This is a multi-level, massive maze base inspired of Oranbega - the (in)famous Circle of Thorns underground city. There are a few utilities there in one of the first rooms but the very most part is decorative only. Quit asking... no i'm not providing a map ! Challenge's open to visit all the (roughly) 25 rooms. Will you dare to go in... and come back ?? Now for some background story... You were looking into the labyrinthic hallways of Oranbega for this so-called "Library of Souls", but this portal you went into was definitely special. The pugnent odor of some weird incense associated with translocation magic leave you dizzy and sneezing for a bit. When you come back to your senses, you realize you landed in another district of Oranbega. But something's wrong about it. Where are the mages ? Even the floor is weird - you can see through it like a glimpse into the void. You found a spellbook open by the entrance - you could swear it has been put there for whoever come here to read it. It bears the Circle's seal and has been carefully written in this spidery handwriting the mages have used you to see so far. "Greetings, whoever you are. You have found the way into one of our secret places of power, but before you go farther, give up on hunting us down again. There's none of us here, we're way too busy elsewhere, plotting for your doom, haha ! If you manage to navigate this maze and keep some of your sanity, you may encounter a few of our slaves though - they may dull the agony of running around this place in circles a little, but they will definitely not tell you how to find your way out... We've made sure they do not remember. When you'll be done reading this book, you will know how to come back here. The Void is the real architect of this place. Give in to it. Let yourself be consumed... and remade as part of it." You take a moment looking around trying not to focus on whatever lies below. This book makes you little nervous but the curiosity is stronger... What kind of dark secrets the Circle could have hidden in here ? Is that something too dangerous they had to live it by its own ? Is this some strange repository ? No one's around, you could probably test your luck and try to thwart some of the traps to loot this place... You know what the Circle is capable of with the arcanes and dark magic: the deeper you go, the weirder it is. And most of the times: it get nastier as well. You continue reading the book. It is probably the light playing tricks with you. No, this can't be, those letters don't move by themselves... After a bunch of pages with cryptic symbols and runes, you find some pictures in it. No - actually these are lithographies. Could it be ?.. Fragments of memory, pictures of this place ? You wonder... is that some strange tour guide or a way for the profane to be dragged closer to their demise ? You take another look at your surroundings, as strange pictures start to aggregate in your mind, like puzzle pieces putting themselves together. It's getting more accurate, obsessive, almost painful. The clouds materialize into solid matter, and from it emerges a wall, with a door, surrounded by torch bearer statues. With something written on it. "CIRCLE-10768"... Huh. What ?! You decide to pick up the book and start exploring. But even with all your might, you realize you can't move it at all, it's like glued to its stand ! You can't help but think some others might find this place someday and realize this could turn into their final resting piece - you can't restrain a smile. Whatever happens now, you're going in. Entrance: To go from one floor to another, jump through one of the three light pillars. Flying is not required but it helps. Some of the stuff you can see around there... There's a hidden teleporter in the pyramid that let you access a 3rd level.
  2. Numbers still show up when you move your mouse where they are supposed to be. Please don't call me harsh but i'll be direct here: mids through wine has unpredictable shenanigans that is pretty tough, when not impossible to test. Other OS but Windows may support it to some extent, but you'll run into this kind of issue pretty often. Use a windows-based machine or a virtual machine. Again, sorry.

Hi I've been having this from time to time for about a month or so, but now this has been 5 times that it happens in the same mission (Dr Graves 3rd Arc, Ambush Dr. Graves) at different points in the mission, but most are when Graves starts talking. When this happen nothing much you can do but kill coh process and start over. The fun fact is you can still play as normal - sort of - you just won't see what you're doing. These days -except today- it's usually once per day, sometimes none when i'm lucky. I'd gladly send bug reports but it doesn't even let me do so. If anyone has tips or tricks on how to mitigate this i'm all ears. I'll keep going see if i can finish this mission. GPU: Radeon RX 6800, driver 22.8.2. Thank you
  4. Hey Started noticing this during P4 beta but i've been told it has better visibility here. Some multi target powers are barely audible now after the recent audio change - powers' sounds volume does not depend any more on the targets hit. Little disturbing, and for some i often think it missed when it did not. Some examples among the most striking found so far: - Electrical Blast AoE "hit" sounds: Short Circuit, Ball Lightning, and Thunderous Blast to some extent (much less visible on this one) - Staff Fighting AoEs: Eye of the Storm, Guardian Spin, Inocuous Strikes (? - tested as a stalker) - Mu Fences and Ball Lightning - Kinetics' Siphon Power and Transference when applying buff to allies, Speed Boost and Increase Density. Fulcrum Shift barely affected. - Ion Judgements... this is probably the most striking among all. It's like most sounds are just not made for a single "stack". I did testing with staff, it is back to more or less normal level with a 150% volume boost. Maybe make that optional - if possible ?
  5. Hi It won't scale on windows either, Mids is unaware of high dpi settings and the main area has a max size. You may change font sizes - to some extent - but nothing can be done for the main graphics. Keep in mind what you see in the main window on the right is just a single drawn surface. To keep it simple, it has its own rules for text rendering and you can only scale down power buttons.
  6. Hello Follow-up of ticket #34563. - If you spec crab on an Arachnos Soldier, all your costumes will magically be equipped with the crab backpack. But it's like Dr. Octopus' tentacles, they're literally bound to you. Most likely also on all the costume slots you may earn later. - If you have a crab spec, then switch to another build, the backpack stays, and you can't use the custom color one. If you insist with the costume editor you can end up -sometimes- with a cape and the crab backpack. - If you reached this point, every time you open the costume creator, it sets a 200k inf fee (at level 50) for re-setting the back detail to... the exact same thing. There's no turning back now, don't do the same mistake as i did. Don't do a triple build huntsman/bane/crab on a single toon. - If from one of these toons you save the costume and try to import on a bane only arachnos solidier character, it's a crash to desktop guaranteed. I could reproduce it 100% thrice in a row. Enclosed is the costume file - for debug purposes only, you've been warned 😛 - I haven't tried getting rid of the crab spec for something else to see if the issue persists. Hope this helps.   11. Hello No issue here, but i also notice all your pool powers have a scrollbar and enhancement label is cut. Is that a font size issue ? On my machine, the enhancement selector popup is 198x315px, border included.
  12. Hello Fyi you don't have to nuke Mids' folder. Workaround: Hover over the icon in the taskbar, on the preview that shows when hovering the icon move your mouse into it and right click it and select restore or maximize. It's a known issue that affects some users, it's being looked into.
  13. Hello This is more some weird behavior than a real bug. On my screen (3440x1440, 43:18 ratio), most of the cutscenes show characters headless. I just would like to do it myself before Crosscut -or anyone else- do 😛 I'm using Windowed mode, 3440x1377 game resolution. Pretty sure all these are fine on the more standard 1920x1080 of my laptop so i doubt i can do something about it. Anyway, i'm open to ideas. Warning: spoilers inside, open at your own risk.   17. Hello Well, how to tell you... Pine's has been frozen in time since, huh... 2015 maybe ? (I was on it...) Don't use it anymore, you have no idea how many patches have been done since then. Much more than one major version difference. Please provide the builds you're testing this with, i don't think it's the unenhanced values. If you land on other oddities the best place to drop them is the github issue tracker or Mids' discord. Thank you
  18. There's something else about D-Syncs, all their icon are the same. Unlike HOs and the like there's no way you can make any difference between different types, the D-Sync machine fills the whole space inside the ring. (Zoomed in) There's still a bit of room between the core and the outer rings, and the outer part. I wonder if it's enough to actually see something ? An (awful) attempt (30x30), Acc/Dam:
  19. Hey there. Just finished HM1 & HM3 runs. Pretty insane stuff. But we were the nastiest and prevailed. 50+ KOs, i stopped counting. Acceptable loss™. 🤪 Nothing critical to report, just a few things here and there. Yes, i'm picky and i know it. ... What ? xD I lol'd. Extra tilda before the music notes that is probably meant to be a single eighth note. (Blame google if that's not the correct term) HM3 rewards... wasn't the table supposed to be different from lower difficulty with some incarnate components ? Oh. And i appreciate you put this the WST this week, these yummy 120 merits per run. 👍
  20. Hello Thanks again for your hard work this. 👍 Minor issue: the launch "smoke" on its icon gets out of the pod circle, and out of the IO border. Sorry... didn't notice this until i could see a larger picture.
  21. Partially fixed, lowest now is 25-30 fps and most important, not at risk of crashing. I made some adjustements to some things that are located -very- far away from the entrance room and definitely not in sight, sometimes with up to 3 cemetery walls in between. - Invited some spearfishermen to get rid of the tuna "infestation" in the aquarium. Fun AND profit. My kind of business. - Roworked lighting: up to 6 Rularuu balls in some places was maybe a little too much "balls of steel !!" feeling. Most are now one stack, sometimes two. Lowered balls density as well. - Injected melted impervium into this dreadful corner. No one shall pass. No weird creatures, none of Saroumane's foes, not even hydrogen molecules. N'Garai demons maybe...

  23. Hello, That's been a few weeks now i started having lag issues in my base with certain view angles, and it's very likely to trigger a crash. When it happens, game completely freeze and will stay like that until it is closed by force. So no bug report for you... Check it out: ADJ-792 on Torch. In the entrance room it is fine unless you're on a line around [20.1 48.0 553.2] - [118.8 48.0 502.9] with camera PYR 0, -1.13, 0 (Use /showfps 2 to display camera POS/PYR) FPS drop from 70-80 to about 17. Not really sure what triggers it... It sure is a complex base for sure (~9k items in a few rooms) but not the most insane i've made. I've went up to almost 20k in a single room and i didn't notice the issue there. Any ideas welcome.
  24. We're working on it, there's an issue with the powers below "Inherent powers" line not being drawn when added or loaded. You can slightly resize the window to trigger a redraw, they will reappear. Also, 3.0.5.6 is not latest 🙂
