Make overpaying on the market place fixable.
Outrider_01 replied to Saarthalian2's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I don't know what you said, but I didn't imply it was the only option. I said about providers "not in most cases" (cause even I know its not the best solution, but I am good at sounding like an ass) so slowing down on your time before clicking to double check the number is another option I mentioned I only quoted the parts that influence is laughably easy to come by and where you imply its the other guy who is ripping you off cause "they didn't earn it", it was because you made a mistake. ... Making mistake happens, blaming it on others is just an excuse when "they didn't earn it". "I dun made a goof, here is a suggested solution to my problem" without the "they didn't earn it" when in fact you know you lag; its easy to avoid a mistake if you take precautions. Solutions, always a good suggestion but don't use "they didn't earn it because I made a mistake but I am getting ripped off" in the heat of the moment suggesting it; doesn't hold a lot of water with me. Just "I lag, I make goofs, this would be a good way to prevent us from making these goofs again." Oh yeah, I only see 202 million. Where is the rest? -
Can We Talk About Accolade Click Powers?
Outrider_01 replied to Derek Icelord's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
We playing the same CoH: Homecoming? If a lot of people are quoting "solo +4/8 an TF and AV" it isn't really a long or tough fight to them, its a challenge and a metric. When people are ROFLAOCOPTER laughable stomping normal content with their Incarnates, it isn't a challenge it is just a way to kill time. Even without a click accolade power, your character is a god at 50. Positron TF, wouldn't need it (stupid example, but you get the point). Game is so easy, if you don't have the time and are impatient to use a crutch accolade while choosing not to get that T9 armor click (if you are melee) I don't know what the problem is if you don't want a challenge or want to spend the time for a tough/long fight. But that is my opinion. If you are looking for utility over finding value in an accolade, look at some of the incarnate. I think its hybrid set, 2 minute recharge that blows away an accolade; I click 1 in mids to see the effects and go from about 40-50 defense to well over 100; you don't always need to max damage for a character if you want defense/resist at the same time. And it recharges in 2 minutes, why bother with an accolade that is a T9 armor with a long recharge even at 15 mins. -
Incarnate Powers - Lore and Judgement rework
Outrider_01 replied to krj12's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Narrow minded pin point of view. It is just a few powers that alters your "perception" of what a AT is when in fact it gives a minor perk with a massive recharge. Yellow inspiration, tactics, ect You are already a god when the build is complete, that is 1 weakness. Plus blue insp and recovery powers that are not rest. Oh, no. It was put in for a reason. And sprint/free inherent passive run/jump. And sppedboost. Not sure what that last is, but /regen already ya know, regens. There are sets or powers similar. -
Can We Talk About Accolade Click Powers?

Archmage, Demonic, Geas, and Force are the equivalent to a T9 armor click. Not meant to be used every time when its up. Not to mention IO Defense bonuses, kills any reason at all for even a T9 armor choice. Yeah, most are skipped, but a free power slot plus a freebie Alocade armor on just about the same recharge as a normal T9 would just FTOM even more. -

Chill man, game shits out everything you need. It's easy to replace, takes time. Neither did you, the rewards are higher than when the game was released on Live. You had to replace SO every 5 levels so it was next to impossible to gain inf unless you were a fire tank. At the same time, there was no use for it so it piled up, maybe buying Hami-OS back in the day. Homecoming gives inf away. The only thing to blame is yourself, if you are lagging get another provider (not likely in most cases) or you can just slow down 2 seconds before you click bid. -
Because this

Pfft, screw that. I want some of those mechs and power armor. More bad ass then a bunch of Johnny 5 wannabes.

There is a +5 buff on the P2W, lasts an hour at 2.5 million cost each hour, stacks 8 times. Can fill those gaps. Need a Mace/Mace brute; cause war mace is that awesome.

I was bitching about that same problem months ago but it was ok for a MM player to say it was my fault; cause you know they are standing in the way and being a melee I can't get past them. Glad someone else recognize it. Kinetics exacerbates the problem. And I don't particularly care for this shit buff, sure I can push through them but they have mass and momentum to push, bump, and shove me out of the way. Fun times on a melee, always not activating an attack.

If you think about it Characters: 1000 Characters Storage each Tray: 70 Slotted: 70 x 3 (different builds) SG : 1000, 1 per character if you are insane Base Storage: 1782, each AH: 195 slots, 10 each stacked Email: Lots, 1 account At this point, I don't have enough toes. A lot of people tend to assume they need a single storage SG. You can use 1 main character to build and dump enhancements in the bins, then log the other next one in pick up. What they need to do is stop letting them collect dust, or try what I was lining out for better management per character; keep a diary next to the computer.

I bought out all the water, hand sanitizer, and hand wipes. Only problem is the damn blasters are stealing the water while the Empaths keep on taking the hand sanitizer to use against Vazhilok. Don't get me started on the hand wipes, everyone keeps on trying to wipe off Bio armor for some reason.

Human nature is to find one course of action to achieve a goal. This action, attaining influence. Grinding inf in the AE farm. Grinding inf in AH selling IO you made. Grinding inf flipping salvage buying low and selling high, passive income in massive bulk. I could be wrong, but I don't see someone really trying to troll the game. Quote from months ago in Indomitable chat "game shits out inf/exp/salvage" and only the recipes are the real exception. Salvage drops by the bucket, recipes by lottery. Even if it's a group of people, they are using an opportunity they see to make a profit without a lot of effort by finding a niche in the market. Price only skyrockets when everyone is panicking over a yellow, cheaper then a red and yellow is a more common requirement for a recipe. Small profit with huge turn over, Walmart style. Should try EVE online, the market system is very similar to real world and it changes dramatically when you can massively influence it to make a huge profit. Its mostly. 01 cost change for hundreds of millions, far more annoying when someone does it a second after you.

I was messing around with a build found in "Farm Fresh" for scrappers and converted to brutes. The scrapper build was all arounder 45% defense for some reason which looks like a fun PVE I might try, but on the brute I made separate Smashing/Lethal build or Fire defense. Smashing/Lethal - 48% melee as well, wasn't intending for that. No Build Momentum, Titan Sweep instead; extra attack doesn't hurt...except the bad guys. Can put in BM and tweak (Sweep giving some defense in the IO set), not a fan of build ups anymore but assume it gives the +charge stack similar to water blast for a few attacks while the recharge of the power kills it for me. Fire defense - pretty much a straight port from the scrapper. Not like the SM/L build, Titan Sweep not included. There are 3 extra slots, popped into Brawl until I find a use. Probably health/stamina IOs. Fire defense above, with Mu secondary. Went with Pyre on the first build, Mu gives a lot of FLOATING NUMBERS! .

Just this. Very satisfying when clobbering the bad guys.

True, I didn't see the bottom until after I posted. And a huge difference on my phone, easier to read. Might want to make a bind for that last one near WASD. I think it would be easier to hit instead of an extra F key unless you are very good at multiple key command.
-
Was thinking like the Incarnate powers, says what ever direction you are facing. Targeted or not, huge target cap regardless if it's a cone or not in my opinio, still hits a huge amount. Don't use them, but stats are impressive.

Uses small inspirations as they drop more often, with 20 slots and 8x3 types/sizes to start with you are hard pressed for space when the inspirations start dropping, you are combinging, might have 2 of the same color/size, and the next might be some random can be any other color/size that drops. Might have 1 or 2 medium ACC while the next drops are 2 blues (small), 3 green (combine), a break free (large), 3 medium orange (combine), 3 reds (any size, eaten), 4 accuracy (any size for 3, combine and 1 left over). Basically, you will run out of steam the +damage reds if the 20 slots get clogged with useless stuff you can't use. Yes, it is a lower +damage from the reds most of the time, but higher rate of +dmg red combinations; as smaller inspirations any color drop more frequently. --------------------------------- (copy pasta I saved) I was told by another person to do this. Its a bind, instead of a macro. Less clicks and trays open. To maximize to the damage cap, use this bind. You will find it easier then banging F1-F5 repeatedly or the larger will drop less often resulting in combinations. 1. Go to P2W vendor, Inspiration Drops, Reject Resurrection Inspirations (awaken), Reject Protection Inspirations (status protection), just below that Reject Medium and Large Inspirations. Now only the smallest will drop. Smallest are the most common, so you will fill up with all types to convert to reds really fast except when powerleveling others as it divides equally even if they have a full tray and it keeps sending it regardless of that. Slows down a bit. 2. use this bind /bind ` "inspexec_name enrage$$inspcombine respite enrage$$inspcombine catch_a_breath enrage$$inspcombine insight enrage$$inspcombine sturdy enrage$$inspcombine luck enrage" Copy from / slash all the way to the end " parenthesis or it will mess up. Essential /bind -> enrage" and also after /bind is ` tilde key next to 1...you can /bind T or what ever of your choice key by changing it. (color doesn't matter, its just to make it more visible on the forum) Also, its important if you want to change it like I was explaining. /Bind Key <--- Key can be Z, A, C, G, L. You get the point. 3. Buy 3 Greens, 3 Blues, 3 Yellows, 3 Oranges, 3 Purples. This will help you test and use the binding. That key will both USE small reds AND make them at the same time. Might want to try another character first, so you don't mess up your settings on the main one. Even a level 2 has 4 inspiration slots if you want to test it, just buy 3 of any kind and click that bind to get a red. Then try different colors to confirm it.

I like that word, next to blapper.. And Blapperlock. 😆

Combat jumping, smidge of Defense. Doesn't work with ninja/beast run. Super jump, vertical and horizontal movement. Nuff said, lacks the speed of SS and the height of Fly. Like Teleport, bur slower. Everything in 1 pool. -
Tempest's Roleplay Suggestion Compendium
Outrider_01 replied to GM Tempest's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This. I mostly want to change it, have two characters with an ugly ass "school bus canary" yellow. I am sure their is some formula based on the name, the colors are the same every day even after turning option off. And having 2 accounts same color. -
They can **** off, you don't have to play by the rules of a LARP. Lousy Acting Role Player. All you got to do is try to stay quiet and try not to interfere.

is atlas park hellion golf still possible
Outrider_01 replied to trogenion's topic in General Discussion
Naw, go to somewhere like +30, use /Martial Combat in blaster secondary. Be one with the Ki Push, love the Ki push. 6 slot that thing. Hit a bad ass boss and......watch them slowly rag dolls fly away like skeet shooting. Wacky hold and repel aspects in the info. I fell in love first bad guy I hit in Outbreak and giggle every time. -
And that is what I was saying. I was not clear, not my best trait. I meant even increasing the cap, with that narrow cone it would be like a narrow melee attack; harder to reach that cap if not all can fit in the narrow cones half the time.
-
And then they would not be cones, then it becomes a directed AoE with limited firing arc, the cones of range attacks are narrow would make them like crappy narrow melee cones, Sand of Mu comes to mind if things got to close.

Proposal: An Alternative to Super Strength
Outrider_01 replied to Captain Citadel's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Reduce the +damage like half, bump the damage on the attacks a bit to compensate for the reduction of Rsge, and toss the -defence/endurance crash. The power is so punishing to use.
