Mutants finally explained in Marvel
InvaderStych replied to LegionAlpha's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Agents of Shield, Season 3 - First two seasons were just a tease, *this* is the origin of "Inhumans" (Mutants) on Earth. Inhumans The Ill Fated Series - No, wait, guys, WE are THE INHUMANS!! Agents of Shield, Season 5 and beyond - Well... Ackshuallllyyy, you're just not though. 🤣 -
You gotta know YOLO, otherwise you get the FOMO from the GET GO. 😉

Keep me on the stand-by list; once RL aggro subsides and I'm back in game again I'll ping here or wherever is appropriate to see if this is still a thing.

Fire/Stone/Blaze: Build Evolution and Marginally Coherent Ramblings
InvaderStych replied to InvaderStych's topic in Stalker
Yup! EE doesn't need a ton of slots unless chasing bonuses from Heal sets. Since I can't get past the slot inefficiency it takes for the good bonuses on those I rarely take that route though. It is trivially easy to make the +HP buff permanent and the heal is pretty small anyway so I figured enough recharge for an overlap was enough. -
So am I alone here?

Ever build just for maximizing incarnate effects?
InvaderStych replied to Snarky's topic in General Discussion
The -def from Musc Core was (kinda, conditionally) noticeable on my Kat/Rad scrapper that didn't need the EndMod from Radial. But building for something in the iSuite specifically? Hmm. I don't think I have. I've experimented with odd Alpha pairings on Beta server. Psi/SD still landed on Musc Radial though. I think there are folks who will build planning on Cardiac or Ageless to solve for endurance, but I try to solve for that without it. Secondary effect in Musc Radial is usually enough if I am falling short. @biostem called it though. Insight is an interesting one to experiment with. Not an alpha, but when I realized how effective the slows are in RoF and RT for my Fire/Martial blaster I spec'd out Gravitic Interface (the side that mostly slows, not the side that debuffs secondary effects) to stack it. I'd call that Interface under-rated against the default options, especially on teams/leagues where the DoT stack limits from the common choices can come into play. That toon also carries Degen, but I've never felt the need to swap to it for more dmg. -
Build Request - Savage Melee & Regeneration

Dunno if you Discord, but Mids Reborn has one. Help Channel should be this link: https://discord.com/channels/593336669004890113/1103076495796215858 -
Me too. I meant to put some sort of light-hearted symbolic facial expression thing in there, but I forgot.

Yup, I was right the first time. City of Tanks.

So, when are they going to fix the problem caused by AoE size increases for Tanks giving them a greater rate of successful Proc rolls than the AoE in question should be getting? Because that's broken and Tanks are cheating procs in AoEs. PPM calculation includes Area Factor, which reduces the % chance of a successful proc roll. Larger the AoE, Lower the Chance. This calculation does NOT factor in the size buff granted to tanks. So if an AoE was 10', it is now 15' but still calculates Proc chances at the rate for a 10' AoE. More successful rolls than it should be getting on an increased target count. Debatable elsewhere, but right now Tanks are getting more out of them in AoEs than any other AT.

This is an old guide, but I followed with success on a Goldside solo run in 2020 with an Elec/SD Stalker. I was able to do the undercover stuff as well as obtain each "All Missions" badge for all three zones by following it with obsessive attention to when I was shutting XP on/off and what order I was talking to whom. I forget whom, but there is an additional write-up on HC Wiki by someone who ran into a couple of snags during their run. Less detailed, but iirc explains potential traps more clearly? Either way, I got this to work, meant to do another run along a different choice tree. Tips: Start in the tutorial. This is the only way to get the undercover options. Pick a path from the options available and do not deviate from it: ie - if you exit the tutorial as a Loyalist and choose Always Betray, then stick to that list in the order listed. Turn off XP for Zone Events. Protest is easy, Syndicate is tough to solo, don't recall what the 3rd one is, probably didn't run it. You don't have to go through the portal. You can delay choosing hero or villain as long as you like. Head straight to First Ward -> Night Ward as a Praetorian if it suits the toon. -
Multiple Auto-click when ready

Can already be done through a variety of methods via binding. Here's an example that barely scratches the surface of what is possible: A "+left$$powexecauto Hasten$$powexecauto Active Defense" D "+right$$powexecauto Active Defense$$powexecauto Hasten" S "+backward$$powexecauto Active Defense$$powexecauto Hasten" W "+forward$$powexecauto Hasten$$powexecauto Active Defense" -
Fair enough. City of Data is an amazing resource (once I figured out how to read what I was reading ... mostly, still a lot I don't grok), and I'm quite glad that its maker(s) keeps(keep) it maintained. If the Meta is part of a player's fun-time, then it's definitely the place to go. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/help.html?page=overview Aside from Word Of InternetMouth, idk how to get the word out either. I think there is a pin about it in either Guides or Tools; if there isn't there should be. 🍻

"If you've never took an 'L' then you'll never be a boss." ... this post is apropos of nothing relevant to the thread topic, just love that line, and more people should have known about Evan "e-dubble" Wallace before his passing in 2017.

If only more people realized the multitude of things that don't affect them in the slightest and are thus a simple waste of caloric energy to think about, much less get all upset over ... ... if ... ... only ... ... I mean, I remind myself of this truth every day and still fail to live up to it regularly ...

Trying to explain to the OP why the current state of the game is best described as City of Tanks is a lost cause, that's why Vincent thinks this thread is hilarious.

... seems I may have missed the memo on Hybrid: Support. 🤣
-
Core side shouldn't, but it does. Radial side should (because it Taunts), and it also does. Never tried the Support Hybrid, but I'm struggling to think of a Stalker that would benefit from it. I never really got an answer on Assault though. Generally if base damage mod is >1 then Core is better for the damage buff. But with a Stalker you want up-front damage in certain circumstances when Core would not necessarily be maxed out and only offering the base 15% (at T4) for having it slotted. Radial, with the Double-Hit is a chance of nothing, or a chance of about another ~100+ dmg to an AS - which can be significant. (EDIT: at 50 - because Radial's damage is a complex calculus of activation time and lunar phase, then neutered by Area Factor if an AoE, certain attacks get fat damage from it at T4) So, over time Core is likely to be a bigger damage boost, but Radial might be more beneficial in short skirmishes where spike damage comes hard and fast and buffs over time might not build to max. 🤷♂️

That makes sense. Yeah, unless you've parked for a very long time they tend to wear out quickly. Blessing of Tikikikikiululululu or whatever her name is might be the longest lasting temp at 5 days of in-game time in duration, but that's not a day job. 🤣

Yup. Mids Reborn has its own Discord: https://discord.com/channels/593336669004890113/601871697444077568 Good for tips with builds as well as the program itself.
