Can't read the OP build, on my phone. The second build, I see unnecessary stuff unless its for kicks. I see kismet +Acc, reactive def, and Shield wall defense sets which are eating up an extra slot, 3 Luck of the gambler. Aegis sets, swap everything with End reduc, you will be over cap anyway and can save a few points of endurancs. The Armageddon in burn should be in Atomic smash, throw a Achilles -resit in sixth. Burn should be Siccoro with the Fury Gladiator -Resist. You don't need 6 slotted Superior Brute Fury anywhere, good to go in Blazing Aura 5 slots. You should free up some slots and move at least 1 to Firey Embrace and Fusion, cut some more recharge down. And you only need the default slot in health/Stamina with the +end proc, with Incarnate you got more then enough recovery; lots of gas in the tank but a fire farm is about completion time a drag race not endurance run in a lap race.

It's not a heal, it's a hp buff with heal components to top you off when the buff is applied. Made several Mids paper theory rad melee with Inv or Ice Armor, the rad melee Radiation Siphon when slotted for heal sets is comparable and pretty quick recharge. Alternatively you can always swap out a melee set.

Started a TW/Elec fire farm brute, 3 force feed back. If luck and animation times align in a blue moon, can use a single target to build momentum, the 360 degree and arc combo, BU to build momentum again, 360 degree recharge, arc attack, and 360 degree is backup for a 3rd attack. Can't remember the name of the attacks, but sub 3 recharge gets beaten by 2 sec animation times when you got 2 left thumbs 😐 -
It's not protection, all NPC have random status or resist. Status effects get multiplied the lower the level the target from yoy, Freeze Ray is like 8 seconds but if you are 50 and zap a Freakshow boss in the 30s it will last Like 3x as long.

Pick a goal in mind: Lethal / Smashing defense, recharge, padding up some of the weaker resists Pick the powers you want. Now look at what the powers allow you to slot. Done, now you know how to build an IO bonus build. Unfinished build with extra slots and powers available, pretty sure it wasn't mine and move some stuff around. I tweaked it for S/L defense to 45%, which about 75% of the damage in game is pure smashing/leathal or split damage; defense is checked against the highest defense you have so a 80 Cold / 20 Lethal attack will check against the 20 damage of lethal. Things to consider: You don't need a lot of endurance recovery, electric has a endurance reduction as well as an endurance drain power. You also have Incarnate powers that add a lot of endurance/recharge/bonus to defense or damage ect, which are like Nitrous Oxide in an engine. Multiple slots in Stamina and Health won't help you, the Energize has a built in heal and 30 seconds of regen. Damage procs are not a must have, sometimes adding a sixth slot after you slot one power with 5 of the same set (4 power modifers, 1 damage proc) and you don't need to add a random 6th damage proc....in mace with +knockback you can add a recharge proc that adds 100% for 5 seconds which will reduce a few seconds off longer recharge powers (doesn't sound like much, but over a course of 10 minutes might reduce 30 seconds). You can also split a power meaning you can mix sets, can use 3 of the brute archetype set to oget +5% defense to smashing lethal and put the other 3 in a different power. Its simple, just takes some time and a goal in mind of what you want. I recommend you go look at a fire farm builds and try it, you don't have to actually make a character for farming but Fire farmer brute (3 requirments of 45% fire defense, 90% resist, high recharge) is something that is easy to build and understand the IO system better. Its very easy to build a Radiation/Fire brute, then keep building it over and over until you are satisfied as long as you hit the 3 requirements I listed; I just finished a two builds which are titan weapon and radiation melee paired with Electric armor; less orthodox then a fire armor set but electric armor is something different and you don't see standing in the AE. I am highly satisfied with them 😊 and just need to test them out.

Why bother, they stay on when you log off. After that, you probably don't turn them on that often per week anyway unless you are going to an all you can eat pavement buffet.

Stop grouping and avoid the sets with KB, problem solved Easiest solution is a P2W buff, won't "lol compromise" a build when 5 slots is sufficient and that 6th could use a KB->KD enhancement anyway for what exactly? piss damage proc probably, isn't a forced on for anal retentive groups except when you need it, and can pick up to 8? hours at low cost and able to revoke. -

Controller Dark Affinity - Fade + Shadowfall = 20% defense vs all type/positional Defender Time Manipulation - Farsight = 19.81% + Power Boost = 32% defense vs all type/positional Farsight is the closest thing for defender as Fade is to controllers. Defenders have higher buff modifiers, but those numbers are ED slotting with 3 generic lvl 50 IO. Fade would be something in the area of 12.5% with no IO, +20% with 3 generic IO 50, throw on Shadowfall and Power Boost Fade its low 40% positional defense vs all type/position. There are easy low percentage slots in the first couple of bonus on sets to cap the 45%, don't need Manuvers or Weave you would be over 50% so its easy to hit that 58% defense for that one TF which escapes my memory. And for corrupters, about the same numbers for controllers. Throw in Weave and Maneuvers, pretty close to defense cap and minimal IO set slotting to achieve that. Theory crafting here, but can then enhance recharge to make corrupters a blasterish powerhouse. Maybe Mastermind special set like Dark Affinity is explicity for Controllers, tweak it a bit and lose some powers while inventing new ones. The defense would help the MM pets and some type of low damage resists. In the end, Dark Affinity is Dark Miasma for Controllers. Porting over would make the set exactly the same as Dark Miasma, except for the 2 buffs that everyone desires. Maybe a "Shadow SomethingSomething" powerset with different powers than Miasma but Fade and Soul Absorption would need to be tweaked as it would basically Force Fields without the toggle on a single click and Empathy buffs on very short recharge with minimal slotting. Fade covers all defense types, Soul Absorption covers health regen and stamina recovery...powerful combo in minimal investment; not game breaking numbers.

Tweaked it, bit more utility like extra slots in Fusion and Firey Embrace. Slotting Cross punch was 6 slots with very few useful bonuses until the end. Managed to squeeze in another 15% recharge. Removed the extra health procs, Pancrease and Performance shifter all you need until you use incarnate which covers you. Had to undo incarnate, newest version will put some powers right under the prestige sprints and ends up covering it. -Resist proc in both Atom Smasher and Burn.

I came up with this, but needs one set of winter. I just don't have the time right now to shuffle things around and get a rock bottom price build This one is a spines/fire, it is cheap like a firesale on clearance and someone just posted it the other day but I tweaked it. Could solo +4/8 now problem as it fits 45% defense and 90% resist, recharge is'nt high but if its auto follow it isn't a problem

He will still melt when 16 things hit him, without adequate defense to avoid a majority of hits a +4 boss is pretty much autohit and the number of minions is like being shot at by a squad with gatling guns. Then has to alt tab a lot to hit heal a lot.

Dark Affinity is a buff and debuff set - Fade and Soul Absorption Dark Miasma is a debuff and control set - Fearsome stare / Petrifying Gaze Other then those 4 powers, both sets are the same. Controllers don't need control powers in their secondary so get buffs, Def/Corr/MM don't need buffs when other sets offer it so they get controls powers.

It doesn't load properly gives "There is a problem to load powerset" about leadership. Have to take what loads, export and reimport. Not sure what you did that caused that. but this is what I came up with just moving slots. The slots in vengeance are honestly a real waste beyond the default. Probably about 20-40 million more, 40% more recharge. Heal full slotted, extra slot in burn with -resist, another IO recharge in fiery burn. Change taunt to Temperature protection, capped fire resist so don't need the +resist enhancements you had in CJ. Some other miscellaneous stuff. Suggest you change out the enhancements for the Aegis sets to the ones with endurance reduction, kind of high for my tastes. Would recommend removing 1 slot from either Health or Stamina, put 1 in build up. Would really recommend you remove both of the extra slots and just use the default with Pancreas +Hitpoint/End and Performance Shifter +End. And use enhancement boosters, Hasten/Build/Up/Fiery embrace, 2 50 IO act like 3 enhancements. Cost alone would be about 3 million for 6 Recharge enhancements to +5. -

Waste of effort to code specific inspirations and it clogs up your tray, already a hassle enough to feed your pets colored skittles. Change MM inherent to act like the a toggle buff (kind of like Leadership, AoE but doesn't boost like leadership) that transfers over inspiration buffs. Once you consume an inspiration, its shared with every other pet. Maybe not Respites, cause that would be a bit OP in survivability but Resist/Damage/Acc/Def inspirations; don't think status protection would be a good idea. -

I would say its impossible, you exit an AE it will kick you to a map not the SG. SG are considered an instanced map. AE are instanced maps. All teleports go to the world map from instance maps, including a mission door which is a "teleport" click. You would be going from SG to AE, which is mission to mission, as both SG and AE are instance maps that players can mess around with; SG you can change the environment and AE you can change the NPC characters. Better option would be to allow missions to be generated in AE and use a world map door, you can assign a zone which then picks a random door. Maybe you just set the faction or create the NPC, then set the options for map type to be generated (you don't pick the map floor plan, its generated like any other map). Access through a contact like a detective or the contact list. Don't think its possible to assign a door type, paper missions go through a swanky and well to do office right into the cesspit of the sewer. -
I was like "Why go damage, but use Status protection?" I looked at the build defense. Oh...that makes sense... You sir, are a nut job. Lethal/Smash farm on a fire armor. Every other Fire brute just backs away like Peter Griffin when you walk into the AE. "That guy. F***iing loon."

A week late, but how about this. Bit more recharge, moved slots around, you had way to many in the armor toggles, missing the 1 of the 2 +3 Def IO, to many slots in the defense toggle. Ditched the concealment pool, if you are using it for defense you can't AFK with burn if they are to far away. To many slots in Health and Stamina with recovery, to much gas in the tank and a loud rice burner engine on an 18-wheeler pulling a trailer of bricks; you want to finish as quickly as possible. Slotted Smite, nice fast recharge hitting for those bosses. Slotted up Healing flames, you will rarely use it. Slotted 2x Taunt sets in Consume and Dark consumption, +recharge and +fire defense bonus...plus you can alternate to recover endurance and once you get incarnate it barely drops anyway. Removed one of the brute ATO set, no benefit like recharge since it was just +5 lethal for a +fire defense farm. Popped a -resist in Lighting ball, increase damage on the next hit with what ever. And the best was Tough of Fear, 6 slotted with procs; AoE is small but its extra AoE I realized at the last minute and it looks like it will hit hard but so many procs seperated by damage I can't see how much it may do. And Assault/Tacits is debatable to switch out, I like to hit more often with +tohit while as nice as Assault is you can macro combine inspirations and eat reds quickly. And +5 boos Hasten/Firey Embrace, pretty much goes from 2 recharge IO to 3. You can +5 the defense toggles CJ, Weave, Manuvers but it would be tiny; but just in case mids is wrong and you need to get over that 45% cap by a smidge.
