  1. 🗑 🔥 🤔
  2. Turn off unnecessary toggles, tough does absolutely nothing in a farm thats 90% fire damage. Sprint, prestige travel, power pool travel (SS/SJ). Slot endurance reduction. Once you get IO slotted, you gain more endurance reduction and can run it longer. Pancreas / Performance Shifter procs in Health/Stamina. Incarnates, Ageless Core Epiphany.
  3. Up to you, but 40m inf can equip a fire farmer brute even with SO. Slow progress going, but even -1 +4 will net you at least 15 million in 30 mins after selling everything.
  4. Turn off sprint, Prestige and any travel powers. Go to Null the Gull, disable movement buffs from others, like losing speed boost +run but you still get the +sta recovery. That should put you at a crawl. I just don't see how you can be any faster with all that off, IO bonuses to +travel powers are a joke, for +7.5% run its a whopping 1.5 MPH, which maxes out at 8.5 MPH but +speed bonuses are one of the least amount of bonuses you will see in any significant numbers.
  5. If you see Deadbloke on Excelsior, send a tell. I don't mind running farms with someone else, makes the game a little less boring.
  6. Joing a Water/Temp blaster who dragged a brute around on a second account. He doesn't hover, but plays like a FPS with SS/CJ and doesn't move much. Impressive, he can cast the T9 nuke and Judgement while running before he stops for the cast time and is beyond their retaliation range.
  7. Try this, tweaked around some stuff. You were franken slotting for minute +recovery, but if you turn off tough you are good to go and Ageless Core Epiphany has you covered. Ageless Epiphany has your stamina recovery covered An extra 20% recharge Changed Mu Mastery choice selections, electric fences and Ball lighting. Both have a -Resist proc, adds some utility. Quills is slotted with an brute ATO set, another freebie slot if you don't want the other ATO with +regen/End proc +5 boost : All the LoTG defense sets and the standard IO Recharge in Hasten and Firey Embrace You can +5 boost everything, but its gonna run about 250 million extra upside, you are pushing max dmg (small gain) but it also increases +ACC/End Reduction/Recharge (bigger gain, yeah its tiny but it pushes you closer to ED cap) The sets look funky, but the brute ATO in Burn gives it 7 sec recharge and under 6 when Ageless is running, -resist proc in it makes it far more reliable when it procs vs in a damage aura toggle And damn, that last brain fart with the brute ATO made me realize I might need to revamp a couple of builds. Faster Burn recharge, hits hard against even a EB like a single target.
  8. At work right now so can't look at the build but I was doing the same with my fire brute using +def inspirations; once I hit 47 I had to turn the level down as it began to be a slog. NPC 51-54 seemed to get a different stat modifier and felt like they were harder to kill with a half ass build. I like cross punch, had it part of a half ass build before respecting. Just doesn't seem useful when fully built and finished. I forgot about the Fighting pool and it's synergy with kick/punch; good idea. Actually, if its a Cone it can fit some decent IO sets; seen some wonky melee attacks coded wierd; melee attacks with 90 cone are actually a 360 degree PBAoE with a firing arc. Spines is confusing as it has a Ranged AOE, 2 PBAoE, a Ranged attack and Melee. Need to check when I get home, don't like Spines personally after trying it.
  9. Your interested. Doesn't mean anyone else is interested. An option is by definition not forced, Doesn't mean anyone else is interested and you end up with *crickets* from no one interested (like Ironman TF) or people bailing out quickly.
  10. You do realize Incarnate is optional, so you could make friends and run without instead of forcing an option then waiting for people to show up for like 30 mins when no one is interested.
  11. +5 boosted Also Entropic chaos set, but its Lowe percentage.
  12. If you ever want to convert it to a farmer, here is something I was messing around with my Psi/Fire brute.
  13. I am too burned out to build or correct a farmer, I would probably come off as an asshole, but there are some major considerations for thoughts to look at This is your build, flipping out about half the sets. Notice how empty they are, you are only at 42.5% defense where as it was like 55% but you only need 45%. A single taunt set of Mocking Beratement in consume will push you over the 45% defense and pick up some recharge. You lack recharge, go for at least 120-140% while incarnate Ageless Core (Destiny Incarnate) covers the rest (Barrier pushes you way over the defense cap) or build up to 180% with 2 IO Recharge boosted to +5 makes it perma. Cross punch is useless, you got plenty of cones in spines. Picked up vengeance, slot LoTG +7.5 recharge in all your defense powers. Quills and Blazing Aura, slot 5x for an IO bonuses and schockingly you will get more bang for your buck with straight +DMG/ACC/End reduction in the toggles over the 4 procs. Slot the armor toggles with Aegis, focus on anything with endurance reduction because using the pure +resist vs an endurance/recharge (looks useless, that recharge)....you end up way over resist cap and the endurance reduction will solve the stamina problem; Aegis Res/End, End/Rech, Res/End/Rech is the 3 you should look at. And you still have 13 extra slots I unassigned, use this as a template and focus on recharge. Don't 4 slot Stamina and Health, realistically only the default with a pancreas and performance shifter is what you will need. Farming is about speed, not about keeping the gas tank full.
  14. Really fucking tired of the forum eating my posts for hitting back space once. tl;dr - run tutorial, turn 120 into 500k, 30-45 mins, buy and scrap SO level 50-54 for 50 inf on the AH, Sell to vendor for 8k to 15k. Standard stuff like DMG/ACC sell high end white fear and -tohit are the low end.
  15. When you encounter robots, your damage will be heavily resisted. Both are good, have 2 different brutes and Psi is fun with Mass Levitate, with Electric and you building in S/L defense you can pretty much laugh at anything with Energy Blast; the split damage of energy/smash gets checked on smash, you avoid like 75% of the attacks and any energy is reduced to 10%. If you IO in S/L defense (not resist), you don't need Power Surge as your native resists will cover more of the damage. Lighting reflexes, is 20% recharge +40% slow resist, +run/flight speed; its pretty much a given. Also take Grounded, its your only +KB protection unless you build it in or take Acrobatics.
  16. What issue exactly? 6 biased opinions, doesn't constitute a problem. You need a much bigger database of the issue and recipes drop like candy. I will log my farmer when I get home, run an empty round of briggs, and still nearly fill salvage/recipes in 5 minutes.
  17. Put in burn, it's more consistent. If you are a non fire farmer, you could put it in a AOE like TW and or Mace where it goes off quite frequently.
  18. Electric is good, decent resist spread. KB protection when on the ground, easy to build in a few bonuses, built in +recharge power. Heal is more of a passive regen for 30 seconds after it hits with the +HP, but if you are fighting something with -regen it makes you cry. As for farming, its possible to farm with electric armor using the same PVE build. Built for +S/L defense not +E/N defense, find a farm with ENG damage; it must be Energy Blast and Melee; no electric blast or electric melee. You do defense checks vs the +Smash component of the split damage, any energy that gets through it is reduced by 90% and smashing should be around 80 anyway. Just make sure you got some KB protection slotted, when you jump you lose the bonus from grounded. Might not need more then +4, but my electric brutes aim for 10 just in case and end up with 25 or so with grounded. It won't be a mean machine farmer, but if you got time to burn and not enough to group you can do some AE.
  19. I remember that from like when I was 8, my mom got so pissed at something she chucked it at the coach and put a hole in the wall instead.
  20. How exactly is your concept outside "Oh, he has this back round and powers." The sets are vastly different play wise, otherwise you are just talking about graphics and may end up hating the concept. This is mostly from playing melee ATs, but the difference in play style: Electric armor, great resist spread and you can build for +S/L defense to mitigate about 80% of the incoming damage towards you. Energy Aura, equivalent to super reflex but damage typed. You can avoid almost all attacks coming towards you, but its going to hurt when they hit. Both seem to have a mixed grab bag of gimmicks for utility with, both had a regen + heal and endurance discount. Both have a health toggle, Eletric is +regen while energy is +HP. Im a sucker for electric armor, once you avoid a lethal defense check for split damage type attacks like Cremate Smash/Fire or Ice Blast Lethal/Cold you just reduce the incomming damage by up to 75% (Sentinile cap) and regen the rest back, can easily build in +KB protection. My Mace/Electric brute laughs as most S/L/F/C/E attacks at 80% resists while his weakness are N/P at 40% and Toxic; then if he gets hit with -regen he cries
  21. This. Make friends, join a SG. Gentleman's agreement, "Guys, no Incarnate please. Its just so boring!" Only problem I see, is that you want to force as an option that it can't be used. Problem is, most people like it....so your going to be spending way to long looking for like minded individuals; I see the occasional "No inspiration/outside buffs" TF but its rare maybe once every other week. Make friends, run it everyday!
  22. More powers for the enemy. Widow smoke grenades, Malta sappers, Nemesis vengeance, and Paragon Protectors hitting MoG. Like, why can't Skulls be making life difficult, nothing like them going invisible then popping MoG and every other gang banger suddenly getting Neo from the Matrix like reflexes from Vengeance.
  23. Yeah, though its usually 90% accurate like stone monument. That to its current form, total opposites so probably an uninformed person wrote it before they archived the site.
  24. Doomguide's list, Gladiator's armor is a good source since you will most likely be 3 slotting for resists at the 3rd bonus and might as well slot a set in Fire Shield and Plasma Shield; gives you 6 and dropping a +4 protection from Karma/Steadfast puts you at 9. Blessing of the Zephyr alone can use the default of a travel power.
  25. , Paragon wiki is wrong then. Says melee sets get Craze
