. Also, rolled Bio/ just because, I'm wondering about its effects on boosting damage on a tank. I suppose I could have just rolled them up on Mids but seriously that doesn't tell you if you can enjoy a set and it feeds my altitis.

So I realize that it is a AoE tp with kb/stun effect. My question is for the T4, the perception, stealth bonus, does this help a stalker build as a passive unresistable boost? Trying to think outside the box on this and if so it would go over stealth cap, right?
